Bellatrix Arrives! David Wolfenbrother Scratching his head, Silver looked down at the blue button, then over at the little whatsit that was attached to his arm and hanging there, gnawing slightly. The little beast had come out of nowhere in the forest, attached to him, and demanded to be brought here. The gnawing was because along the way he had refused to get the little beast, who called itself Lord Aximundi Drascarion Invitre XXIIV, gold jewelry, silk robes, and a mansion immediately.
Chuckling, he shook his head, and pushed the button. As the wind lifted them, Silver stood calmly, waiting, and was rewarded with landing on a floating island. Hmmm, curiouser and curiouser. Looking around, he followed the obvious path, keeping a lookout, as the kid demon thing perched on his shoulder. Alatariel Rakamash Standing on teh path where the path split in two were two humanoids, each with long flowing clothing, One a female with soft white hair that curled at hte ends and ablue and yellow dress, she flittered her wings to keep herself above hte snow that warm night, odd thing was hte snow stayed regardless the heat. The male also hovered there he was a stark contrast to the previous he stood jsut as tall wearing a bright robe and had a shock of pointy flame red hair and held a golden staff David Wolfenbrother Blinking, he walked towards the two persons, going slowly so as to not frighten them away. "Erm. Excuse me. I found this little devil in the woods, and he's been clinging to me and demanding to come here, among other things, ever since. Can you help me figure out whats going on?"Dras just looked at the two elders, nose up a little as he clung to silver's hair and ear to balance on his shoulder. sailornorthstar Zulu had stayed with Ra for the time being since she guessed kurt and Chael would need there alone time thought it also helped him get to know his brothers better. He was now running though the snow gigling happly as Ra chased him in the form of a Sabertooth tiger. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Lenore looks at the button, having arrived way after silver. She looks at the squirming bundle in her arms, and winces when she screams.
"Alright, I'll press the bloody button!" Lenore says, her "aristoctratic" English accent a little more clipped than usual. She shakes her head, and looks at the button another moment, before she pushes it.
Immediately, she cries out in alarm. This is nothing like Apparating! She falls on her bum when she lands, and the little girl in her arms giggles, her yellow eyes alight with delight.
Grumbling, Lenore stands, and looks around. A path. Oh well, there was nothing else to do but follow it. . . . Alatariel Rakamash Be not worried, What you have there is a demon alined child Pae'il, This is Telrunya, it is where we are all from Bel's voice spoke in the back of Silver's mind and she smiled and looked towards the circle feeling more minds arriveDarius looked at his sister "Why must you always do that" he shook his head knowing what she had done from teh familiar circle they were both a part of "I am Darius and this is my sister Beldaran, we are Elders here" Krista DarkAngel Silme Tinania along with the three paeil she watched over appeared within the circle. Her hair was up in a ponytail which kept getting played with by the younf faery paeil in her arm. Tinania looked at Anila giggling " Okay you, no more messing with mum's hair okay?" Comos shook his head frowning, for a faery pae'il the little brat got on his nerves. He looks up at Tinania " Why did we have to bring her?" Kaelin laughs before rolling her eyes then looking up she squeels " Mum!!!" she climbs up over the snow then pulls at her mother's dress hoping to be picked up. Tinania arches a brow seeing her aunt walking off then seeing Silver " Okay what is going on here?" Comos didn't say anything but he to wanted to know as he looked up at the hairy giant. sailornorthstar As Zulu ran he noticed the two elders and stopped Ra who was still in saber tooth tiget mode and was haveing a great time did not see why Zulu had stopped and had pounced on the unsespecting Zulu.
"Ra." Zulu yelled "Cut it out there are other people here and elders." Ra looked up and changed in to his normal look of a adult deamon.
"hehehe I did not see them." Ra said to Zulu David Wolfenbrother Accepting the voice in his head as a normal thing, he looked over at the little pae on his shoulder, then back to the elders. "So he's a a Pae'il you say? Of a demon alignment? So why did he glomp OW!" He stopped as his ear got bitten, and a black rune appeared on his cheek. "Sorry, seize me in the woods down below?" Looking over his shoulder, he saw both Lenore and Nani, smiling a little at them. His eyepatch was in place, so the orb of demonic fire wasn't obvious at the moment.Upon hearing that these two were elders, Dras looked at them, then stood shakily on silver's shoulder, using his ear as a handle, and gave a small bow before sitting down again upon his moble throne. Up here, he was higher then any of the pae! Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Lenore stops in her tracks when she sees Silver.
Then, she tells herself that she is being silly! She remembers when the little wolf would run around, making bird noises! Shaking her head, she keeps walking toward the small group that is ahead of her.
She then hears a familiar voice behind her. Turning slightly, she sees Nani. With a wave to her neice, she keeps on her path.
Meanwhile, the little green bundle of joy in her arms is plucking at her arm band, and hissing oddly. Lenore lifts a brow, and shakes her head. She's hearing things. . . . .
