She had decided to ignore him. She had decided to ignore him very hard, except she was still going to walk him back to Hillworth. That was polite. That was good and just, and it was part of being a senshi.

"Simon is a good friend," she said instead. "He gives the best piggyback rides." Virgo smiled, grabbing Parker's sleeve in time to knock the lens of his camera off kilter--completely on accident, as she wasn't even looking his way right then. When the flash went off, she turned and stared at him for a moment. "You know, you're supposed to ask," she said, totally hypocritical.

With a roll of her shoulders, she reached for the camera; taking it in both hands, she fiddled with the settings and dials, then handed it back. "You had it on the wrong settings for night shooting, especially if people are gonna be moving around," she explained. "If you wanted pictures, all you had to do was ask. That was mean."

That was why Virgo was so glad his picture had gotten messed up.

How old was Virgo? Parker wasn't certain. She seemed like she was in high school, didn't she? Parker couldn't remember the last time he was involved in any kind of piggyback-ride situation. Was that even common at their age? The girl was interesting, certainly, but Parker wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not.

His photo endeavor was a total failure. Virgo batted the camera away before he had a chance to react. Great. "Sorry," he said, though it was obvious the apology was shallow and meaningless. Then Virgo did something unexpected. She... fixed his camera? And offered to let him take a photo?

Wait, what?

Parker glanced down at his camera and checked the settings Virgo had placed on it. Oh, weird. He didn't know it had a night setting, which made the tech-nerd in him cringe. How could he overlook that? Glancing back up, Parker eyes Virgo as if she was a strange breed of creature he had never met before (which was a little true). "Um... can I... take your picture?" Seriously, if this was all he had to do to photograph the senshi, then he had been wasting his time in all previous attempts.

She hadn't expected him to really apologize, so she brushed off the apology with a 'whatever'. Nor had she expected him to really ask, so she stared at him for a moment and then said, "You can take a picture of me and I won't move in it if you let me walk you back to Hillworth," prissily. "Or where-ever you live, if you don't go there."

Virgo was pretty sure he did. The way he had tried to bite off her face when she'd made an offhand comment did go along with the mental image she had of "boys who belong in Hillworth"--consisting of Simon's roommates and Parker--against "boys who don't belong in Hillworth," which happened to consist solely of Simon and Howl at this point.

Of the camera, she said, "It's a good camera, for a point-and-shoot, you can do lots of stuff with it."

Parker wanted the picture. So he had to eat s**t.

"Okay, yeah. You can walk me back to Hillworth," he said, lifting the camera. He glanced through the viewfinder and then up to Sailor Virgo. "Do you want to... pose or something?" Taking a photo of her just standing there was fine, but if there could be some kind of action to it, that might nice. He was admitting he went to Hillworth and letting her walk him home. Didn't that earn a pose?

Though he wouldn't admit it, Parker liked when senshi were around. He still wasn't one to buy into all the "we're the good guys!" logic he'd had thrown at him, but he knew one thing: they weren't intentionally attacking him. Even though he'd been injured as a result of a senshi attack before. With Virgo beside him, he wouldn't have to worry about running into anything or anyone less pleasant.

He could stand her that long.

Haha! She had won. Or... well, Virgo thought she'd won, which is what mattered, so she quite happily posed. If Parker had been hoping for badassery, he was sorely disappointed, because Virgo could not be anything except adorable. She posed, reaching out in that awkward position that she always felt like assuming after henshining up, he snapped the picture.

Virgo hurried over to investigate the picture and sighed. "You definitely need to work on your composition," she told him, intending nothing but kindness. "It's good focus, though. Excuse me--" She picked him up, bodily, which must have been grating because he was tall, like five ten, and she was small, like five three. So she picked him up, and loped forward.

"Don't worry," she said, "I know where Hillworth is."

And she was quiet, all the way back.
