Penguin smiled a bit. "Well, I'm sure many of the rules here would come across as simple common sense. My costumers are priority, so you must be respectful and polite with them. Take their orders and try to be helpful. Keep yourself well groomed." he started, looking through her papers a bit.

My...he had quite a few outfits he wouldn't mind her trying on. Still...see what she could do well first, then perhaps he could move her up in the ranks a bit.

"I'll have you shadow one of our other waitresses for today so that you can get a bit of hands on training. Much easier to remember what is expected when you do them rather than listening to what's expected." he continued as he looked back up at her. "There are a few things you shouldn't do, but I doubt any such thing will come up today."

Penguin nodded and slid out from the seat. "Very well. I'll show you to one of the backrooms where you can try on a few of our outfits. Once we have you in one that's suitable, I'll have one of the girls show you around. I'm afraid I have other business to see to before the night's through, otherwise I'd help you get better acquainted with what to do."

Penguin kept a small smirk on his face as he led her towards the back. A guard stood near the door, mostly to make sure no one walked in on any of the girls, and opened the door to let the two inside.
Once inside, Penguin led her down the small hallway towards a room on the end. He opened the door and stepped inside to hold the door open for Starfire.

Inside, a woman was organizing some of the outfits that were hanging up. She turned once she heard the door opened and watched the two walk in.

"Miss Igna, please help Miss Ander find something fitting to wear. Her measurements are in here." Penguin said, holding the folder out towards the woman.

The woman took the file, skimmed through it, then looked up at Starfire with a small smile. "Alright, I think I have a few different outfits in these sizes. Come with me behind the curtain over here and we'll have you try some on."

Penguin again tried hard not to let his smile grow to anything that was more than friendly.
He was most certainly going to enjoy having her around the Lounge. He was really starting to hope that her background check would be clean once it was checked later. Such a shame if she turned out to be an undercover of some sort. But...he couldn't have any of those snooping around his business.

"It's perfect." he replied.

Penguin couldn't help but to let his smile grow this time. How could he?

"Ah, yes, well...I'm very pleased that you decided to work here." he replied, trying to keep his eyes fixed on her face rather than the number of other places they could be fixed on at the moment.
"Is there anything else you need before I send you out with one of the other girls?" he continued, trying to keep his mind on what was going on.
He had a meeting to get to, damn it.

"Very well then." Penguin replied, smiling a bit at the new shade of red in her cheeks. He was definitely going to like having her around. Hopefully she'd do very well here. He'd love to give her a bit of a promotion.
"If you'll follow me, I'll take you to one of the other waitresses and you can shadow her for a little while." he continued, turning to lead her back out of the back and into the Lounge again.

Edel stepped out of the yellow cab as gracefully as she could, despite the obvious unladylike look in her eyes, and gave the driver his money. She glanced up at the building a few moments, waiting for the car to pull away. Well...the outside certainly looked....decent. She just hoped the place was as good as it had been advertised. Anything cheap or completely distasteful would NOT help her mood.

Sighing, and fluffing her black ringlets back, she straightened her shoulders and gracefully made her way inside.

"My pleasure, my dear." he replied as he led her towards one of the waitresses near the bar. "As I said before, I'd show you around more myself, but I have business to tend to for a while. I will try to check in and see how you are doing later this evening. he said, then turned his attention towards the other woman. Miss Kaleb, you're to show our new employee around until she gets the hang of what to do."

The woman nodded and turned her attention towards Starfire, giving her a small smile.

"I'm afraid, I must take my leave now. If you have any trouble, don't be afraid to ask for help." Penguin said, turning his attention back towards Star.
