Dr. Miller gauntlet holder
Enter the doctor.

xxx He was in the town in which he had grown up. Not that anyone that could remember him was still here. They had either died or moved away long before he had returned. He had made sure of that. In the only small cafe in town, Ian watched as one of the local Wk operatives payed up and strolled out the door of the coffee shop. It was easy to tell that she was an operative as he had seen her in uniform a few days ago looking bored and sullen. To his knowledge Wk thought that he was in London as that is where he as last seen. This meant a few days of calm to get supplies and rest before the caught up on him, which they would eventually. But it would be down to the specialised trackers chasing him rather than the backwater operatives currently living in the sleepy town. Paying up Ian calmly closed the door behind himself as he left to wander round town. Putting his hand in his pocket he felt the metal glove and carefully wrapped his hand round the outside of it wishing that he could slip it on, just to feel all the power coarse through his body.

xxxThe female operative was heading to the music or the book store from the looks of things. As usual the music store was always closed, as it had been on every Thursday since it had opened four years ago, so unless she was into books she would be a bit disappointed. Slipping into the book store, Ian disappeared between the shelfs to look for a book to last him on one of his many train journeys to another country or city to escape. As repetitive as it was, thay hadn't caught him yet.

Alexia ShadowWolf
"This Lonely World is waiting for your voice. Scream out your existance and the meaning "Here I am" to the swirl of spinning wildly Chaos."

Alexia had just returned to the Rebel base from her latest mission, to bomb an envoy on it's way to Atlantis, which was successful, her missions always were. She was good with explosives after all. After setting her gear on her small bed in her quarters, she went into the small bathroom, in the base which she now calls home.
"I think I'll use more black powder next time." Alexia thought as she washed her face and cleaned herself up a bit. Even though she with the rebellion, she had to look presentable.
"I wonder what's next..." She said to herself as she walked out of the bathroom and down the narrow passage way to what would be the meeting room.
"Everybody should be coming in soon..."she thought as she found her chair, waiting for everyone else to show up. Alexia started to hum a song she had stuck in her head, propping her feet up on the small table.

Kyne Balderon
"We cannot let the world turn into a living hell."

Kyne walked into the meeting room shortly after Alexis did. He had already heard about her successful mission. Through investigations, the rebels had found out that the envoy was out to experiment and had carried some dangerous cargo that was highly destructive. Better gone than blowing up a whole city. Some of the rebels' recent actions had already been a little controversial. But that was why they were now working on organization and coordination.

The rebels were made up of many different type of people. Some had longer term plans to overthrow the government. Others just wanted to hurt the government and really had no regard for the in between. And another group wanted to focus on helping the civilians. Yet others just wanted to get away from the government. Between all the different interests, Kyne had to get each of them to understand the situation and collaborate. Luckily, he had ideas and had been employing them to unite the groups.

Anyhow, he had heard that there was some possibly useful information to be had at the small town of Namvin. "Alexia, good job on the mission! How about a little celebration? I've just heard some news come in about the town of Namvin. Let's head to the Namvin bar. Some of the others will be coming too, and this will serve as another mission."

((Edit: Namvin is a completely made up name. In the event that there is actually a town named Namvin, it has nothing to do with this town.))

Alexia had heard Kyne coming down the hall. She stood up and removed her sungalsses, sticking them in her pocket with her gauntlet as he entered the room.
"Thanks sir. I did my best." She said as she rubbed the back of her head and a small laugh escaped her lips, an awkward smile came across her face..
"A couple of drinks do sound really good... When do we head out?" She asked looking at Kyne.
"When was the last time I went out and had some fun?..." She thought. "Hmmmm... Oh yeah last week... I really shouldn't drink so much... I can't even remember what happened..."

"Haha. We head out right now. Don't drink too much there, Alexia." They were already in civilian clothes, and usually time was of essence, unless there was a waiting game involved.

Namvin was the name of the town that Dr. Miller was currently in. Although Kyne did not know Dr. Miller, it was possible that he and Alexia would meet the doctor in town.

The rebels were human after all, and every now and then enjoyed a drink or two. Though there were always some who enjoyed a bit more than just a drink or two.

Setting the stage.

It was getting dark in Namvin at the decent time of seven at night. Paying for his book Ian exited the shop to let them close up for the night. Deciding to get a few drinks in before moving to the next town over. The only pub in the town was family run and had a livly atmosphere when full, but mostly full as it was, there was only a small murmer of conversation in the air. Ordering a pint of cider he moved to one of the two empty stalls leacing the next one over free for whoever caame in next. Conversations wove over each other as Ian relaxed in peace trying to decide on which town to go to next.

Alexia blushed at what Kyne had said, but he did have a point. She really should lay off the booze.
"I'll try, sir. I'm not making any gurantees." She replied as she turned to leave. Alexia quickly grabbed her messenger bag before loading up with the others that were going to Namvin.

Thirty Minutes Later...
Alexia entered the pub and spotted an empty booth next to the one Ian was sitting in. She ordered a bottle of vodka and sat in the empty booth, taking a swig from the bottle.
"This place is pretty lively... I should come here more often." She thought as she took another drink from the bottle.

Kyne soon joined Alexia in the booth. Namvin was relatively peaceful. It was too bad that the rest of the world wasn't like this. His thought was stopped by a memory of the corruption in WK. Of course, being peaceful didn't mean that the town was free from corruption. Even corrupt places could be peaceful.

"Well, first ones here," Kyne grinned. "If you'll excuse me, I'll be right back." He said to Alexia. He headed toward the bathroom, leaving Alexia free to explore or talk to anyone nearby, if she wished to.

"Alright." Alexia answered as she smiled back, taking another drink from the bottle of vodka in her hand. She looked over at Ian in the other booth.
"He looks like he's up to something... I'd better keep an eye on him..." She thought as she downed the rest of the bottle. Alexia ordered another one. "I'd better slow down. don't wanna repeat last time." She laughed outloud softly as she thought of the other night.

The booth next over was soon taken up by the next couple who walked in the door. Slowly but surely small groups of men entered after them but they dispersed among the crowd, joining in with the conversations like they had been there the whole time. With the atmosphere now loud and chaotic thanks to the newcomers, Ian could only here the conversations of the booths that were next over, with laughter and shouts coming in from the main bar area. Watching the male of the couple weave over to the rest room, Ian glanced back at the female to find her already looking in his direction. She looks like she's up to something... I'd better keep an eye on her... Ordering another pint, he watched her out the corner of his eye, waiting for some sign that she was after him.

((And to bed cos it's midnight here.))

Alexia quickly looked away when she noticed that Ian was looking at her.
"Watch it, Alex... Don't give the guy a reason to think you're suspicious..." She thought as she took a drink from her new bottle of vodka as soon as the barkeep brought it over. "Where's Kyne?" Alexia took another drink, trying not to look suspicious. She started to look around to see how many of her commrades had entered the pub. "Alright there are several of us here, good."

((Alrighty. Good night!))

((I won't have Kyne come back until Articx gets a chance to post a reaction.))

Meanwhile, Kyne had gone to the restroom. There was only one other man there. The two began to converse softly.

"The gauntlet user that I mentioned is that man sitting close to your booth."

"And he doesn't appear to be with WK."

"Might be a good idea to keep an eye on him."

"We don't know his intentions. Perhaps, he can join us, if he wishes."

And the conversation went on and ended quickly.

((Clarification: This is in the bathroom.))
