"Well, that makes two of us. No lady-does here either," she replied with an oh-so-innocent smile, looking everywhere but at the buck before her. Shiver's cheeks took on a faint tinge of pink, otherwise marring her white coat.
"So... Um..." A faint cough as she once more ducked her head to eat, hoping to prevent her from putting her hoof in her mouth by filling it with berries instead. Was she flirting? Is that what this was? Caress-of-Breeze was so very inexperienced with this. Where had she gotten the gumption to actually... lick him? Lost in thought, she failed to pay attention to the berries properly and popped another one. A splat of juice landed on them both.
Shiver couldn't help but giggle. "Sorry. Here..." She licked it off his shoulder scale with another laugh. "I'm not usually this messy. At least, I try and keep it to myself." She rolled her eye to her side, trying to see where she'd been hit, turning backwards in a circle, almost like a foxbun chasing it's tail. 'Cause obviously... This would be helpful and let her see places she couldn't see. Somehow.

Eternal Scale chuckled nervously while thinking. He had once or twice imagined such a scenario where he would attempt to woo a doe. But when he finally needed the suave words he so effortlessly spoke in his dreams, they were nowhere to be found. Another splatter of berry juice, another lick. His cheeks burned at her touch. He watched her circle around and dared to try, return the favor if you will. He stood, then moved to her flank as she turned and licked off the berry juice that she couldn't quite reach. It still left a pale pink stain on her pelt, but a good bath would remove it in no time. She was such a sweet doe..And he thought aloud.
"You'd make a wonderful mother." And almost immediately stuttered, "I-I mean..uh..you know..t-to any buck you'd want..or...s-something.." And he fixated his eyes on his hooves, pacing in place, wondering how he'd get out of this mess he made.

She froze. Mother? Her? ... She'd always heard the creating part could be fun, but the afterwards part... Shiver stared at the temporary pink portion on her hide. Babies. Well... babies.
Ah, to the wind with cares. She was simple and beautiful, and he was amazing and handsome. Why not? The worse that would happen would be that they got a little dirty and stained with berry juice, and had some fun. Or maybe that would be the best that would happen.
Shiver pressed gently against his side, careful to avoid his moving hooves. "Is that an offer, sir?" She gazed at him through lowered eyelashes, trying to use the tricks she'd learned from other does. Perhaps he'd be fun to have a tumble with.

Thinking. She was thinking. and silent. It felt like an eternity as he pressed his lips shut to prevent any more foolish words from escaping.
"I...s-supposed it is..an offer..if..you'd be willing..." he said, gazing into her come-hither eyes. This part felt like his dreams. He moved his head closer and nuzzled her cheek gently. This wasn't so bad. Everything was falling into place...He could do this..Yeah he could do this..

Caress-of-Breeze laughed low, nipped softly at his flank and led the way to a secluded place she knew of where they could have some uninterrupted privacy. "Well..." Shiver yawned, but smiled. "That was fun. What next?" Her mind went along the lines of a dip in a stream to wash the berry juice and other dirt off.

Eternal Scale chuckled and sighed contentedly. It was fun. And he nodded in response. What were they to do now? He hadn't the slightest clue. Was he going to be a father now? Was he ready? Well ready or not, he was going to have to raise them, right? Or were they going to wander off and live lives unknown to him? He couldn't tell. For the moment he sat wondering wistfully of the future..

Streaked Sky picked her way through the swamp. She had just been sent a vision from the motherfather (one of many, lately) and this one had been the most concrete to act upon. Be there, or be square, was essentially the message, and luckily she recognized the area in the swamp. It had some particularly reflective pools around it, and when the Wind Chasers had gone through there in times past she had stayed over long to gaze.
The spot was getting closer, and she distinctly heard the sounds of kimeti. There was a doe talking, and another kimeti, though she was unsure of gender at this point. She had a feeling about what the motherfather wanted of her, and thankfully those pools were nearby for later!
To try and sneak up on the pair, she shifted to a bird form to fly in front of them. She flew over them specifically so they could gaze upon her beauty as a bird, and then she'd walk out as a kimeti, and they would have seen the two most beautiful things in the swamp! They were sooo lucky!
Comet was over and in front of the kimeti, quick as a lark and back as a doe. Quieting her heart, she stepped into the clearing, almost ethereal in effect. She added in a husky voice (for effect!) , "I have been sent here by the Motherfather, if you will have me."

Their privacy was displaced, and Shiver blinked quickly. What a pretty birdy.... But then it was gone almost as quickly as it had come. She frowned, sad. Her gaze flickered back to the mare. "Pardon, but what do you mean? You're very beautiful and I don't think you mean what I think you mean...."

Eternal Scale watched as the vibrant bird flickered here and there with graceful agility. True, it wasn't a reptile, but he still sat there and watched it in amazement. Then he saw the doe, identical to the bird that seemed to have disappeared, if not in size and shape. Marveled, the buck's jaw dropped slightly ajar. Was she a legendary? A true legendary? Today was so full of new things! A new friend, a new experience, and a new sight? He may not have replenished his collection as he had originally hoped, but this was better.
Thinking back to the stories he'd heard about legendary kimeti, he recalled that it is possible for them to bless expecting mothers. Smiling, he whispered to Shiver, "I think...she can bless you and your future children!" he said, excited for the fact.

Comet really needed to stop using her official talk and revert back to kimeti talk because this was the umpteenth time she had been misunderstood. Then again, she generally chatted with other birds so that could have something to do with it. Also almost anything in the swamp would be dumbfounded by her beauty! That must be it. She should take pity on the poor expecting doe and the supposed father.
"Erm, well..." she wasn't good at this responding to silly questions things. Maybe she could get a coach or something.
"Um, yes, the buck is right. I can bless you and the larvae in your belly, since obviously the Motherfather wants me to."
