Labyrinth Shredder Just get a speedloader trem xd That's a whole other "ball of wax". I've already got a Floyd so I'd either have to buy a new guitar or figure some way to get a speedloader on my current guitar. I don't really like the first idea since this guitar is new in the first place, and the latter I wouldn't want to do for pretty much the same reason.

My original review wasn't that good so I guess I'll do another one. This is my review of my Alvarez Dana Scoop.
Sound The stock pickups are dana pickups and they are awesome. They should be used mostly for metal, but you could try to pull off country or blues. The layout is Humbucker-Single Coil. There is a scoop right under the neck, where the other single coil would have been. I play mostly metal, so these pickups are great for my style.
Durabilty/Reliability Its built like a rock. Whenever people see my guitar, they think that it would snap like a twig. But no, it's very solidly built. Its a bolt-on guitar, but it doesn't have a neck plate like most other bolt-ons. The neck joint it really thick, so it has a less chance of breaking. It's very lightweight, which is a good thing.
Customer Support I haven't had to deal with them, but I would guess they would be of good help, even though they stopped making these guitars years ago.
Action, Fit , Finish When I got it, the action was very low, with absolutely no fret buzz. Even with thicker string gauges and dropped tuning, it doesn't buzz. The guitar is really small and lightweight. The finish is great and can take a good beating. The only scratches I could find were pick scratches and a couple of tiny dents on the back of the guitar, but overall its in mint condition.
Features The humbucker is an active, and it sounds great. Other things are the really cool scoop design. Its great for shredding. It holds tune very well, but its kind of a hassle having to mess with the springs for drop tuning. The Floyd Rose is awesome, I'll never go back to standard tremolos again. The neck single coil is kind of muddy, but I don't do a lot of solos so it works out for me.
Pros, and Cons Pros: Great for tremolo bends and tricks. Awesome for shredding and soloing. Durable, and lightweight. Sounds great.
Cons: If you've never had a floyd rose (me) it will be pretty confusing. Not really that good for drop tuning. Might have to search on ebay for it, Alvarez discontinued this series.
Overall This guitar is one of the best guitars I have ever layed my hands on and have had the joy of playing. This guitar will be my main guitar for a long time.
Sound 9/10 Durability/Reliability 9.5/10 Customer Support 9/10 Action, Fit, Finish 10/10 Features 9.5/10 Overall 10/10
Total 57/60

But yeah its possible to put a speedloader tremolo on your current guitar, it just sucks that you'll have holes where the tuners were, and you have to do some cutting, to seat the new trem.

the issue iwth the original floyd. When you bend, it still goes out of tune, and when you mute, the strings still go sharp. When you break astring, the rest still go out of tune. Thats what the tremsetter's for....

Thats what the tremsetter's for.... I think i'm just strange, but I actually love having to go through hell to get my guitar tuned. I feel so much better knowing that its perfect. Your right though, I can't really palm mute really good with the floyd rose, but I don't really palm mute a lot. Other than that, its great.

Epiphone G400 (Their upper-middle o'the line SG)
This is the first guitar I have ever owned, and I really like it. Authorized by Gibson, it's worth the money. I paid 275 for mine used (it was only a year old, looked brand new) and it looks like a beast. The neck is set, and it feels very solid, though not good for shredding. The humbuckers are very decent for the price, but I have yet to hear the extent of what they can do...I have a mediocre amp, a Kustom somethingorother that was 100 dollars...it was all that I could afford. Anyway, the guitar sounds great with distortion, awesome for hard rock like AC/DC and punk, and is not bad clean, but it could be better. The only qualm I have with it is the weight. It's light, but very top heavy because of where the strap fits. If you take your hand off the neck it slides down to your ankles, and if you don't have strap locks, that's not cool. Overall, I love this guitar, and for the price, it's a steal! The trapazoid inlays look fantastic, and it has steel tuners so it doesn't look cheesy. I'd give this guitar an 8.5/10!

I assume the pin for the strap is on the end of the guitar horn? Actually, that is a problem i dont know why they didnt address on a lot of guitars, even with that style. They say if the knob for the strap is actually on the back of the body it will stay up (A La the tony iommi ones or what ESP did with their EC guitars)

With how small the body is its a bit top heavy, and the only way to fix it without screwing up the body design would be put it on the back of the neck, because the pin cant go on the upper horn.

