A wedge heel doesn't have a "heel" the sole of the shoe is connected from the heel of the foot to the toe, and it's all one piece.
I don't think a wedge will be the easiest to walk in. Generally the SOUL is really really stiff/hard, they're solid and unbendy.
Normally when you walk, your foot kind of rolls (if you're in marching band you walk "like your foot is attached to half a bowling ball" so it slowly curves from heel as you step down, to toe as you step off)
A wedge doesn't bend in the arch part at all, and usually barely at all in the toe, so if you're not used to it you'll be stomping around (lololololol awesome).
I think a chunky heel would be easier. Like, the size of a fist chunky. It's stable, and at the very least, the toe part will bend with your step. Though you'll still probably stomp around.
Also old ladies aren't hip enough to wear a wedge, get real.

vs.

wedge vs. stiletto, the thicker the heel the easier it is to walk
(but also the chunkier your legs look, beauty is pain~)
when I think Ms. White I think of like.. white vinyl orthopedic shoes with a tiny heel though, so idk.
