The effeminate young man's lips remained curled in a smile, though it softened to something more gentle. It was almost as if a burden had been lifted off of his shoulders, though in all honesty, there had been no burden to begin with.

First, and foremost, after her acceptance, he made certain to let her know his gratitude towards her decision. "Thank you, Miss McMahon." Apparently, he had caught that slight nervous habit of biting her bottom lip, for he then added "I promise, I will not be too restrictive, so you can enjoy yourself."

He paused, looking away for a brief moment and took his cup to his lips for the first time, as if to test whether his beverage had cooled sufficiently yet. Unfortunately, it was still too hot, so he pulled the cup away carefully, yet swiftly with a soft hiss. That would be about the only complaint he would make aloud about his drink, and in an effort to distract from such, he casually asked "I would like to know what sorts of colors you will be looking into for a dress. I would hate to accidentally select any sort of outfit that would clash." As if he hadn't just burn his bottom lip slightly, he turned back to the fawn-haired girl with a smile.

He nodded his head, mentally noting the information she offered. Colors had been taken care of. The next thing in his mental check list was soon enough brought up.

"Would it be okay if I take care of the flowers? Corsages, boutonnieres, things of the like." There was a small pause, but then he explained "I know it might be strange, but I am rather fond of flowers." It would seem that Bell would see how well pink went with Howl's hair, for his cheeks flushed faintly at the mention of his interests.

"Do you have any specific requests, my dear? For flowers or anything else really?"

If both of his hands had been free, he might have clapped them together gently in excitement.

"Excellent!" he exclaimed, obviously pleased with how things were turning out. He grew silent for a bit, thinking over carefully about the situation, turning a few things around in his mind.

"I suppose the only other thing I can think of is a way to contact you when the event gets closer, so we can organize meeting times and any other plans for the evening." He turned to his tea and blew into the little opening in the lid, definitely not forgetting what happened the last time he attempted to take a drink.

"I will be honest. I cannot give you a phone number, because I am living off of a calling card." He laughed here, thinking it appropriate. Seriously, who used a calling card anymore, in this day and age of cellular phones? "I can give you an email address though. I do not know how comfortable you are with receiving calls from non-familiar numbers, so this might be an easier method to keep in touch."

He smiled sympathetically. "No worries, Miss McMahon. If I may...?" His fingers reached out for the pen, and when it was offered, he ripped his napkin in half and wrote in very elegant script his own email address. He handed his own to her, then glanced at his watch.

"Oh! My how time flies!" His eyes seemed to widen slightly, as he found that he should have been on his way perhaps 10 minutes ago. Carefully, he folded up the napkin he had received and tucked it away in a pocket as he stood up. "It would seem as if it is time for me to head back. It was lovely to see you again, Miss McMahon." Rather quickly, he swept his hand down to take a hold of hers, and placed a small kiss upon her pointer knuckle. Nothing romantic, just simply formal.

He released her hand, then walked away a bit, lifting up a hand and waving politely. "Until we meet again!"
