His ears flicked and his left foot twitched. Why this occurred he didn't know. Perhaps something she said was conflicting to him, or at least to his body.

"I could always want more, but the fact of the matter is,I had it all, and I lost it with a single mistake. I dare not risk what very little I have, even if it is for something as inviting as pleasure." he said calmly. His slight anger had subsided, even though it was more frustration than anything else

Lost it all with just one mistake? A brow raised on the tiger demon's face as this caught her attention, tail flicking back and forth rapidly. What could it have been....the thought nagged at her mind. Before she could even think otherwise, she'd scaled the distance between them silently and swiftly; although she was sure he was able to hear her.

Standing more or less at his side before crouching down, her head tilted as she watched his face carefully. Corosina was well aware of that infamous curiosity killed the cat, but hell, she'd died once and it wasn't so bad. "Just one?" Her long ears flicked forward, not really expecting him to open up to a stranger, but it didn't hurt to hope right?

"One can only imagine what you did to lose it all....was it over pleasure then?"

The elite was not thrilled in her sudden curiosity, and he wasn't about to give her details over something she would never understand. "Yes, one mistake, and no. It was not" he stated blatantly. It was answering her questions, just not in a very detailed manor.

Again he tried to coerce his feet to take him away, but they stayed behind while his mind walked back into the woods and realized the rest wasn't following him. Then he caught himself stuck in a momentary lapse of day dreaming about leaving. Oh how starvation was toying with him

Hmph! Well there ruined her entertaining thought, but no matter...pulling back and standing close to the alien she put her paws back on the ground and popped her legs back into her quad positioning. Rolling her back and shoulders to feel a few more cracks from her settling joints, she padded down to the lake and stepped back into the chilled but otherwise pleasant waters.

"Do you fish?" Corosina asked, figuring if he left then she'd just be talking to herself which was nothing new either. Treading a little deeper, she knew the trout in the lakes were still slow from the last grasps of winter; and easier to catch than a spooked doe.

At least one of them could get their prey, and hell, fish were a lot easier than finding lust on a night like tonight anyways.

the heavy head snaked it's way to look over his shoulder. Fish? Of all the things out there, why fish? Sure it was an easy meal but was it worth the trouble in the end? he sighed and figured he really did have no choice. Although fish was far from his favorite food, it was still better than going hungry...again.

"I can't say I make a habit of it" he stated as he stood and turned. Again he scolded his feet for not listening to him, but they were tired, and a full belly and rest was the only thing they cared about. But even the alien feet stopped at the water's edge, daring not to even put a toe in the clear water

Ah, Bingo. So the brute was really that hungry then, keeping her expression stoic she watched the lumbering male tread to the water's edge but dare not go farther. Could he swim? That armor certainly wouldn't give him an advantage at all; yet that didn't seem to bother the vixen as she turned back to the water.

"Don't worry sugar, its not acid or anything..." She purred and with a few bounds into the water she dove down into the dark abyss. Using her wings as fantastic leverage in the water she felt a fish bump into her snout and quickly bit down on the poor thing, folding her wings back and kicking to the surface.

Breaking out of the depths she inhaled deeply before paddling back to where her paws could touch and walked back to the beach to drop the fish infront of her; wondering if Arbiter would try or not.

The Elite's gaze was focused on the rippling water. All to well did his mind remember the methods of torture used by his once believed allies. Only the worst had water involved. He also knew well that he was not a good swimmer to begin with. Something that the armor would surely take advantage of. He sat at the edge of the water, not even allowing the few small waves to touch his feet.

When the 'companion' breached the water's surface, his eyes darted towards her, particularly what was in her mouth. He didn't want it, so he tried to look like he didn't, even if his stomach pleaded for something

Hmmmm, not even a retort. Preparing to take her fish and leave, that increasingly annoying nag in the back of her mind felt something...awful. as if she felt a tad, minuscule amount of guilt for keeping the elite when he could have been searching for game or something. It also appeared by his stiff posture he would not, or could not fish....and inwardly sighing to herself she turned back to the water and dove in without a word.

Down longer this time, almost too long; she finally broke the water with a louder gasp, her ears ringing from the depth as she dragged what seemed to be a quite large fish from the water onto the shore. Dropping it onto the sand she looked between the Sturgeon and the Trout, while she enjoyed both; she wasn't that hungry and snatched the trout silently and walked a few paces away to lay with her back to him.

Weather he ate it or not wasn't of concern, but it shut that guilt baring nag and thus satisfied she began to rip apart the fish to eat.

Silent still, the elite watched the odd creature venture yet again into the water. This time she took a bit longer and he wondered if he should be concerned, but soon she broke the surface and all worries were...what the heck did she have now?

To him it was probably one of the biggest fish he had seen since he'd last been to the home world. It was massive for him and he watched as she plopped it on the ground and attacked the much smaller fish. It was obvious to him that she was clueless on his taste for fish. he didn't want to be rude, but looking at the flailing creature nearby he didn't want to so much as touch it with his fangs.

