"Sorry Nephenee, I got a bit upset that's all, so, where do you want to go?" Edward heaved his pack over his shoulder. "I'm thinking of doing some errends or something before so I can get some money." Edward took out his wallet and sighed. "I'm soooo broke...."

Nephenee looked around. It was dark (I'm assuming?) and it was hard to see, but she thanked the stars that the moon was at least there. "I can't see a dang thing!" she muttered. "I dunno what t' do, really. I'm jus' as broke as you! That Joshua guy stole all our money!" She pouted and then sighed. "I'll jus' have t' eat my corn for the night. I don't live that far. See that farm right there?" She pointed toward the plains to a perfectly plowed and fruitful land. "That's where I stay. If ya want food, I'll take ya there!"

"Ah, well, OK, I don't want to miss anything so I'll have to hurry back." Edward looked in the direction Nephenee was pointing to. "Well, you know, he didn't steal our money, he just won it, that's all, just remember, we shouldn't gamble anymore." Edward shuffled in embarrassment and turned back to Nephenee. "Shall we?"

"Never again!" were Nephenee's last two words for gambling with anyone. She just didn't have the money nor the skill for something like that, although the short moments when Joshua had let her win had been fun, but no more! Gambling was to much stress... For now anyway.
"Let's go!" She, said as she led the way clambering over hills only to run down the opposite side until they got to Nephenee's farm, when she had arrived in this strange country she had stayed away from cities because of her feelings towards city people, and so had never gotten a real explanation of how she got here or what was happening and had settled down by building a small cabin (with the help of a few nearby farmers) and planting crops, upon hearing that an army had arrived she had taken up arms again in order to defend her new homeland…. Unrecognized by the Estarcia army she was sent to join with the Learnia forces.
"Wait right there, now! I'll go get us some of that corn over there!" She led Edward inside her home an opened a door leading into a store room that held the vegetables she had harvested in October, grabbing one of the cobs now she handed one to Edward and then took one for herself."This here's sweet corn," she explained. "It's mighty fine raw! Try it!" With that, Nephenee peeled hers and started eating it with a big smile. Nothing was better then enjoying the Vegtables of ones labour.

Edward took a bite and swallowed. "This is great! You grew your crops here? Man, I have to eat a real dinner here!" Edward finished off the cob of corn and threw away the remains of his corn and turned towards Nephenee. "So, you live by yourself, and work by yourself? And now you're going to war? Are you sure you want to do this?"

Lance was pondering the options. He didn't quite know what the plan was for each place, and he had no idea about the battlefield layout for any of them, so he'd have to go with the commander for the respective locations.
When Blossom mentioned Vaida, Lance froze up. The time he spent in Elibe was mostly intact, so Vaida came up clear in his head. Dangling near a cliff-edge by the tip of a spear...he shuddered at the thought. But then again, no one else knew him here, so she probably didn't either. If that the case, Vaida had a very quirky badass personality, so following her command, so to speak, would be an experience like no other.
On the other hand... Lance listened in on the red-haired guy, the son of Eliwood, if he remembered correctly, as he spoke to...whats-her-face. Did he know her from before his mind went blank again? Or did something about her just rub him the wrong way?
Their conversation, however, struck a wrong cord with him. Roy told her he was joining Vaida's group, and the woman was going to follow him. There was nothing wrong about this in particular, but the way she said it was as if she was following him not to fight, but to be with him. That motivation didn't sound very smart, because her focus would be on something completely different...
Lance was considering raising an objection about going with Vaida's group, but when he thought about it, if he'd leave that fight to a pair where their intentions was wishy-washy, and the woman was more interested in romancing with the guy that looked as if he had barely gotten out of his adolesence, then that location was risking a failure...someone would have to keep them in line, or at least do their work for them.
That'd have to be the best adventure possible, right?
"A'ight, I'm with ya on tha' plan, little Blossy. Restia seems like the funniest-sounding place anyway." He leaned in as if to whisper. "If not for the excitement, then to keep those two bozos from screwing up, I wouldn't be confident in leaving those two alone under the command of Scarface."
