Well, the smoldering blush now overtook her cheeks with a vengeance. "I..." her voice faded off as she took the teddy bear, holding it with both hands. "Thank you, Joshua...." she murmured softly, hiding her face behind it. If she had her plum with her, she'd be hiding behind it too. Her wings hung low behind her, bowing under the weight of her nervousness. She'd NEVER been in a situation like this before.

Her head was starting to feel a bit fuzzy. It was starting to make sense now. Her mind was clicking all those past events, those little comments Joshua had made to her in the past, into place. How could she not have seen it before? The blush that covered her cheeks darkened, and she found her voice leaving her to fend for herself without it. She looked at the floor, not looking up at Joshua or any of the surrounding dolls. She was scared...she had no idea what to do.

Nataya blushed, then started to flicker. She looked like a glitchy hologram or something, fading in and out before finally disappearing into thing air.

"Good going." Rayne said, rolling her eyes. "You had to go and shock her awake, didn't you? I was going to show her the fields after the dance!" The doll shook a finger at Joshua as she spoke, obviously annoyed. Ugh, leave it a nutcracker to go and mess things up!



Nataya blinked her eyes slowly, squinting at the light that filtered into her room through the curtains. She said up, rubbing her eyes as a few of the dustbunnies rolled about the bed around her. "What an odd dream..." she murmured, picking one of the bunnies up and petting it. She looked down, eyes widening as she saw what lay on the bed atop her legs.

The teddy bear, still holding the little heart balloon. But how? It had just been a dream.....hadn't it?
