Ahadi might laugh again, just at the fact that she had been startled, but that also kept him from doing it. He might have to just calm down a bit, so she wouldn't have to jump this much! Still, he found it pretty endearing, the way she stumbled over her words. He was slightly disappointed at the news of her being in the Mantis clan, but still nodded.
"Wolf clan. I guess that means I'll have to run away to see you more often! " Well, he wouldn't really have to sneak out or anything. He was sure no one would really mind! So he had friends in other clans, that was a good thing!

"I-I don't quite think it's like running away," she informed him bashfully. It was probably what the lion had been thinking himself, but just in case he hadn't Ma'rihn was there to set him on the right path again. "But, I would appreciate you coming to visit me every now and again. Maybe we can meet up at some half-way point between our clans?" She paused, realizing that she sounded over-eager for another encounter. Swallowing down a ball of nerves that had lodged in her throat, she quickly amended her error. "Or... whatever is suitable for you, whatever we want to do, if we want to."
Ma'rihn flashed him a quick, but shy, smile, hoping that it would be enough to cover up for her 'blunder'.

He nodded in agreement. "You're completely right. " Not really running away, naah. That'd be untruthful! If anyone asked him, hey, were are you going? Ahadi wouldn't have to lie or anything! "I think that works really well! And if we ever bump intoeach other in other places, that's good too. " Besides, whatever she liked, was fine with him, too! He sighed after a moment, though. He probably should get back and do something useful!
"So, there's a big pond around here... somewhere. We could meet up there in a day or two, if you want? "

"Two days," she said quickly, and then realized she may have spoken it too quickly. Ma'rihn would have been fine meeting up with him tomorrow, but she was thinking that she would need the day to herself again to enjoy some time alone (and to ready herself for spending time with another lion - she hadn't spent a whole day with someone else in a long while, and it was a little nerve-wracking for her). "Ah, yes, I want to... I'm just a little busy tomorrow, so early the next day sounds good to me. I think I know which pond you're talking about, too."
She felt a little guilty for 'lying', but she really didn't want him to know that she was nervous over something so simple as hanging out with another lion. It was embarrassing, and Ma'rihn was not sure how much more embarrassment she could take today.

"That's fine! " He agreed happily. "Two days is perfect. " Any day is perfect for Ahadi, it's not like he ever had plans to do anything. Usually things just happened! So this was actually a little amusing for him. "Okay then. Well, Ma'rihn, it was great meeting you! " He began, backing up a bit. "But, I should probably go be somewhat useful for my clan now. " Because, you know, you gotta work for the things you like.
"Bye! I'll see you in two days! " And, waiting a few moments just in case she wanted to say bye (and not to look like he was in a hurry to leave her!), Ahadi turned and scurried along on his merry way back to the pride.

She was relieved that he seemed to find the date of their meet-up to be agreeable, doubtless she would have felt horrible if he had wanted to meet up sooner. "I will see you then, and ah, it was nice meeting you too!" She raised her paw to wave him an awkward 'good bye', but then quickly stopped the action when she thought it too juvenile of her. What was she, a cub? No, she was a full grown lioness, she needed to act like one more. "Bye!" she called out instead, which wasn't much better than waving good bye to him, but still preferable. With a little smile, she turned around and headed back towards her own clan. She was definitely done mingling for the day - it took a lot out of her to try and be more social.