"Uhm . . ." she starts, scratching her head, her green hair becoming mussed. "Am I the only clueless person here?" she asks, having not been privvy to the information that Silver just recieved. sailornorthstar Zulu noticed that tere were humans (or what he thought might be humans since he had never seen one in his life thought he had herd about them) there and they had child paes who were his size he walked over he had noticed a girl deamon pae that was deep gren with white and black and green hair. He came over to Lenore, "Hi What is your names?" Zulu said with a smile. Ra stood behind Zulu looking at the new arvials. Alatariel Rakamash Welcome Bel's voice floats into any new arrivalDarius chuckles "Something tells me we are going to see many new Pae'il, I am not certain as to why he has clung to you in such manner" Krista DarkAngel Silme Tinania smiles seeing not only Silver, but her aunt holding a pae as well. Laughing she smiels to Bel and Darius " I see we have some new caretakers to the island. This is great. Welcome my friends." she walks toward the group placing Anila down in the snow. Anila squeels which causes the snow to blown around by a small gust of winf that just suddenly appears. Shaking his head Comos looks to Bel " Lady Bel have you seen Tiff today?" he leaned against his staff watching thr elder. Kaelin rolls her eyes before sticking her tongue at Comos " You think you had a crush on her the way your aalways askin about her." she didn't know why but this irked her. David Wolfenbrother Before Silver could speak, Dras answered for him. Clinging to the ear, he hissed, and spoke one word "MINE!" before going quiet again."Oh boy. I guess i'm stuck with you, eh you little bugger?" Shaking his head, he smiled at Nani and Lenore. "So, anything in particualar I have to watch out for while taking care of a Pae'il? Things to do and not to do, other then the generic basics?" Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "Uhm, thanks," Lenore says, immediately putting up mental blocks in her mind. People in her mind have never resulted in anything pleasant. . . . The last time that happened, she was bitten. . . .
Shaking her head again, she listens to those around her. Pae'il, eh? She looks down at the green Pae'il in her arms. She looks up, unblinkingly, at Lenore. The girl goes back to hissing incoherently, though sometimes Lenore thinks that she hears words. . . .
"Yes," Lenore says, when hearing Silver's question. "Aside from feeding them, and . . . clothing them, giving them love, et cetra. What are some things we might be expecting from these little ones?"
The little Pae seems to take exception to being called a "little one," and narrows her eyes at Lenore, hissing angrily. Lenore blinks, and just stares at her. . . . sailornorthstar Zulu noticed that he had not been noticed though he guessed they had other things to to do at the moment seeing as many of them would have to learn a thing or two about the isle and then firgure out were to stay and all that. he guessed that sooner or latter they may bump in to one another again Alatariel Rakamash Bel chuckles she sensed hte blocks "Don't worry, I'm the Elderof Telepathy here, I can get around near any block if wanted to, but I do not if the other person puts therm up unless it's for the safety of my people" Bel explainedDarius chuckles "Most are fairly self sufficieant once they get past this stage" he looked at the fae pae "I think she's in her tower"With no warning a third figure arrived hood upon her head her long seagreen hair spilling from it in teh front "Well I might as well join the party" she mused Teigra Takeko had taken to exploring the forest, leaving the beach long ago. Something about the forest seemed...more soothing to her than the open beach, though it was nice too in its own way. The cool shade of the trees and the way the light filtered through the leaves though...beautiful.
Suddenly, she froze, hearing voices. Taking refuge behind a decently-sized tree, she peeped around it, quickly taking in the 'crowd' in the forest. Wow...what could they all be doing out here? She noticed a couple of children like she'd seen in Hula Bob's bar and couldn't help but smile.
Deciding that discretion was the best decision for now, she watched quietly, waiting to see exactly what was going on before she charged into anything she wasn't ready for. And a group this large? Definitely something she wasn't ready for just yet. Krista DarkAngel Silme Tinania smiles then nods to Estra who had just appeared. She pulls her cloak closer to her deciding it was best to keep Anila in her arms. Leaning down she picks the child back up out of the snow. " I think I will let you three explain to them." she smiles watching her friends. It would indeed be nice to have more people she knew here. Comos frowns then watches the two new children pae'il, he made note of them both being Demon. Shaking his head he frowns " Tiff would be better company then them.." he walks back over staying close to Tinania. Kaelin pulls at Bel dress alittle as she listens to them all speak. It was indeed for the first time that she decide to keep quiet. David Wolfenbrother "Hmmm. So just the normal treatment, bring them here to socialize of course. Hmmmm. I take it you all develope powers along the way?" Silver gestured to the runes that had apperead on him as he walked, chuckling ruefully. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "It's fine, I have just had some bad experiences," Lenore explains, smiling a little.
Then, her gaze starts to wander. . . . She sees some other Pae, and offers them a smile. She catches the scent of another, but does not acknowledge it. This one doesn't want to be noticed, so she does nothing about it.
Her gaze returns to the Pae in her arms. "I guess I had better name you. . . ." she says, as her eyes light on, and not for the first time, the Dark Mark on the inside of her left arm. It mocks her, and she feels an odd flare of anger inside of her. "Bellatrix seems appropriate," she says, emotionlessly.
Little Bellatrix seems to approve, and is soon screeching again.
