acer3610 jessicaj4 Chibi_Tasogare we need at least one more person I think.... wish more people would do it crying it's sooo much fun! ((Yesh... one more person.... someone drag someone on!!! A little description would be okay ^_^ Read the first two posts =3 The theme will be posted AFTER the characters are submitted, because I don't want anyone to post any characters based off of the theme ^^ Ohh okay then Well here's my character(Pleeeeeeease forgive the lined paper T^T )  Name: Asuka Age: 19 Gender: Female Race: Human(?) Description: Asuka goes along at her own pace, and does odd jobs here and there. She doesn't have a family to go home to, so she's able to travel by herself. Her past six years, she was trained by mysterious people to become stronger, since the reason she has no family is because they all died. 'To become capable despite this tragedy' is what they told her she needed to be. Asuka is a nice girl despite this though; she likes helping people, and having fun. Also she has a pretty expensive prosthetic right leg that she keeps bandaged up, and it really hurts when she kicks someone with it. Job: Odd jobs, also does mercenary work at times if she's up to it. Weapon/Armor: She has two magic rings, one on each hand with emblems of fire on them. They're powerful, and she's able to use fire, and control a strange black metal as she pleases. She doesn't wear any type of armor, except for a light vest, and slightly padded gloves. Skills: She's good at hand to hand combat. Her lack of cooking skills can get in the way at times, and sometimes she gets a bit too hyper and can annoy people.

~Mysterious forest~
Throughout the centuries, there had always been a forest that puzzled even the wisest of the wise. The forest seemed to follow no logic. For everyone that has gone there, their compasses would spin out of control, pointing seemingly at everything. Even if electronics were brought inside, it wouldn't work. GPS, cellphones, iTouch, etc. all had no signal and only one person has ever made it alive. Now, that person wants to host an event. He sent out invitations to people that he thinks would likely suceed telling WHERE and WHEN to meet. The letters were sent to a wide variety of contestants. The letters the contestants recieved was written in a small and neat font. It said:
Dear my lovely adventurers,
I have chosen you to participate in the game, The Mysterious Forest, because I believe that your skills will enable to survive and return alive. This game, I assure you, is no joke. It will require everything you know, and every bit of luck you have, to keep yourself alive. There is NO timelimit. I have sent this letter out to others, who will be your teammates. Remember, they are assembled to help you, and guide you, not harm you. Do NOT, under any circumstances, kill or injure your teammates. Consequences will follow.
The forest is aproximatly 500 acres, and will take around a month to traverse, more if you are unlucky. I will provide you with the necessary materials. Feel free to bring other materials of your own.
Materials provided:
~ a week's worth of ration (food and water)
~ first aid kit (bandaids, bandages, needle, thread, etc.)
~ bedding (sleeping bag)
~ 2 sets of spare clothing (shirt and pants)
~ 1 extra pair of shoes (boots)
~ matches
~ machete
~ flare
~ 2 healing stones (1 time use for severe injuries only, can even heal fatal wounds as long as person is still alive)
Object of the game:
~ make it to the other side of the forest, alive
~ keep your teammates alive
~ keep yourself safe
~ work together with teammates
When: Twilight
Where: In front of the warehouse located at the souther tip of the forest
I bid you guys farewell and good luck.

Matsuri looked down at the letter in her hand. She had been sitting on the roof looking at the clouds with half glazed eyes, when a bird popped into her field of vision and landed on her head.
"Pbbbbt", spluttered Matsuri, "G-get off you fat bird!"
She frantically waved her hands around trying to get the bird off of her face. At long last, she succeeded. The bird jumped off to the side and held out it's leg. Rubbing the tears out of her eyes, Matsuri quickly untied the letter that was written to her.

She looked at the letter and stared. This was insane, she had been an assassin for her whole entire life, and never once, did she even dare enter the Mysterious Forest. While she was gathering information, several times she had heard about it. People have nicknamed it Forest of Death, Earth's Hell, and others. She shivered at the thought of going near that forest. All the same, her blood pumped through her body, humming at the aspect of adventure. Slowly, she tucked away her letter and rose up to stretch. Then, she glanced at the sun. There was still around three hours to twilight, three hours to pack and travel... to the Mysterious Forest.

Gently humming a tune to herself while walking along the faint path in the woods, Brella looked and felt more livelier then she could remember. Though it has only been three days since she had left her little town of Riverdeep for a solo adventure into the great wide world, the feeling of accomplishment of putting ones wit against the elements and actually “living” was so overwhelming at times it was almost deemed as nothing more than a lovely dream. As she looked up at the twilight sky, a small flock of birds flew overhead but something strange was fluttering downwards to her
“ is… is that paper?” Bre exclaimed as snatched it out of thin air and carefully looked at it. “how odd… it’s not addressed to anyone except to ..”

Bre smiled to herself as she read the letter over again just to make sure it wasn’t a cruel prank and smiled even wider at the prospect of a new adventure.
“Don’t have much time to get there” she mumbled to no one in particular as she stuffed the letter in her pocket. “mysterious forest, here I come!”
