Mardy regains herself slowly and stands with aid of the apron. She notices Phoenixfire is distracted for the moment. Watching carefully, Mardy slides into the ring behind her oppenent. With the moment being so perfect, Mardy tries to strike with a Wilkes-Booth Style!
(Wilkes-Booth Style is a superkick to the back of the head.)

Phoenixfire found herself in a brief moment of shock at the impact of a foot to the back of her head. She had been so focused on trying to figure out where the stranger was coming from that she failed to keep tabs on Mardy. And now she was suffering the consequences too. Phoenix found herself collapsing into a dazed heap on the mat, still trying to process what was going on.

The blow Phoenix had taken to the head had dulled her senses for the moment and left her vulnerable for a pin. Of course when she came round, she had the desire to free herself from this trap but to move was like trying to wade in water with weights tied to each limb.
1...
When Phoenix could manage to move, it was only a small lurching lift that it hadn't even crossed her mind if the referee would notice it. She was disoriented after that hit to the point she had no way of being certain if she'd made it through.
2...
But if there was one thing Phoenix could do, it was hope that she'd move. That video that played earlier, whomever it belonged to would be back out here soon and she wanted to give him a fair fight.
3...
There it was! That noise! Was the match over? It seemed like it might be, but everything seemed like a blur to her. She could only hope that blur would be gone and not leave her defenseless.

As Mardy's music played to celebrate her victory, Marxx was seen making his way through the crowd, simply walking, looking to get to the apron.

This match was just another notch on her rotten streak of losses. Phoenixfire still remained flat on her back, winking and trying to make sure the situation she'd found herself in was real. She rubbed her face before rolling on her side and beginning to push herself up. Her head was throbbing from the kick she'd taken to the skull, but she knew she'd be alright. But what was this, coming from the crowd? At first it sounded like a distorted noise but Phoenix listened harder and found it to be boos from fans who were turning away from the ring. The distraction tactic of a video had worked and now its owner was slowly making its way towards the arena's center.

((Marxx is heel here by the way lol))
Marxx was now at the barricade. He went over, and then slid inside the ring. He came closer from Phoenixfire, who was getting back on her feet as fast as her condition was allowing her. He simply stood there, waiting. What was going on in his mind right now? That distraction to cost Phoenixfire the match was a piece of a huge puzzle yet to be resolved.

Phoenixfire kept a firm grasp on the ropes as she got back to her feet to meet this man. Who was he? Why was he here? Something about his demeanor set her off and she didn't like the uneasy feeling it caused her. Whatever was hidden under the surface of this man's character didn't bode well for her and Phoenix was more than afraid of discovering what lie in wait for her.

Mardy had missed all of this as she left the ring celebrating.

Marxx was in front of Phoenixfire, simply staring at her. There was only one thing in his mind, and it was to get the mission he gave to himself accomplished. Now that he was in front of the first step, he was not going to walk away. He grabbed Phoenix, looking to lift her in the Leaving Marxx position. But, he would walk by the middle of the ring before going for it. Not that he couldn't close from the ropes, but the middle is a more convenient spot.

Phoenixfire was mortified at the sequence of events that followed the appearance of the stranger. She thought what she went through with Mardy was bad, but this? This was worse! Phoenix had tried to struggle as the man grasped at her and lifted her over his shoulder. It was to no avail though because she found him flipping backwards and ramming her into the sharp steel steps. The loss she had suffered was bad, but this beating she was taking was the worst kind of embarrassment she could suffer.

Marxx went back on his feet, looking at Phoenixfire who was flat on the floor. He looked left and right as the crowd showed their disagreement to his actions. However, he didn't seem to care much, even if he just went as low as attacking a woman who did nothing to him!
He walked by the side where the announcer's table was, and then asked for a microphone. He picked it and came to the middle of the ring, adding insult to injury by putting his foot on Phoenixfire as he approached the microphone from his mouth:
"ONE DOWN... Eight to go!"
With that said, he dropped his microphone, simply posing in front of a crowd that was far from liking him.