Im guissing i can review amps, eh?
Make/Model: Behringer V-Tone GM108
Specs:10/10 It's a 15w modeling amp with an 8" speaker and 27 classic sound settings.
Features: 9/10 Its got 3 classic amplifier settings (Tweed/Fender, British/Marshall, and California/Mesa Boogie); 3 Gain modes (clean, High gain, and Hot); and 3 speaker simulation models (Flat, U.K., and U.S.)
Sound:8/10 Its got a pretty good sound for the price i suppose, the hi gain setting with the British amp setting gives you a nice warm Marshall sound when you roll back on the Drive. The volume is decent for its size, but it bottoms out on the low end easily, and you cant get any kind of tone out of it trying to play too soft. Nice open-back cabinet. Overall a great sound for the price and size.
Durability/Reliability: 10/10 Durable sucker, ive had it not even a month and ive dropped it a good number of times, and it just keeps on tickin. Pretty solid plastic contruction and durable knobs, not a problem thus far.
Customer Support: ? Havn't had to call them, but i would guess such a big name would have decent Customer Support, yeah? Features: 9/10 Named above... 27 different sound combinations, 3 band EQ (low-mid-hi), Drive knob, CD input, headphone jack, master volume. open back cab.
Pros: A ton of different distortion sounds for such a cheap amp, all of which sound great considering. Its basically a much more simplified version of Behringer's much more expensive modeling amps. Solid construction. Great deal for 65 bucks!
Cons: Not enough volume for anything but practice (but hey, its a practice amp!)
Overall Rating: 10/10 This is a great amp if your looking for a practice amp, or are just interested in your first electric and your on a budget. 70 bucks will buy you this baby, and it will last you as long as you need it to!

That, like i said, can probably be fixed , like ESP Did by putting the pin for the strap behind the upper horn on the guitar. Gibson either puts it on the back near the neck or on the horn's tip/.

New York Pro NY 355 Clone
Sound 9 It sounds great with my style, it's a very tone rich guitar and clean or dirty it sounds good and full. It's not noisy. Overall a bright sound, great for rock. The only thing. The pickup is decent.. Overall I play rock and it sounds great through a Boss Dual Over Drive pedal. The acoustic kicks my dad's Guild and my friends Takamine. I feel I ripped off the store. Durability/Reliability 7 I wouldn't take it to live concerts. It wouldn't stand it. But hey since it was so cheap why not. Only paid $220 for it. Customer Support 5 There was no manufacturing warranty but I got a store one for two years. When it breaks no need to fix it but I just want it for the pickup. Action, Fit, Finish 9 Just the strings should be changed. The guitar setup was accually perfect, I haven't had to get it set up or adjusted at all. There weren't any flaws. Features 10 I bought this guitar in the summer of 2002, this is almost an exact copy of Fender's Telecaster. This guitar has a natural acoustic color, which is very nice looking. This guitar looks alot more expensive than it was. It has a nice pickup for my needs.
Overall Rating 8 I may only be a beginner, but this is a great guitar to have in your house to play with. You get a real good deal.

i'm gonna review my first guitar ever... Bronze Series BC Rich Warlock
Sound when i got it i was expecting to sound like Mick Thompson (7) from slipknot right away. it was already in Drop D tuning right out of the box. i just didn't have an amp yet, and wouldn't for few more months. but when i plugged into a 10 watt Quintus amp i got at a german music store for 60 euros (about $50 at the time), i turned up my overdrive and loved the distortion. i never had problems with the sound quality of my warlock. and the volume and tone Knobs were right by my picking hand in easy reach. allowing me to adjust when ever i needed to.
Durabilty/Reliability i've had this guitar for 2 years now and th only think thats happend to it is a small chip of paint came off a corner. the neck is fully adjustable and so are the Picku-ups. i still like to tweak with them once in a while trying to get the perfect sound.
Customer Support havn't had to talk with them, and i prefer to keep it that way.
Action, Fit , Finish the guitar feels heavy to someone who is used to a lighter guitar. i like this because it doesn't swing as much as lighter guitars do. if you've ever watched how mick plays when when he's hunched over, you'll see the design fits perfectly between your legs giving it a that 45 degree angle so you can still play while "headbanging" on stage.
Overall Though i still look for other instruments to play, my warlock will allways be my baby and remain in my possesion till the day i day. there is no one in the wolrd that can convince me my warlock is "trash". i just need to find a decent amp to express "her voice" with now.
