I had a file from ME1 where wrex died. I think it was my first file I made. His Brood Brother basically is left in charge and he looks just like wrex. It's kind of different because all the Krogan like him more then they did Wrex. Apperantly Wrex rocked too hard razz
Anyway, I decided that would be the file in which I get to see the suicide mission. I was left with 4 people in the end, and my dumb shepard survived but that was my fault. At one point during the playthrough I wondered what ME3 would be like with all these characters gone. So I upgraded the Normandy gun and armor. I didn't upgrade anything else because I then realized I wanted to see the suicide ending. So now I'm going to make another file, which I don't mind, I guess.

the first time around atleast four of my crew died; mordin, miranda, garrus and wrex, if i'm not mistaken.
if you don't want any of your crew to die through the suicide mission, you have to do alot (and i mean alot-alot) of the improvements from the tech ward in the Normandy.

[SPOILER ALERT]
It's possible to lose everyone including yourself.
I had everybody survive.
Get all upgrades, even Krogan shotgun and Geth sniper.
Use the right experts when asked for them.
As soon as Kelly and the rest of the crew is kidnapped, go out to rescue them. If you do even ONE mission before going to save them, Kelly WILL die.
That is all I've discovered so far.

I had Jacob die, reloaded, Tali dies, reloaded Mordin dies - Cant be stuffed loading agian -> Import ME2 save and play again

I AM THE CHAMPION! I lost no one on my first time through!
I had to do a LOT of upgrades though. I had been way to scared that people on my team would die, so I kept upgrading, and I guess it came through for me smile
Also, I saw a youtube video where everyone including Shepard died. In the end, Joker was talking tot he Illusive Man... so in ME3 would Joker be the main character on that game?

No, for ME3, you simply can't import a ME2 file where Shep dies (allegedly).
You your options are to either import a ME2 file (or maybe even a ME1 file w/o ME2) or start a ME3 file from scratch, which going by what a fresh ME2 file decides, will make your Shep an utter dickhead by sticking you with all the d**k choices.

UDINA WAS ON THE COUNCIL! I hope he dies in the third game

Slight problem I did Jacks loyalty mission but she didn't get to blow the place up and so I unlocked the outfit and power but it says her status is normal