Wincing, Lenore sets her down in the snow. Bellatrix sits there, staring up at everyone, hissing to herself. sailornorthstar Zulu looked at the woman he notices the smile and smiles back happly. He watched as Lenore put Bellatrix on the ground. "Welcome to the island." he said with a smile. Ra watched Zulu as he talked he was leaning on one of ther trees in the forest calm and happy about all that was going on. Alatariel Rakamash Bel looked a hte small green Pae Do you approve of your name younf Bellatrix she asks the child who seems not to speak englishDarius chuckles and settles into the snow setting his staff on the ground and he 'moved' the ground below Silver "I see you have met two of my children" she greets the group "I am Estralita, you can call me Estra" Teigra Curiosity overwhelming any fears, Takeko emerged from her hiding place. Rather than butting into the conversation, she leaned against the tree in plain sight, waiting either for acknowledgement or a chance to introduce herself without inturrupting or being rude. She had to get used to talking to others at some point and this was a golden opportunity. Krista DarkAngel Silme Tinania looks at over then smiles to Zulu nodding to him before turning to glance at Comos " Why don't you go looking for Tiff..." she nudges him alittle smiling. Comos nods then bowing to the elder he pushes though the snow with his staff heading towards the large head quarters. He remember him and Tiff were there the night she took him to her tower. Kaeling watches him leave then pulls at her mother Bel's dress again. She wanted up so she could hug her. Anila giggles laying her head back on Tinania should. She looks around then spots Silver. Pouting she sticks her tongue out at him " Yucky!!!" sailornorthstar Ra saw another pae leaning agenst a ree and noticed she was watching the conversation also. "It seems that this place will soon be swarmed by children and new parents I mean owners who are learing how to take care of them." he said to Takeko David Wolfenbrother Stumbling, Silver fell into the warm snow as he held Dras in his hands so he wasn't injured.,and chuckled. "Okay, I'll take that for a yes. Ah, it feels good to be laying down. I think i'll just lay here for a bit, if you all don't mind." With that, he closed his eyes, dozing off.Dras, looking grumpy, curled up on silver's chest, pulling the blanket silver kept in his satchel out and using it as a robe more or less, dozing off himself, grumbling the entire time. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Bellatrix hisses at the other Pae, eye narrowed, before looking up at the one she assumes was talking to her in her head.
Me like, she hisses.
Lenore blinks again, thinking for sure she did not misunderstand her. "Uhm, did someone ask her a question?" she asks. "I mean, she could be referring to the snow and all . . . But, she said 'me like'?" She looks around at the other Pae, before noticing the one leaning against the tree. She offers a wave.

Bellatrix Arrives! Cont. Alatariel Rakamash I am glad that you have a caretaker who is wise in her choice of name for you Bel tells the little pae with a smile before looking at Lenore "I did, it appears your young charge approves of hte name you have given herDarius chuckles and shakes his head "What a strange creature" and looked around seeing hte newest addition to the group and smiling nods as he hovers back over the snow once moreEstra smiles seeing her grand-daughter and her caretaker "Hello my grandchild" she says to KaelinTiffany sighed "Okay time for food" she mumbled and whished into the HQ kitchen Teigra Takeko jumped slightly as she was spoken to directly by the other Pae. "Oh, um, yes. Seems so." It was obvious she was nervous, despite her best efforts not to appear so. But at least she was trying. She waved back to the two-legged non-Pae who reminded her of her own caretaker, Teigra, in a vague sort of way. She wondered idly where she had gotten off to on the isle anyway. "There's nothing wrong with children being about though, is there?" She tried to keep the conversation going, smiling slightly at the thought. She wasn't sure why, but she found the children she had seen so far adorable and couldn't help but be happy while watching them play. sailornorthstar "they are cute and a handful at the same time i hope the elders are warning the new aretakers about Sugar and how it affects childeren Pae." He looket at her a smile on his face. "Name Amon Ra but call me Ra for short. the little one with a halo and yellow hair the angel his name is Zulu I am watching over him for a bit." he said "childeren are not bad it is just that there is going to be a huge population boom if you know what i mean." Krista DarkAngel Silme Tinania laughs watching Silver pass out in the snow. Looking back up she smiles to the elders " So how are all of you?" she pushes her bangs from her face. She held Anila close watching the younf child looking around. Comos smiles stepping into the Head Quarters, he looked around before he heard some noise in the kicthen. Pushing the door open he smiles " Well just the faery I was looking for. How are you this evening?" Kaelin looking up she smiles " Hello..." she bows alittle then holds her arms out. She really wanted a hug. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Bellatrix shakes her head so forcefully that her pigtails slap her head. She hisses some more, but Lenore cannot pick any words from it.
However, she smiles over at Bel. "That's good, I suppose," she says, scratching her arm. She then turns to the other elder, and chuckles. "It isn't so odd, I think. It's just Parselmouth. I speak it, as well. . . ."
Ballatrix, growing tired of just sitting there, starts to crawl around in the snow. Messy ground, she hisses.
Lenore has to chuckle. Yes, it is, she replies with a hiss of her own.
