The original black ranger was an Asian guy in the Super Sentai series in Japan.

in the english version didnt they just take the sences from the japanese one and do voice overs so they didnt have to tape it?

I still watch it, I don't like the new series in America though, I stopped liking things after Dino Thunder ended.
