I'd love to see your wriggle cosplay, if you'd put it somewhere. >w< @PCB Alice Margatroid; ... (You go to Sakura con too? (were you at 2010!? I haven't been able to go to the touhou project fanpanel yet.) But I like the work you put into making this~! It looks good, and you made it out of sculpy? That's amazing... considering i has no ability to paint/sculpt WHATSOEVER. Good job! Well it was Reisen that made it for me- Frank Scarlet sewed the outfit, I just bought all the goods required and drew up designs. (Since I can't sew to save my life) Next up is Sanae btw. Love to see Sanae too. Anyways, did you go to Sakura Con Sunday 2010? I saw a Shikieki there, went up and talked to her and she told me if I found reimu then don't tell her where she was. It could have been you. xD Meh, I'm just ranting, please don't mind me. >w<" Anyway, it'd be quite ironic if you were her xD

Been thinking of doing some sort of Genderbent cosplay for a con in March (Momo-Con if any of you know about it). I'm already going to Anime Weekend as Hazama from BlazBlue and TK from Angel Beats, so no time there. I saw a guy on DA who did a good genderbent Alice (Alex Margatroid), so I was thinking of doing either a similar Alice or either Marisa, Mokou, or Youmu since those three are commonly genderswapped.

So I have just returned from Anime Weekend Atlanta. There was a large turnout of Touhou cosplayers this year around. There was a whole panel on Touhou too, even if it was the LAST panel of the con, and we all were horribly unprepared for it. Until I get pics uploaded of the entire photoshoot, here's two pics to show how impressive some of these cosplayers were this year. Turns out I knew these two people. (Excuse the omgwtf size. Too lazy to size them down.) CrowWolf

I would label that more of a genderswap than a crossplay since he changed the skirt to pants.
Either way, get ready to rage when I upload the whole shoot (or at least the most important pics), Wotan. You'll also majorly hate me for my Touhou cosplay next year (hint: Alex Margatroid).
That Momiji was so sweet too. She didn't make the shoot since she was working at the maid cafe (not as Momiji, sadly). By the time of the Touhou panel on Sunday she was completely exhausted and could barely get around, kept tripping over herself. I had to help her into her seat, so she wouldn't collapse into it.

Daughter of Tepes You'll also majorly hate me for my Touhou cosplay next year (hint: Alex Margatroid). Well, if you are going to completely destroy my favourite character, at least do a good job with the outfit, like ♂Aya did. lol Daughter of Tepes she was working at the maid cafe (not as Momiji, sadly). How bad. That would have been a very nice thing to see.

Depends on how spiteful I'm feeling when I make it. I already have the design decided. I'm going to make the outfit at least similar to this design. As for Shanghai, I'm still debating to keep her normal and cute or take the serious route even further and use this redesign. If only the maid cafe was that good. Momiji was probably the best staff member there, even without her costume. I like maids a lot, but most of those were kinda...yeah. There was a Sakuya cosplayer just sitting at a table as a customer though. I teehee'd.