Bellatrix stops crawling, and looks up at the green-haired woman. Her caretaker. She blinks with her big, yellow eyes, and Lenore has to laugh again.
Lenore sits in the snow next to Bellatrix, and starts to roll up the powder, making snowballs.
A gleam in her eye, Bellatrix watches, learning. . . . Krista DarkAngel Silme Tinania smiles nodding " That is good to hear. Oh you missed Surion, he came up here not to long ago to keep me company while I stayed the night. But its good to hear that your doing well.." she winces as Anila pulls at her hair alittle. Kaelin smiles wrapping her arms around her grandmother's neck returning the hug " Yay more family I get to see!!" she giggles then pulls back alittle. Comos smiles " Well there is a bunch of new children out by the pad. ASnd only one was a faery. And she was already getting on my nerves. So I thought I would come visit you." he steps foward leaning against the counter. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Bellatrix got the gist of the idea of snowballs. With a little giggle, she makes a tiny one . . .
. . . . And throws it in the direction of Tinania.
Lenore blinks, and looks over, appologetically, and Nani. Just in case her neice takes offence. She then hisses to Bellatrix That was not very nice!
This only seems to make Bellatrix giggle more, as she makes another tiny snowball. Alatariel Rakamash Darius faces the others once more once he knows they seem to be enjoying their own conversation "very cool" he says sinking his staff intot he snow to touch the ground once more lifting several spots of earth creating a group of 'seats'Bel smiled "I have not met him as yet" she tells NaniEstra smiles and kisses Kaelin's cheek "Yes, and same goes for me, you have grown up so lovely"Tiff chuckles and turns around slightly rolling her eyes "They seriously aer beneith us, when will they learn that" Krista DarkAngel Silme Tinania arches a brow then smiles " I'll have to talk to him about come with me on one of my trips then.." she gasps as the ground rises. Looking at Darius she smiles takeing a seat only to cover her head when Anila screams. She looekd at the child arching a brow, that when she notice the snow on her. Anila huffs then pouts, but before Tinania could stop her a gust of wind picks up a bunch of snow tossing it toward Bellatrix's direction. Kaelin smiels then giggles " Thank you, Tinania has been a very good caretaker. I'm glad mums let her take care of me." she turns to look at her mother then back to her grandmother " How are you?" Comos nods as her watches her " That they are. It was why I needed to get away from them. I needed someone that was on the same level or higher to talk to.." Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Lenore is alittle thrown by the shaking of the earth again, but Bellatrix only giggles again.
And then, the snow hits her. Her giggles stop abruptly. To make matters worse, Lenore is stiffling a giggle of her own.
Bellatrix first glares at Lenore, and then Anila. She hisses agrily, spitting occasionally, and Lenore blinks a little at some of the mean words she hears, thankful none of them are curses. She laughs nervously, and looks over at Tinania again.
Bellatrix hastily makes another snowball and throws it toward the offending Pae. She sticks a forked tongue out at her when she does so. . . .
"Bellatrix," Lenore says, sternly, and scoops her up into her lap."Stop it." she hisses. She starts brush the snow from the little girl.
Bellatrix crosses her arms over her chest and pouts, not making eye-contact with Lenore again. Alatariel Rakamash All the heads of hte three elders turn to look at the young fae all startled by it enough to not think to reply Tiffany nodded pulling some fruit out "Higher... I am not staying in the HQ, if you wish to see me you will have to join me I'm going back tot he tower" she said in a mater of fact toneKrista DarkAngel Silme Tinania looks to her aunt biting her bottom lip feeling slightly embrassed. She looks down at Anila then gasps as she see another snowball hit the young faery right between the eyes. Anila screams this time causing enough wind to lift and hit anyone close to them as it flies in all directions. She sniffles then makes a pouty face looking up at Tinania. Tinania frowns shaking her head she brushes the snow off " Now I know what my mother went though when I was a child..." she looks up at the elders hoping Anila didn't also get them. Kaelin glares at Anila as she brushes the snow off her body. Right there she wanted to strangle the child for being a spoiled brat. Comos steps toward her taking her hand " Of course why wouldn't I want to talk to you?" Your fun and your tower is very interesting..." he smiles to her then takes the bowle also holding it for her. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Lenore spits some snow out of her mouth, and shakes her head, trying to get it out of it.
Clutching a screaming Bellatrix in her arms, she stands, brushing the snow from her cloak as well. "Well, I do appologize for Bellatrix's lack of manners," she says, smiling nervously again. "I think I will conclude the social part of this visit, before she causes any more trouble. It was nice meeting all of you, and I will see you later, Tinania. Thank you all for the information that you have provided."
With that, Lenore starts walking back down the path, scolding Bellatrix in Parseltongue, all the while the little girl is screaming her head off.

Lenore looks over at the small pile of pillows in the corner of her room. Bellatrix, or Trixy as she likes to think of her, is sleeping on them, one of Lenore's silk sheets over her, and her thumb in her mouth. She didn't want to sleep on a bed, or in a crib. She insisted on sleeping on pillows.
Lenores good velvet ones, at that. She sighs and shakes her head, before she sits down at her computer desk. She boots up her top-of-the-line computer, and waits for it to warm up.
