She wanted to help out Adina? Riad frowned. Jivu had never met Adina, only heard what he'd told her. Was that honestly the only reason she was even considering such an option? It was a life-changing choice, did she trust him that much? Surely she was lying...he must have something to do with it. Riad's expression gave away nothing of his thoughts, merely watching her carefully with a straight face, listening.
"Clearly," he mumbled in response to her statement, glancing to the sky briefly. Was this the God's doing? Were things finally going his way for once? He looked back to Jivu, a smile on his face this time, "Well...Jivutatia, I would be happy...no, honored if you would accompany me back to the Ukuucha'Wafalme lands."

"I will, on one condition," Jivu replied with a short nod of her head. She glanced back over, towards the deeper jungle. She would miss her family, but in all honesty she hadn't been back much to see them. She'd gone to see them when her little sisters were born, but she hadn't been back since. And she'd told her mother that if they didn't see her for a while, it was because she had gotten bored of the jungle and had gone exploring, that she would be okay.
"I'll get to come back and see my family sometimes." If he said no, she would turn back then and there and not think on him again.

One condition? Riad raised an eyebrow, unable to help the small quirk of a smile that tugged at the corners of his mouth. Of course, she couldn't come quietly, willingly. This was exactly what intrigued him so much about Jivutatia, drew him towards her so much. Come back and see her family? He sighed.
"The Ukuucha'Wafalme wouldn't allow it," he stated simply, though he was smiling as he paused, before adding, "However...I'm sure I could 'escort' you on the occasional hunt further afield. It isn't uncommon for lionness' to request to hunt further than the pride borders, though they must always be escorted."

Jivu frowned, her eyes narrowed, not liking that she couldn't see her family. But then he qualified, said he could escort her on a farther trip, meaning he could take her to see them.
"I won't ask often, but you won't deny me that?" she asked, wanting to make absolutely certain that she would be able to come back and see her parents. She needed to make sure they were okay, and let them know she was, in return.

"Of course I wouldn't," he assured, moving forwards towards her, not quite realizing what he was doing until he'd already done it, standing perhaps a little closer than acquaintances should. He looked down on her, trust and concern shining in his eyes, "I'll bring you back here whenever you ask. Family are the most important thing in a creature's life."

Jivu continued watching him, a small smile taking the place of her frown. She rose a paw and pushed at his shoulder a bit.
"Then I'll come with you," she said with a nod and started walking towards the edge of the jungle and a new "world".
