"Sorry to confuse you, kid. Your mom was my sister, Cloud. Your dad was a good friend of ours son. His name was Jackie."
The Raichu poked the Pikachu's green cheek.
"You got those from him."
Storm cast red eyes towards Jasper who had finally snapped from his shocked state and was starring at the ground again.
"You can call me Uncle Storm, thats your Grandpa over there."
Attention back in focus.
Grandpa?
Jasper sighed then, "No. I'm not. Maybe technically, but trust me. You want nothing to do with me. I'm kinda ******** up.
He turned his back to them and made his way back onto the front pew.
Storm bristled.
He was just gonna give up?!
The Raichu seethed as he tried to calm down and think of the best approach to this.

   Amani & Jessica & NicoThe young Pikachu blinked.
"Uncle... and Grandad...?" He said.
"B-But what about me parents?! Where ah' 'dey?!" He then exclaimed.
He wanted to know everything.
"Amani, please, calm down..." Jessica pleaded.
There was then a loud BANG! near the entrance.
When Jessica turned to look, she saw the doors opened, but nobody there.
"..."
She was now a little scared.
"Awwww, what a lovely family reunion!~" An all too familiar voice shrieked with glee.

"They...they died. We are all members of an old guild when something swept through and tore it apart. Your mom got you out of there but she, she erm...she went back to help...the other Pokemon."
Storm blinked, surprised to find his eyes misting when the sudden BANG and he instantly bared his teeth.
Jasper was on his feet once more, standing in front of the two smaller Pokemon.
"Stay between us. Dont move out into the open." He ordered, and swept the two over towards Storm with his tail.
"Show yourself, old buddy! I've missed you!" Storm lashed out, voice dripping with venom.

Amani & Jessica & Nico"Dead...?" Amani quivered.
Well, at least he knew he had family.
Then, he heard the voice.
Amani and Jessica huddled together between Jasper and Storm.
Jessica shook as she unsheathed her dagger, just in case.
"Come on, Storm, ol' buddy, ol' pal!" The voice said.
"The father you so hated is right there!" It then added.
"Why don't you kill him?! Or wait, did big bad Storm grow a conscience?"
Suddenly, Nico was standing by the podium.
"Pathetic..." He hissed.

Storm snarled and lunged after the Weavile.
"I wont have a problem killing you, Nico!"
"Storm-Dont-" s**t! The older Raichu couldnt follow without leaving Jessica and Amani unguarded.
He frowned at this, watching Nico through that one narrowed eye.
He seemed different.
Even more insane than before, if that was possible.
"Daddy?" A small voice called from near the door and Jasper's fur stood on end.
Oh hell.
Little Rayne toddled in, oblivious to the chaos that had erupted.
Storm hit the breaks almost instantly.
"RAYNE! GO! RUN!"

Amani & Jessica & NicoAmani's ear twitched when he heard that young female voice.
"No!" He exclaimed as he turned around.
Nico was now standing behind Rayne.
The Weavile had the tip of his claw lightly hovering above the Pichu's head.
"What a girl you've made, Storm!" Nico said.
He got down on one knee and opened his arms.
"Come on! Come to Uncle Nico!~" He then squealed.
As he said this, his eye twitched a little.
"RUN!" Jessica pleaded.

Rayne's little ears twitched. She cocked her head to the side at this odd Weavile. Uncle? Daddy didnt tell her she had any Uncles.
"Dammit, Nico! Touch her and I swear to Arceus-", but he didnt have to worry. Rayne apparently didnt like this Pokemon and went racing towards her dad as fast as her stubby little legs and over sized tail would let her.
Storm scooped the Pichu up, almost hysterical.
That had been too close.
Jasper hissed, taking this chance while Nico was still down and Storm was near those kids.
He lunged forward teeth snapping in a Fire Fang.