Once it does, she starts typing in her journal program.

Today, I found a strange girl on my doorstep. I was leaving, to go and have some dinner, and I almost tripped over her! She just stared up at me, blinking, unsmiling, at me. She was hissing to herself, as though conversing. I could pick out a few words, which suprized me.
What really distubed me, though, was the Dark Mark on the inside of her left forearm. It is in the exact spot most Death Eaters have theirs. Could she have been someone's sick joke? Not very many people know who my true father is, and I intend to keep it as such. . . .
But, I am determined that this little marking of hers will not keep me from providiong her with the love that she will obviously need, even if she doesn't think that she needs it. I will love her as much as I have loved any of my adopted family. . . .
Anyway, Bellatrix, which is what I have chosen to name her, seems to be a Pae'il. Whatever that is. . . . She comes from a strange land that you have to be pretty much catapulted to. Let me tell you, I will keep my Apparation, thank you very much.
When I took her to the floating island tonight, she met a few other Pae'il. Tinania, my neice, was there, so I didn't feel too much like an outsider. And, Silver was there as well. He had just had a Pae'il dropped on him, as well. Anyway, she doesn't seem to think too much of other people. She threw snowballs at Tinania and Anila, her Pae'il. She didn't seem to like it when snow was dumped all over her. Before she could be even more rude, I took off.
I am hoping to be able to teach her some manners. But, if she proves to be anything like the people that were in my old House in school, it might be harder than I think. . . .
Crap! I hear Lucius calling for me. I swear if he wakes up Bellatrix!
. . . . Too late. I am going to go kill him now. . . .

Another Outing! spookyx7 Aspen wandered around close to the river. It wasn't frozen anymore, which made him a bit happier. He wanted to practice his power, but didn't really know the point.
Aspen picked up a rock and skipped it across the river. He sighed, this isle could be so boring sometimes. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Lenore wanders around the area, holding Bellatrix's hand. The going is slow, because Bellatrix is clumsy yet.
But, she enjoys listening to her hiss as she looks around.
When they reach the river, something new to both Lenore and Bellatrix, Lenore notices that there is another Pae further down the way.
"Do you want to go and meet some more people?" Lenore hisses the question to Bellatrix.
"No," Bellatrix hisses in response.
Lenore chuckles, "Too bad," she hisses, and starts to lead Bellatrix over to the other. spookyx7 Aspen heard a weird hissing sound from a ways away and turned to see a child pae with a girl. He squinted, he wondered why the girl was hissing with the pae, but shrugged, none of his business. "Hello!" He said waving and started to walked toward them. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Lenore hears the greeting, and returns the wave. She looks down at Bellatrix, pointedly. With a disgruntled hiss, she waves with her tiny hand reluctantly.
It isn't too long before she is close to the other Pae, and she sticks a scaled hand to him. "Hello," she says. "My name is Lenore, and this is Bellatrix," she indicates the little green Pae with a tilt of her head. spookyx7 Aspen smiled at the greeting. He took her hand into a frim shake. "I'm Aspen, it's nice to meet you both. I haven't seen either of you before." He hadn't met that many paes though, so it wasn't new for him ot run into paes he hadn't seen before. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "It is nice to meet you as well," Lenore replies, inclining her head a little to Aspen. "And, we are fairly new to this community. . . ." she replies, the smile still on her her lips, though it is closed-lip. She doesn't want anyone here to see her fangs just yet.
Her amber, reptilian eyes move to look down at Bellatrix, whom is regarding Aspen with obvious distrust. "Do you remember what we spoke about this morning?" Lenore hisses to her. When Bellatrix nods her head, she continues, "Do you have anything to say to Aspen?"
Bellatrix sighs, and looks away from the other Pae. Disgusted, she hisses, "It is nice to meet you, Aspen.'
"Bellatrix says that she is pleased to meet you as well," Lenore says. Her eyes start to look around at her surroundings again, her keen sense of hearing and smell picking up on things that others would not, and she smiles slightly again. "So, what is there to do for the Pae'il and their caretakers?" she asks. spookyx7 Aspen watched as the two talked, "Well, welcome here. This place can be pretty boring sometimes..." Aspen looked around, "But there is a lake for swimming, a Tiki Bar to hang out and eat at, the Headquarters, and the House of Healing. I haven't been to the last one yet." Aspen smiled down at the little child, it was apartent that she wasn't in the mood to meet people, but he didn't let it get to him. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Lenore nods, while Bellatrix tilts her head at what Aspen is saying. She is still regarding him with distrust. He seems happy, and for no reason.
That's always a bad sign.
"Well, I don't think that little Bellatrix knows how to swim yet," she says, and Bellatrix hisses, angrily, at Lenore again at being called 'little'. Lenore merely chuckles. "What's the headquarters like? I have only been to the Fa'e one, and there are lots of books and games, and couches, bean bag chairs. Things the Fa'e could occupy their time with, and plenty of older Fa'e to help the guardians look after their smaller ones if they needed help. . . ."
