 (Hi everyone, I hope you don't mind my joining in on the fun) Aurora was walking through the woods looking for flowers to give to her mom and dad when she heard two young foxes talking to what sounded like an adult fox. Very quietly she crept up behind a tree to see what was going on. Carefully Aurora poked her head through a group of tall grass near the tree and listened carefully.

she sniffed the air as another sent pasted by it smelled like another fox ' i wonder if it one of their parents?' "hello? who's there? you can come out we wont hurt you."

Slowly moving closer to Sweetpea away from the scent of the other fox she said "no...I am by myself..."

Hearing the voice of an adult female fox, and noticing that it was soft and gentle, Aurora crept out of the grass.
"Hi.." Aurora said shyly.

"hello" she said aloud but in her mind she wqas thinking o wow another kit by itself?where arae there paerents?why have they left them alone?"what is you name little one?" she smiled as she spoke.

Who was this fox and why were these foxes all here she wondered.

"you dont need to call me Miss, Sweat pea will be fine." she told the yound kit a little surprised at the term miss she had never been called Miss.

Mako perked up instantly looking to the two other foxes now joining thier growing group. What fun! With a small flick of her tail she spoke up. "I am Mako, Sweet Pea isn't our momma! My mother is out from our den right now.". Bouncing on her paws excitedly, for she had never been around any other foxes Mako found herself unwilling to sit still. Now maybe she could have friends? Not that the sweet little fox did not love her siblings but, they could get so frustrating!

Aurora turned towards Mako when she heard her voice.
"Hi Mako, nice to meet you"
"My parents are sleeping with my two sister, so I decided to go for a walk and explore"
"I didn't know that Sweet Pea wasn't your mom"
"Do you want to play together? Maybe we can become friends!"
Aurora giggled with excitement.

as she went to answer Mako cut in and she shut her mouth. and watched. she did love kits though and this is why. they were so unpredictable. " i hope you do become friends" she said with a smile ear to ear.

Now hopping a bit more noticeably Mako nodded grinning brightly. "Yes! We can be friends! You will be my first new friend ever!" With a happy wiggle of her whole tiny body Mako lightly tapped Aurora darting off with a yip. "Tag! Your it Aurora! Phoenix play with us too won't you?" The once quiet kit found herself bubbling over with glee..all her darker thoughts and memories of her father floated away.

"Your my first friend ever too!" Aurora smiled back. Laughing she jumped to her feet and chased after Mako and nearly tripped over her paws. "Come on Phoenix!" Aurora tagged Phoenix and darted after Mako. "Tag, your it Phoenix!"
Aurora was having the time of her life.
"Do you want to play with us Sweet Pea?" Aurora called as she darted behind a tree.
