well, I like the expensiff hairstyles, and I don't keep my avi's for very long, so it wouldnt make sense to change my hair everytime.
But I know in all my avi's theres always white, black, or both, so I just have a white wig to use.

I've always treated my avatar's hair more like an accessory than a focus piece. I think that's why I stick to one basic black hairstyle and just adjust with other black items. Since I don't like spending a lot of gold for new hair to match my ever-changing look, I find that finding one versatile colour is key.

I actually went for a style and color I thought would work with the majority of the avatars I wanted to create. I like this style aesthetically - but moreover I wanted a style that was girlish but didn't cover up the ears/forehead/shoulders.

So I have stuck with this shop style for almost 2 years. And I do wear it without covering it up.

I also, though, use wigs to match avis better.

This is why I rarely change my salon hair. And its only ever to black or white, something that doesn't stand out, and is easy to match (and normally cover up)

Hair should match if you're going for a matchy avi. As for the 'in real life' arguement.. I don't wander around with wings and top hats&cane or fire etc. either.. Thats the good thing about digital dress up xd

I think I've only changed it to a colour once, when I found a perfect matching tektek, that I couldn't figure out how to cover.

I like wigs now though.
Can't get enough of wigs (especially white & black ones)
Though they still need a decent REAL red wig...

Also,
I do have bright blue/turquoise hair IRL (I wear alot of purple and green)