Bellatrix looks over at Lenore again, curiousity in her eyes. What are these Fa'e she speaks of? she thinks. spookyx7 Aspen looked toward the HQ. "Well, I know there are places to stay, eat and sleep there. There is a huge library in there too." Aspen hadn't been in there too much. "Would you like to go?" He asked both of the them. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Lenore looks down at Bellatrix, who merely shrugs.
"Sure, why not," Lenore says. She bends forward to pick Bellatrix up into her arms.
Bellatrix squirms until Lenore moves her so that her back is against Lenore's chest. She wants to keep an eye on Aspen.
Out of curiousity, Bellatrix hisses something. She looks back at Lenore, expectantly.
"Erm, Bellatrix would like to know if you have seen any snakes around here?" Lenore translates. spookyx7 Aspen frowned in thought. "Well, the forests are full of different creatures. Since the ground is covered in snow I haven't seen to many." He wasn't sure if they were hibernating or what.
"The headquarters is this way." He started walking and watched to see if they kept up. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "You had to pick the one that knows nothing, didn't you?" Bellatrix hisses, obviously disappointed.
Lenore narrows her eyes at Bellatrix, and starts to follow Aspen. "So, when the Pae'il get older, they tend to live alone, here?" Lenore asks. "I'm sorry, I just noticed that you didn't have a caretaker with you," she says, smiling again.
"Maybe he wants to walk alone and get eaten. . . ." Bellatrix hisses, lazily. "Would that be such a bad thing?"
"That's enough out of you," Lenore hisses.
Bellatrix shrugs, and hisses something else.
"Bellatrix asks how many other Pae'il have you met," Lenore translates. When Bellatrix hisses something again, Lenore adds, "And, if you have any family." She raises a brow and looks over at Bellatrix, wondering what has caused her to become so social. spookyx7 "Yeah, alot of paes build houses and live by themselves or with their mate. I didn't have a caretaker like you, but a Mother and Father." Aspen continued to walk beside them. "I've met a few, not as many as my parents though. I do have a family, a rather large one. I haven't even met them all. I have a brother and sister. I'm a fourth generation pae. My great-grandparents are elders." Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Lenore nods, and continues following Aspen.
Bellatrix laughs a little, and hisses something very rude.
"Keep it up, little one, and I will take you home again," Lenore warns out of the corner of her mouth.
"Wow," she says to Aspen. "I have a large family, too. It is mostly adopted, and really close friends, though," she says. "It's always good to have a big family, I think. People that can help you out when you need them to, and all." spookyx7 Aspen chuckled, "What's she saying?" He knew it was about him and he didn't care. After Letha, no one bothered him. "Yeah, I love my family. I haven't seen them in a while though. I'm trying to figure out my own way in life."
The walked up to the HQ and Aspen smiled, "Here we are. I think I shoudl let you go soon though..." Aspen had some training to do, but it was nice meeting these people. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Lenore nods. Her daughter had moved out months ago, partly for that same reason. She had her own kingdom to run, in any case. She couldn't hate her for wanting to be a better queen. . . .
"You really don't want to know what she saying," Lenore smiles appologetically, and looks over at the HQ. "Well, thank you for getting us this far," she says. "Stay safe, with whatever it is you are going to go do." She holds out a scaled hand again. "Again, it was lovely meeting you."
"Yes, so lovely," Bellatrix hisses, with a roll of her eyes.
"Erm, she expresses the same sentiment." spookyx7 "Oh, well, maybe she'll grow to like me later!" Aspen chuckled and patted Bellatrix's head. "Oh, you are welcome. You guys stay safe as well. I'll be fine. Just going to train and stuff." Aspen waved as he left the two. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Lenore chuckles at Aspen's words, and waves to him as he leaves.
She then turns to the door of the HQ. "See, he was nice," she hisses to Bellatrix.
Bellatrix merely snorts.

I took Bellatrix out again a few hours ago. We had a long discussion before we left about manners.
I think the thread of being cooped up in the house was enough to bother her. She was on . . . well, not her best behaviour. She was still rather rude toward the end. And, really, durring the whole thing.
I think she made an effort to try and be as nice as she thought she needed to be to Aspen. Aspen is the new Pae that we met today. He took us to the HQ. It is close to what I envisioned it, actually. Books and the like around.
Sort of like the Fa'e HQ, if I remember correctly.
Anyway, as soon as we got home, Bellatrix was asking me about snakes. Well, I happen to be a little knowledgable on the subject, being that my daughter is pretty much a large snake herself. I told her some general things. For example: snakes have dry, keratinous scales, the size and arrangement and, indeed number, of which varies with species. Then, she wanted to know how many numbers of scales were in each snake species.
I told her I had no clue.
Of course, I got the 'What good are you?' look from her. I pointed her in the direction of Nyoka's pet snake, Snakey, which is still down in her old room in the basement. After a look that clearly told me I was an idiot for thinking she could even walk down the stairs on her own, I led her down there.
I left her to converse with Snakey for a bit. Likely they are having all sorts of informative talks now.
Maybe I will call Nyoka later and ask how she feels about me transferring ownership of Snakey to Bellatrix. I mean, she didn't take him to Greece with her, so she might not be bothered. . . .
