I like all of your ideas. Personally I would like to try another manga page contest. Mainly because they are a lot of fun and last time I really wanted to enter but didn't get the chance. However, other members of the guild might prefer to try something different for a change like your suggested photoshop contest. I also like your idea for the Shonen and Shojo hero characters forum. It sounds interesting and will most likely be helpful to members who enjoy writing/drawing manga.

Hey! I saw that you had suggested helping with the guild a bit..(Like your example to try revising the Welcome page intro.) So I tried my best.. You don't have to use it.. I was just attempting to help:

The Manga Art Club is a grand society for people who are interested in manga/anime and want to draw. It is also a great place to talk about manga/anime, participate in contests, work on projects, help others and, most importantly, express oneself.
Some of the various events and fun things in the guild include: Role-playing, drawing contests, manga/anime discussions and other pleasurable things.

Also! I attempted to make a banner for the guild too (I really like the current one but if you are looking for a change or like this one you can use it.. or not. It's all up to you.) Anywho!
