Libra saw Wolframite reaching for the jumprope, but Europa tackled him. Moving fast, she attempted to reach the jumprope while he was distracted with Europa, and she bit her lip, thinking. If she could reach the jumprope, they could use it to tie him up, if not, Libra could use her scales, though whether she'd get them back the next time she henshined up was another question. Her whole outfit vanished when she became Giselle, so she assumed she would, but she had never left the scales behind before. The jumprope would be less risky.
It would be, like everything on this patrol had been so far, a gamble.
"Europa!" she ordered, "Try to pin him down!" She didn't know if she would obey, but Europa had shown a cool head in battle so far- If she didn't, maybe she had a different (Libra always hesitated to say 'better') plan.

Unfortunately for Europa, she had just been punched by someone half her size but with twice as much combat training. The result being right about equal, it had hurt a good deal, but she hadn't gone down. He'd caught her in the hip, which sent her staggering backwards, but if they could keep him down then-
A quick glance at Libra who was making her way towards the jump rope, and Europa thought she knew what the other senshi was up to. Right. Made sense. She had a plan now and she was sticking to it. Europa, try to pin him down!
Can do, boss.
Europa gritted her teeth and struggled to keep him from getting to his feet.
"Europa deep ocean pressure," she grunted, but there was no juice. She couldn't use it again. Bummer.
She redoubled her efforts, her forearms taking quite a beating as she tried to pin him down.

The moment he heard her say those words again, he wanted to scream. If he had to get slowed down again, he was more than screwed. He was ********! The only luck he had was that there had been nothing of the same sensation as before and each punch he was delivering to get her off of him, to try and grab her shoulders to throw her off or ram her head, was all going at the same speed as the girl was using to keep him down. All his experience was being combated by the girl’s size and the damage he’d already been dealt. Two head blows, one from the scales and one from the impact to the wall, were making his vision fuzzy around the edges. It didn’t help that blood was dripping down his cheek and making large droplets spill down his chin and onto his clothes.
“Get off me, you stupid cu-!”
BAM!
A full punch to the face. The count was now up to 3, and he could feel her knuckle break into his face, pushing back his nose and pain bursting directly in his face. Disoriented, his hands were pinned down as he was straddled. The slice of night sky was swirling around his head before falling down to the tilted view of two black and white shoes clacking their way over. The familiar brown handles of his weapon dangled off the ********. ********. ********. ********. ********> They were NOT touching HIS weapon. HIS WEAPON was not in HER hands!
He lunged forward again to throw the other girl off, but went back down as the senshi pushed him back, her grip clenching around his arms. This close, he could make out her face, and sneered back at her with moss-green eyes. “Get- Off – ME!”

Libra rushed in with the jumprope as the Negaverser went down, binding him with the weapon. She silently thanked the heavens that her father had taught her how to tie knots like an 1800's sailor, trying to remember the steps was no harder than recalling a particularly obscure fact about American shipping during World War I.
Stepping back, she eyed the Negaverse agent, demanding, "Who are you, then?" He wasn't one of the few she had seen or heard about at Barren Pines, which was lucky for him. He was small, very small now that she saw him tied up, and for a moment, she felt a twist of guilt in her stomach. This hadn't been a fair fight.
He attacked you first. Fair makes no difference when he's jumping at you from a rooftop! she reminded herself. Gentlemen didn't win wars.

Europa stepped back and watched Libra do her thing, silently noting that she'd need to get her to teach her that sometime - knot tying could be a very useful skill. She rubbed at her hip, which would probably be bruised tomorrow in a way that would be hard to explain at swim practice, and stared at their opponent.
Tied down, he didn't seem so fierce. It was like she'd just beaten up Pavel's more somber-colored twin. (She tried not to imagine this as being the case, and grimaced from the effort.)
And now that they'd gotten him, what would they do with him? She pondered the idea for a moment, and then smirked. "Hey, Libra, let's run him up the flagpole in the square as a warning to the rest of his lot."
As Tallulah she would have never suggested it, but she'd been dying to try it forever and ever.

The two girls worked around him, grabbing his arms and turning him to tie a knot at his back, working to retrain any free limbs that might be thrown at them. Once they tugged the bonds and made sure he wasn’t going anywhere, they stepped back. Feeling like a calf tied up at the rodeo, he could do nothing but glare up at them, head resting on the ground as watched the pair. What he expected was the fight to continue. Just because he was tied up didn’t mean they couldn’t get a few more kicks to the stomach in, but he didn’t see how it could get worse than this. Beaten up and then tied with his own jump rope was an insult that even he, not that long in the Lieutenant business, could feel a great deal of shame about.
Winded, they all seemed to lapse into a moment of silence before he was asked who he was in the first place. Wasn’t it obvious who he was?! “Wolframite. Lieutenant, if you couldn’t guess that.” Stewing in his own defeat, he didn’t give the girls a tone that didn’t otherwise spell When I see you two again, I will get you back for this. “Who the hell are you two?” Usually he didn’t swear so much. Growing up with a swear jar at home, he didn’t get into the habit. Not unless he was in a fight. Words like ‘stupid-face’ and ‘butt-head’ just didn’t match up to the power and intense hatred that swear words delivered. That verbal punch.
While they were making introductions, he also wondered what would happen to him. More beating, left in the alleyway, or just killed? To what extent did the senshi go?
The suggestion of the flagpole made him sputter. “WHAT?!”
It seemed they went to something far worse than death. All out humiliation.