I'll do that now, I think. . . . And check on Bellatrix again. . . .

Bellatrix Meets Some of the Family! December 20, 2005 - 17:44
Lenore sits outside, watching Bellatrix play by the koi pond.
That seems to be a favorite spot for the children. Even now, with Damien, Nyoka, Tinania, Aylana, Ernia, and Virendra, all grown up, they love to just sit by it, watching the koi swimming in the vast, shallow lake.
The lake is situated a good ways away from the manor. Though, because of what Lenore is, and her sight being better than a humans before she was changed, Lenore could look out the window by the front doors, and keep an eye on the youngsters while they were playing.
Now, she sits a ways off, under one of the trees. The sun is setting behind her, but she has her sunglasses on. The sun stings her eyes. She'll be happy when it is gone.
Bellatrix is giggling as she watches the koi. She crawls around the bank of the pons, watching they one they all named "Nyoka" with interest.
Now, the two of them are just waiting for Lenore's daughter to arrive. And, her granddaughter.
Nyoka always brings Ernia, even when the snowy owl doesn't want to come.
Lenore hears her daughter before she looks up. Far down the path leading to the manor, she sees Nyoka opening the gate. She seems to be muttering something to Ernia, something Ernia doesn't like, apparently. Because, while Nyoka looks amused, Ernia looks annoyed.
Lenore lifts her hand, and waves. Her daughter, having almost as keen an eyesight as Lenore, waves back, and heads toward the koi pond, Ernia trailing reluctantly behind her.
"Hey, mum," Nyoka says, slithering closer to her before she sits down. She hugs Lenore tightly in her powerful arms, before pulling back, and looking at Ernia.
"Hello, Ernia," Lenore says.
"Hello, Lenore," Ernia says, reluctantly. She lifts her the silk shirt of her dress up a little before she sits on the grass, aranging it around her so that is spreads out perfectly around her. She's always been meticulous in her appearance.
"I like the crown," Lenore comments, looking at the snowflake crown on her head.
"Thank you," Ernia says, politely. She then turns away from Lenore, subtly saying she doesn't wish to speak anymore.
Lenore smiles to herself, and looks over to Nyoka. "So, I see you recieved my message."
"Yeah, is that the little one over there?" Nyoka inclines her head in the direction of Bellatrix.
"Yes," Lenore replies.
"Do you think she will take care of Snakey alright?" Nyoka says, her brow furrowing.
"Well, she seems terribly interested in them," Lenore says, "Just as you were, might I add."
"I still am," Nyoka smiles again.
Lenore chuckles. "She can speak the language."
Nyoka raises an eyebrow. "That seems to be the running trend in this family. . . ."
Lenore smiles, and looks back over at Bellatrix. She is looking at Nyoka with great interest. Especially her big snake.
Finally, Bellatrix starts toddling over to Nyoka. When she is there, she sits in front of her and just stares at her with those big yellow eyes.

Bellatrix Meets Some of the Family! Cont. Nyoka looks down at Bellatrix. "Hello. . . ." she says.
Bellatrix blinks once, and turns to Lenore for a moment. "She's my daughter," she explains.
Bellatrix turns back to Nyoka. She studies her for a long while before she nods her approval. "Hello," she replies.
"So. . . . I hear you wish to take over care of Snakey?" Nyoka hisses, since it is obvious that Bellatrix seems more comfortable talking in such a manner.
Bellatrix nods, and looks up at Nyoka, an almost greedy gleam in her eye.
"Do you know what to feed him?" Nyoka asks.
"Snakey told me," Bellatrix informs her.
Nyoka nods. "Are you going to clean his cage? Make sure it is the proper temperature? If he gets sick, will you take him to get teh medical assisstance that he needs?"
Bellatrix nods vigourously.
Nyoka is silent a moment. Only when Bellatrix starts to fidget impatiently does she smile.
And Bellatrix knows Snakey is hers.
"Alright, then," Nyoka says, and Bellatrix squeals loudly with delight. She gives Nyoka a bit hug, and she has to chuckle. Ernia rolls her eyes. "If I hear he is being mistreated, I am taking him back, and he will go to Greece with me." Nyoka warns.
"I will take good care of him," Bellatrix promises.
"Can we go now?" Ernia says in a bored voice.
Nyoka rolls her eyes, and sets Bellatrix back on the grass in front of her. "Just for that, we are staying for dinner. . . ."

It has been a while since I have had time to write in this.
I will keep my personal life out of this journal, since I have another journal for that specific purpose.
But, I have been a busy, busy, bee. Bellatrix found a place that she absolutely had to settle in. A cave, of course.
I supplied her with bunches of silk pillows, all solid black or silver, for her to sleep on. I got her some candelbrum for her cave, with enchanted candles so that the wax never really melts. She wanted those in green. There are emerald, silk drapes all around the cave, and some Indian rugs on the floor. I got her a table, and some books for when she gets older.
Her cave looks lavish, for a cave. And, Bellatrix approves. That is all that really matters, I suppose.
The stress of the last few days has caught up with me, so I am going to go to bed. . . . .

Survival. . . .
