The vibrant doe didn't reply, focused on remembering that there was a songbird on her head, and it had permission to be there. She was a little confused at first, as a voice seemed to echo through her head. She was going to... have a family? Was it that buck? She was so embarrassed!
After a moment, she felt tingly, and then her head felt lighter. The bird was gone. She hadn't gotten to thank the strange creature.
She took a deep breath, looked around and yelled a "THANK YOU!" into the wind of the swamp before slowly laying down at the base of a tree. She had to protect her family! Her blue eyes piercing the area around her, even more protective than she had been before the bird had appeared moments ago.