Amani & Jessica & NicoNico frowned when Rayne ran away from him.
"Aw, what a shame. I might have let you live, little girl. Oh well~" He purred evilly.
His eyes widened even more when Jasper came at him with a Fire Fang.
In a flash of movement, he rolled out of the way.
"That was quite rude, Mr. Thundertail!" The Weavile hissed.
"I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to calm down!"
The Weavile slowly stood up.
"If you want to die so early, then be my guest. But, if you still want a little more time on this Earthly plain, I suggest you send over one of your party to come with me. Then, I'll leave~" He bargained.
Jessica buried her face in Amani's fur.
They were both scared shitless.

"Storm."The black Raichu lifted his head at his name.
"Take these kids out the back. Go to the hospital and let Vito know that his nephew's funeral will be soon."
Storm nodded slowly, Rayne on his head and stepped around towards Jessica and Amani, nudging them towards the back.
"Dont run yet, wait til your out of sight and go to the hospital."
He certainly wasnt leaving his father here alone.
The second they were out he'd have them leave and take Rayne with them of course.
Jasper waited for a moment before speaking.
"...I'm not letting you near them. You'll have to settle for me." He growled, cheeks sparking and braced himself.
After hearing what had happened to Leon it was clear Nico was a lot stronger now.

 Amani & Jessica & NicoAmani nodded and held Jessica close as they did as Storm told them.
Nico frowned for a moment, but then gave a large, toothy grin.
"Mr. Thundertail, always the hero!" He giggled.
"Even when he has on the facade of a mercenary who needs no one, he must always be the hero!"
His left claws began to convulse a little.
"I hate heroes..." He hissed.
An explosion of blood, and Nico's left arm was replaced with a lively tentacle.

"Head to the hospital. Theres a Weavile named Vito there. Let him know whats going on would you? And can you watch her?"
He nuzzled Rayne and set her in Jessica's arms before turning and bounding back into the cathedral.
"I'm no hero." The Raichu replied, with little force behind his words.
He didnt want Nico of all Pokemon telling him what he already knew.
That this whole act was a shield, a mask to hide behind.
With a growl he leapt forward and swung around with an Iron Tail, slicing it at the Weavile like a blade.

Amani & Jessica & NicoJessica took Rayne in her arms and nodded.
"Les' go," Amani said quietly.
The two then left together, keeping Rayne safe.
Nico brought up his mutated arm, blocking the blade with a bony blade of his own.
"I wont let you stand between me and my Utopia!" The Weavile hissed as he swung his arm like a bladed whip at Jasper.

Storm burst through the doors in time to watch that whip slice across his father's face, but Jasper had dealt with attacks like that before.
Those scars werent fake you know.
Before the black Raichu could leap into fight a Weather Ball sent him hurtling back into a row of pews.
"Wha-what?!"
"Stay down Storm! I cant fight and protect you at the same time!"
"I dont need prot-"
Protect? Wait then that meant...
"I...forgive you. For everything." The older Raichu said with a smirk before sending a flury of Thunder attacks at Nico.

NicoNico stretched his mutated arm into the air, causing it to act like a lightning rod and take all of the Thunder attacks.
"Touching. Makes me wonder if my father ever forgave me!" He shouted.
"I wonder what he thinks about as he rots in his corner of hell, just like your little Liena!"
He sent the arm straight at Jasper in an attempt to impale him.

Jasper's face twisted in rage.
How dare he?! How dare he even say her name! That b*****d didnt even deserve to speak it!
He gave a beast-like roar and lunged at the Weavile, recklessly moving past that strange arm, but got stabbed through the shoulder for his troubles.
Storm sat immobolized, eyes widening. s**t, Nico had finally gone mad! And he....he had been a close second. Thank Arceus that...well...it hadnt turned out that way.
At the sight of his father's blood he snapped back to reality and moved in for a Volt Tackle at Nico's side.
Jasper grinned, arm twisted around to hold that blade in place, pinning Nico from moving away.
"I'd tell you to say Hi to your dad for me, but your not going to where he is. Your going straight to hell!"