(( A BIG thanks to Poisey for making a suggestion that led to this post! heart *huggles* )) Bellatrix watches as Snakey curls around her arm. She smiles and pets her friend's head. Snakey's tongue flicks out in response.
"I'm hungry," Bellatrix announces.
Snakey looks up at her. It takes him a moment to hiss a response, and it is in drawn out words. "I caaaaan heeeeelp yuuuuuuooooo huuuuuuunnnnntttt?"
Bellatrix thinks on it a moment, before nodding. "Alright," she hisses in response.
Snakey uncurls himself from Bellatrix's arm, and starts to slither his way out of the cave. Bellatrix stands, and starts to follow him.
It is a long time, in the sun, before they find anything. When Snakey catches a scent with his tongue, he hurries his slithering. Bellatrix walks faster to keep up.
Suddenly, Snakey stops. He lifts up his head, and turns to look up at Bellatrix. "A biiiiiiird. Tooooooooo biiiiiiiigggggg fooooooorr meeeeeee, buuuuuuut juuuuuuussssstttttt rriiiiiiiiiiggghhhtt foooooor yooooou."
Bellatrix nods, and watches as Snakey goes off to find something more suitable for himself. Expirimentally, she flicks out her tongue. She can smell the bird now.
Crouching low, she moves silently toward the bushes. She peeks over the top, and sees the bird. With a wicked smile on her lip, she waits for a few moments.
Her stomach is growling by the time she makes her move. Quick as a striking snake, the bird is clapped into her hands. She breaks its neck to stop the moving.
It is larger than what her mouth can open. But, she knows she can eat it. She opens her mouth wide, her snake fangs lowering. She feels her jaw shift, and to her surprize, her mouth opens wider, giving her more than enough room to swallow the bird.
She walks away from the bushes, patting her stomach, with a smug look on her face.

Lenore tosses her bangs out of her eye, only to have them fall over it again.
She looks back at Rayne. It is a steep, if short, climb to Bellatrix's cave.
"I hope this isn't too much," she asks, smiling at Rayne and her Pae. "I also wanted to thank you for agreeing to set up a meeting. . . ."

"Its nothing." She said, smiling as she moved along. She said this because she had yet to fall during the climb. She looked over at Devika who was sitting on her shoulder, hands tangled in her purple hair and seemed to be doing his best to blend in. Given his ability to do that it was hard to spot exactly where he was.
It was the golden eyes that he had that stood out and didn't shift colors as of yet.
"I don't mind them meeting at all. He's yet to see anyone of his own kind and thus really does need to get out." She said, grinning a bit. She had no idea how he was going to react to the meeting but she supposed they were about to find out.

"Bellatrix met some when she was first born, and the next day," Lenore explains. She doesn't mention that her little Pae is a bit rough around the edges.
She stops at the entrance, just outside of the crystal, bead curtains covering the mouth. "Uhm, I probably should warn you. She only hisses, so far. She knows a spot of English, but I will have to translate the rest," she smiles nervously, before pulling the curtain aside.
"Bellatrix, you have visitors," she calls in, before stepping aside to allow Rayne and her Pae entry.
Bellatrix's head pokes out of the silk curtain around her bedroom. She narrows her eyes a little, before popping back inside.
"Why didn't she warn me, Snakey?" she asks her snake, whom is curled up on her silk pillows that make up her bed. She picks up her scented oil, and dabs it on.
Snakey just watches Bellatrix run a brush through her silver and green, spikey pigtails.
She scoops up Snakey, and he wraps around the arm that does not have her arm bracelet, before she walks outside.
"Come in," Bellatrix says, offering a small smile.

Hisses? Rayne thought to herself, maybe like that thing Jing did when he was frustrated with one of her stupid stunts or disapearing before the chores acts? She looked around the cave, "Wow, what a beautiful place." She murmured, for a cave it was quite wonderful.
She looked over as the other Pae appeared and she waved, "Hello there." She said then got Devika untangled from her hair and set him on his feet. He stood there a moment, brushing himself off and his colors faded back to the normal blue with stripes.
He turned towards where Bellatrix was... then his eyes went HUGE seeing the snake with her, a sound half a choked cry and half a gasp escaped his lips, he took a stummbling step back and vanished aside from his eyes blending into the ground he stood on.
Rayne gave a groan, "Thats... his normal reaction to things." He murmured.

Bellatrix raises an eyebrow at the other Pae's reaction. She then turns her yellow eyes on Lenore.
"First, you don't tell me that you are bringing someone, and then you bring me someone that insults me in my own home?" she hisses.
Lenore rolls her eyes. "She says thank you for the compliment on her home, and that she does not mind his reaction."
Bellatrix hisses again, "If you are going to mistranslate, I will make it my mission to learn your inferior language as soon as possible."
"That's the point," Lenore hisses in responce.
"In sitting room?" Bellatrix says, her voice clipped now. "I bring . . . water for us." She gestures toward the silk potioning off the sitting room. Without a responce, she pulls back the curtain, and waits for the others to go through.
"She asks if you would like some water," Lenore translates as she makes her way toward the opening in the curtains.
