the only real difference between zano's and armycat's lists is that zano uses Gale and an extra Shogun (not needed, 2 works perfectly). in my honest opinion, 6S decks dont need Synchros, they work by themselves just fine.

Which is why they have top seat, and do well against the decks that do use Synchros. Ohwait.

Your opinion would be wrong.

um, no? There are many, many differences. He's not maxing out the monsters he needs to be maxing out and replaces em with sub-par cards. He's using 3 cunning for some god-forsaken reason and not running book of moon or MST. Call is just terrible in this deck, like worse than it is in BW bad, and 2 double edged sword techniques is too much, 1 is almost pushing it but good enough with gateway to keep. 3 Shoguns is god, I don't think drawing more of him is a bad thing considering how easy it is to get 2 sams out, lol. Gateway makes that almost a no issue now. Also, Gale is amazing and stand alone, not running it is retarded, and it giving you access to synchros is just an added bonus.

i never said 6S were Tier 1, and sadly they probably never will be. i was just stating that not every decent deck in the world has to run Synchros (enough of them do already). Samurais may not be the best deck to run anymore, but they're still good to have fun with. that's the purpose of every game in existence: to have fun.

Winning is fun. Guess what? Winning is also the objective, as it is for every game in existence. If no one tried to win, the game would no longer be fun.

So you can't be good and have fun then? umm, explain plz. I fail to see how 1 stand alone tuner in the deck would do anything but benefit anyway, lol.

I believe the whole "Fun vs Winning" subject has been covered enough times for us to just agree to disagree. Stop talking about it already.

Read your rulebook. What is the objective of the game? To win a match, a set of 3 duels starting with 8000 Life Points each duel. It's not belief, it's fact.

The objective of the Pokémon CCG? To win against your opponent. Magic: the Gathering, to win against your opponent. Uno, to be the first out, and win, against the party. Gold Fish, to win. Black Jack, to win. Stratego, to win. Chess, to win. Checkers, to win.

When you compete to win and finish first, it's exciting, and fun. You, and everyone else in this guild who tries to feed themselves bullshit saying winning isn't the point just try and use the excuse to escape from losing. But honestly, you get dissatisfied from not winning, that's why you also turn around and talk down about the meta, and b***h about what has to be banned next.

Winning is the point of the game, it's in the ******** rulebook. If you want to play a game with no winners, grab four of your buddies, and play Old Maid. At least in that card game there's only a loser.

the objective is to win. the purpose is entertainment. playing the game is fun, yet you keep missing this, and take this simple game (and every other you play, i'm sure) far too seriously. your mother never hugged you, i guess =/

I play to win, because competing to win is fun. I'm sure when you play, you play to win as well. Or are you telling me you enjoy playing to purposefully lose?

As far as how serious I am, I just do so to troll you people, since it gets on your nerves so very easily.

Sorry, but I can have plenty of fun dueling my friends, even if I lose. Sure winning is the objective, but you sure as hell can have fun while trying to do so. If you don't have fun or enjoy what you do, then why would you even bother playing it?

Tell me, when you play against your friends and lose, is it because you made yourself lose, or did you race to win and ended up last?

I play to win, but even if I lose, the point is to learn from your mistakes so you can do better next time. If your so focused on winning, then most likely you're not allowing yourself to have fun.

As for me, I play Yugioh for fun. To meet new people and play a card game that I enjoy. I didn't all of a sudden see Yugioh cards and go, "Oh, I'll play this card game so that I can go beat a bunch of other people and call myself the best." There must be some reason behind why people play Yugioh, and I'm 100% sure that not everyone wants to play just to win.

I'm done commenting on this, because you've already admitted that you post just to troll. All you're doing is making yourself seem like a depressing loser, and making an utter fool of yourself. Bye mrgreen

I'm making an utter fool of myself, when you just provided my answer? You all say you play for fun, but it's only fun when you compete to win.

If you dueled someone who just sat back and took the damage to his Life Points, making plays that everyone knows will do nothing, would that be fun for you?

Without the objective to win, the game becomes boring, because then there would be no purpose to it. In a direct and roundabout way, winning is everything this game is all about.
