At which point the tree knocked back... only against the man-like thing who had attacked Aly. The branch above her whipped out and grabbed him before he could react by the foot, picking him up as he shrieked in terror and throwing him into a cluster of his allies.
"All tremble," a sophisticated voice declared loudly. "Before the mighty arcane power of Vaar- mmph!"
The voice was suddenly smothered audibly and a much surlier one growled, "Oi! You're not introducing me as that gender-queer elven p***k you keep wittering on about again!"

As quickly as he'd gotten angry, Gorum was now considerably calmer. "Blecks, bro." He said gruffly, resting his axe on his shoulder.

Jinx stood up, she sheathed her sword "ouch," she complained rubbing her head. "that hurt."

From the direction of his and Gorum's camp the short, bearded and behatted figure of Throngar Balor cane stumping into view with his thick, wooden staff (never fear! Innuendo man is here!). "Aye," he agreed with his brother drily. "I noticed." He looked round and saw Jinx. "You alright, lass?"

Throngar (the dwarf) glanced at Jinx for a few more seconds then turned his attention back to his brother. "Aye," he agreed darkly. "Means more trouble for us. So how'd you get out here in the first place, anyway?" He folded his arms knowingly. "It wasn't the fruit flies again, was it?"

Jinx looked at the dead men. "who are they?" she asked kneeling down next to one of the bleeding men, poking him with a stick.

"Blue bottles this time." Gorum replied. "Made me sneeze. Woke me up. Bad move." Gorum noted, to nobody in particular. "Anyway, who're you?" He asked Jinx. "You're an elf, and unsurprisingly you're a Rogue." He began "Don't seem to have much combat experience though..."

Jinx was enraged by Gorum. She clenched her fist and was about to swing at him, but stopped herself. "You need to learn manners."

"Nah, it's probably just that she can't take a single measly blow in armour that skimpy without getting sent flying," Throngar theorised with almost equal disregard for sensitivity. "Honestly, why bother even where the stuff if you're going to leave that much skin showing, girl? You're not whoring on the streets of Almayaris, you know."

Jinx stood there, not knowing what to say or how to react to the two dwarves. normally she would she would beat the crap out of people who talked to her like that, but she knew that she couldn't harm dwarves, they wouldn't feel her punch. "Well then," she finally replied. "I see I have over stayed my welcome, I'll just be going now." She adjusted her sword belt and began walking off to her camp.
