Dysi laughed lightly, his tone friendly and open. "Ah, that may be my problem. My feet don't stop wandering enough for my brain to wander off," he said with a light chuckle. He was a wanderer, through and through, and had yet to truly find something to make him stop and slow down. He hoped one day that he would, but he couldn't think of what it would be. He supposed one day he would find it, he just had to keep looking.

" Well, perhaps that'll happen sometime soon " Mani said with a smile, and a dainty snicker. Unexpected things were always bound to happen. Such as their meeting. Life was strange in that regard, but, that was life after all. You live day to day, seeing what will happen next.

Dysi smiled at her, pleased to her the dainty snicker, it was nice to hear her upbeat and happy in his presence. "Perhaps, but until then, I'm happy with how my life is right now," he said, with a playful wink, joking lightly. "Especially now that I have met you." Of course, he was happy to have met her, but it was said in such an over-dramatic way that it was fairly obvious as a joke.

Mani, upon hearing the leopards' comment; unintentionally acted girly than before. She couldn't help it though, as most males always treated her with ill intentions. Poor thing could never figure out why. In a way, Mani was soaking up his kind words like a sponge.

Dysi felt slightly awkward when she said nothing to his tease, and stared down at his paws instead, wondering if he had insulted her with his words. He rather hoped not, she was a pretty little thing, if a little on the quiet side.
"Do you den near here?" He asked, wondering if she traveled like he did, or if she had found a den to stay in. She had spoken of walking earlier, but did not say if it was a habit or a constant thing. He had met few cheetahs who had a set territory, though one did spring to mind as having a territory, so perhaps this cheetah was like her. A curious thought.

Mani's ears perked up a little, " Well, I do have a main favoured den. Others I don't usually use. Just.. doesn't feel right, you know? " She had hoped that she wasn't being confusing.
" ..Fortunately, my favourite is nearby. Something about just makes me feel more safe than others. Why do you ask? ..Are you feeling sorta tired? I wouldn't blame you. Doing a lot of walking can do that to you rather easily. "

Dysi perked up at her words, and offered a polite smile. He didn't quite understand why it 'doesn't feel right' in some dens, but what mattered most was that one of her dens was nearby. He didn't plan anything devious by it, but his paws were weary from walking and he could use a break, he decided.
"I am," he told her quietly. "Would you mind showing me to a den you know of? It doesn't need to be your favourite, I am simply tired of standing on my paws." He gave a half grin, that hinted at honest weariness and exhaustion from his earlier walking.

Mani offered a friendly smile, " I'd be more than happy to. "
" It's just a little past that bush. It grows in front of it, and sort hides the den. The ground is usually cool in there, so it'll soothe your weary paws. "
The purple and black cheetah walked a few steps in the direction of her comfy home, but stopped to make sure Dysi was following her. She was a little nervous about sharing her den, but Mani knew Dysi wouldn't hurt her. He didn't seem at all the sort that would. It was always nice to have company, especially the sort that makes you feel better.

Dysi followed the cheetah, smiling at her as she paused to allow him to catch up. He walked beside her, his slightly larger form staying at a steady pace as they walked. He was looking forward to resting, but he was glad that he walked so far that day, because he'd met the cheetah.
His tail flicked behind him as he cast her another smile. There was something about cheetahs that always drew the leopard in. So pretty, they were. Full of subtle grace. He mused, as they drew closer to her den, on the pretty little friend he'd made today. What a lucky find.