"Wolframite." Libra said, committing it to memory. As he asked him who she was, she said "You're hardly in a position to be questioning me," but answered with "Sailor Libra, Zodiac senshi of balance," anyway. He deserved to know at least something, if only to make her feel like the fight was more fair after all. It would have been better if she hadn't known that is was historically inaccurate to assume that Napoleon was short. Then she could have pretended Wolframite was Napoleon.
As she listened to Europa, she considered her proposition. It would be good to send out a firm message, and sending Wolframite up a flagpole would certainly leave an impact. "Excellent idea,. Good use of resources," she commended Europa. "I suggest the one over by the post office, it's not too far from here. Shall I lead the way?"

"Sailor Europa, Senshi of the Deep," said Europa, nodding as she input her two cents. Although it nagged her that Wolframite might go blabbing to his superiors about what they'd done to him, Libra had seemed confident enough in spilling the beans. She made a mental note to ask Libra about what a 'Zodiac Senshi' was later. Maybe it had something to do with the fancy-shmancy fuku.
Europa hoisted the captive Lieutenant by his collar. "After you," she agreed. "Good call."

Picking him up too little effort, which only aggravated Wolframite more as he was hoisted up by the back of his collar, making a mess of the bow at his side, and started to carry him off as if he was a bag of trash to be taken outside. That or a kitten. Either one didn’t suit him. For all that transforming into a Lieutenant made him stronger and quicker, Wolframite weighed just the same as Laodn Shepard did, which wasn’t much at all.
Not able to do much but watch the sidewalk roll back his legs, he gravely rose up to see the flag pole that was their destination. Out of all he had gone through, being rung up a flag pole had never been on his list of ‘Crap that’s happened to me’, and he never thought that tonight would be the day to add it.
The next time I find you two, I will kill you. It was running through his mind, but he kept his mouth closed. Like Libra said, he wasn’t in any position to start saying something like that. If they didn’t already knew, they would turn around and end the job here. Fight another day, and fight he would. This was not the end. They would meet again.
“When you hoist me up, how about you two just go and kiss my a** while you’re at it!” Okay, so much for keeping his mouth shut.

Libra raised an eyebrow. "Witty." she said dryly as she attached him to the flagpole. "Did you think that one up all by yourself?" If there was one thing she sneered at, it was the kind of dopey moron who couldn't think of anything better than vulgarities to spew at their enemies.
"Would you like to do the honours?" she asked Europa. "It was your idea, after all." She stepped aside and eyed Wolframite, frowning. "For your sake, I hope someone finds you soon. If not, this is going to be the longest night of your life."

"Thank you, Sailor Libra," said Europa, nodding genially to her companion. At this point it had all become some sort of pageant, where there seriousness of the fight had faded away and this was just two girls having fun. If he hadn't tried to attack them earlier, she'd probably have felt like a bully, but all things considered...
Europa grabbed the chain and pulled. "Heave!" she called jovially, her senshi strength making it fairly simple to hoist the petite lieutenant up into the air. when the pulley resisted, she stepped back and surveyed their work.
"I think this might just be our masterpiece, Sailor Libra," she smirked. "What do you think?"

He frowned back at her, not at all pleased with her comeback either. “Maybe if I had some forewarning, I would have prepared a speech.” Wolfram wasn’t in the mood for being considered cleaver. Right now, he could care less about anyone. His life, at the point he felt the ropes tug up as he moved, absolutely, the fullest power, sucked. Lieutenant of the Negaverse and he was tied up to a flag pole. This was not the way he planned on raising up in rank. Not only that, and this is where he gave a deep swallow, he didn’t really like being high up. It was why he had kept to the low roofs after all.
Dangling helplessly to the top of the pole, he looked down at the two senshi who were taking in their victory. Maybe if they stayed there long enough, he’d throw up. The jostling about from the rope was making him feel a bit nauseous, but now he worried if the ropes would give way and drop him down to the ground. Being up or falling down were both unpleasant thoughts.
Sighing, he bowed his head, getting ready for one of the longest nights of his life.

Libra looked back at Wolframite, did he have to sigh? The Germans didn't sigh in her textbooks at Versailles, and it wasn't exactly helping her feel better about the whole affair. "You brought this upon yourself." she reprimanded him, to make herself feel better about the affair. She was a sailor solider, she couldn't let herself become a pushover. She had to hold the line.
And this was better than trying to kill him. Despite Libra's memories at the back of her skull, she didn't feel ready to kill anything yet. Real life deaths were different from the ones in her documentaries and books.
Looking over to Europa, she felt the overwhelming urge to be elsewhere. "It's lovely," she replied smoothly, and guilt aside, she had to admit that the strategies had worked out like a dream. Their teamwork had been flawless, and it gave Libra the sort of satisfaction that a well-executed project might. "Are you at all hungry? We could find a place that's still open this late," she glanced up at Wolframite, "Away from here." Though he was securely tied, she'd rather discuss relocating out of earshot of a Negaverse lieutenant.

"I think that Apollo's is still open this time of night," said Europa. Patrol was definitely a way to work up an appetite, especially if you found some action. Tonight had been flawless, of course, especially considering they'd been total strangers two hours ago.
Europa looked up at Wolframite again. He was looking awfully pitiful up there, but she couldn't let a job well done go to waste by letting him down now. "Apollo's it is," she said to Libra, and waved to their makeshift banner. "Good night, Lieutenant!"
A job well done deserved a treat. "Let's go," she said, motioning for Libra to follow her.