But wait? He heard a rustle. His eyes narrowed and his warrior brain told his suit to hide him, and just like that he disappeared, leaving only footprints on the lake shore. Soon those footprints multiplied as they headed towards the disturbance in the treeline. A cry in the night. It wasn't a huge success, but it was better than fish.

The elite came out of the wood to eat his meal in peace, forgetting about the female for obvious reasons. The rabbit he caught was large, but to him just a mere snack

Sliding her gaze from her feast to the movement of the beast, the femme raised a brow and watched him semi return with a mere rabbit as he settled down to eat. Scoffing in her mind, she shook her head and couldn't understand this one's mannerisms. The desire to be satisfied in more than one way was far too strong even in her ideals of eating. She's much rather feast on something not as appetizing to be full longer than to keep hungering after something a little more tastier. Then again, not everyone was the same she supposed.

Finishing her feast, she flicked her tail on the sands while observing and once he seemed to be finished she once more piped up. "Does someone like your or, your kind...have enemies?" It was more of a curious inclination, having taken note on his armor and sheer bulk; it was obvious he hadn't originated here and wondered if he was the top of the food chain wherever he came from.

having finished swallowing his prey, he clacked his jaws together to clean them of any lingering fur or blood, but his morsel didn't lead him with that small pleasure. He stood and stretched his fore limbs out in front of him wearily. His yellow eyes fixed on the strange demon, forcing back a glare.

"My kind used to be enemies with humans, but then things changed I suppose and now my kind side with humans, but there are those who oppose. It's a big mess of a feud that I shan't understand anytime soon" he spoke with a soft growl. He wasn't angry with her, it was more so the subject that upset him. Had he been more careful with a past human experience, he wouldn't have been in this mess. No one would

Extending her claws with pleasure, the demoness stretched out her back legs before curling them tight against her side. Her tail thudded lightly on the ground as acid green orbs remained locked on the Arbiter while the information he relayed to her soaked in. She'd seen many of these two legged around, and they didn't pose much of a threat in her eyes....yet she could care less about a history lesson from this brute.

Tilting her head, the gears in her mind began to shift into overdrive; a coy grin rolling over her lips momentarily but dissapeared quickly to keep her intentions shaded. "You don't sound so convinced. Someone big and strong like you and probably the rest of your species could wipe them out; could you not? Or has peace begun to make once warriors soft?" Folding her paw delicately across the other, she could smell an off scent on him....perhaps others of his kind were around somewhere too.

"Or....let me guess. You've become a family man, instead of a warrior....That would be a pitty, you look like quite the killer there sugar. Im sure you probably took out hundreds back in the day..."

Taken aback by her statements, the elite looked at her questioningly. He hadn't taken it into account before, but maybe his kind were going soft. The one's he had seen around him could only be described as weaklings. He sighed "This is probably true. While we once fierce warriors, it seems that our past aggression has faded. At least with the ones present" he sat back on his laurels and gazed momentarily before his glare snapped back to the creature with her accusations in questioning format.

"I have shirked my past. Near death experiences do that." he said with a hint of doubt in his voice. It was never quite clear to him on how he survived not only being impaled, but a planetary explosion. He remembered his ruthlessness and brash acts, but it was behind him. People changed all the time, why couldn't he?

"A shame, really. Yet its funny what diplomacy and simple little words can subdue what seems to have been a proud race." Flicking her ears back, she clawed at the dirt momentarily...but paused once he continued and matched a glare of her own. She was far from a perfect warrior, not would she ever call herself such. Hunting was her game, before and after death.

"Then you have become a kitten, what ever happened to fight until one's dying breath? Illusions of 'peace' which from the doubt in your tone sits as well as your new status. I am no warrior, yet i've already died....at least I have my pride in my calling and my nature." Rising to her paws, the feline vixen stretched out her back and snapped her tail in the air.

"I knew something was up with you when you denied pleasure, you're unwilling to even fight to regain what you've lost...accepting this controlled loss." Corosina shook her head, beside, no male in their right mind would have brushed her off like that if they hadn't been out of their mind.

His passive aggressive glare became more fueled by inner rage with each passing moment of her speaking. She obviously had no clue about what he did try to do and how his efforts were thwarted. His face twisted into an old glare that was both distinct and terrifying, but only for a moment. He was better than that. He couldn't let his anger and defiant rage be the best of him again.

He took several deep breaths before hesitantly composing his next words carefully. Even when he spoke, he suppressed his rage, but still some affected his speech patterns. "I have died to. And for what? The world to turn it's back on me once again? NO!" he paused to take a moment to calm himself again before continuing, slightly more calm. "No...My kind has abandoned me, just as I did it a long time ago. I have nothing left to fight for and I don't wish to revisit lost ideals that can never be obtained" he said with his scowl slowly returning. He deeply wondered for a moment if his glare was as deadly as it used to be. He prayed not
