Deil was surprised at her response, but decided that there was nothing he could do about it. She's strong. She's been finding a way to hold it in all these years, so she'll find the right time to let it out. Deil let his hand drift back into the water and warm itself up. When she entered the changing room, he decided he would wait a moment and let her set off for the inn alone if she wanted to. After a couple minutes of trying to enjoy the warmth of the pool, Deil got out and made his way to the changing room. He picked up his spare towel on the way and dried off in the changing room. After he put on his clothes and weights and chains, he walked out into the reception area. He payed for his time there, and then walked toward the inn alone.
[No, that's fine. It actually portrays your character better.]

Aimi walked toward the springs hoping to catch someone she could talk to. She hadn't seen any of her friends around the village in a long time. She'd been holed up in her room, crying at how pathetic she was. She thought she saw Leo, but couldn't tell if he was coming or going.

Just as Aimi turned the corner to the springs, she heard a voice come from her right, from a man lying on a bench just before the entrance to the springs..."Well it's about time you showed up." Looking over at the bench, you could clearly see Cobra lying down, his draping clothes and scarf hanging down to the ground as his hat covered his head, muffling his voice slightly as he rested his hands on his stomach, relaxing in the warm sun.

"I wondered how long it would be before you showed up, but I must admit, just lying here hasn't been so bad. So, what took you so long in getting here?" Cobra's voice was relaxed and he made no motion to get up, or even to raise his head to look at Aimi, though he seemed to have known exactly when she had arrived, even though she would never had noticed him on the bench unless he had said something to her first.

Aimi almost jumped out of her skin as the powerful shinobi greeted her. It was always a bit off putting when a bench starts to speak and Aimi made it a habit not to converse with furniture. Her cheeks became pale, flustered as she was."Holy... You scared me for a bit there. I...emm.. I was just busy? Didn't know you were waiting on me." She had no intention of informing him she'd been bawling her eyes out, how pathetic would that be?

She put her hands on her hips, calming down more as she grew back into her skin,"So what business do you have with me? I thought after the exams you'd washed your hands of me."

"Oh?...I've washed my hands of you have I?...interesting. I would think I would have known such a thing had I done it." Cobra still hadn't moved at all, but the bench he was lying on began to melt into mud as he melted along with it, seeping into the ground before reemerging from the stone in front of Aimi, his form coming into view as he stood with his arms crossed directly in front of her.

'Now tell me, why exactly would I do such a thing? Seems to me that you only wash your hands of things which are undesirable." Cobra waited patiently for a response, staring down at Aimi as he did so, making himself to seem as imposing as possible. He wasn't very tall, but being fully covered in draped clothing with the added height of his hat and his confidence made him seem much taller then he actually was.

Aimi let her brilliant emerald eyes drop to the side, away from his ominous gaze. She was deathly afraid of him, her fingers curling up by her sides as she tried to find the words and fight back the tears she still had left. "Well.. that test. My team did so poorly, all because of me. I was the leader. I should have pulled us together and managed to complete the trial.

"True, your team failed the challenge and it's possible that if you had lead them better they could have pulled it together, but its not always your fault. I'm not saying it was the case in this instance, but a mission doesn't always fail due to incompetency on the leader's behalf." Cobra began to pace slowly around Aimi, not specifically speaking to her directly, but speaking to the air around her as he circled her.

"Failure is a funny word. So many people take it to mean that nothing was accomplished, when in fact, a failure can sometimes be more desirable then a victory. The instructors weren't grading you, or anyone else based on completion of the test, but on the effort during it. A person's ability to perform to the best of their ability with what they can is more the sign of a good ninja then anything else. So never you mind what your team did... how do you think YOU did? who pulled your team through the tunnel? Who persevered through the test?... who figured out the puzzle by trying things rather then sitting bored in the room? Who actually tried to break through Chill's defenses, or attempted to figure out what to do after wards?"

Aimi grew a bit more excited, more pleased with herself as Cobra gave her examples of the things she had done well during the test, though not explicitly pointing to her of course. She looked back up, eyes shimmering a bit,"I don't want to get a big or, but I think I preformed admirably. I threw myself head first into each trial, hoping I'd be well prepared enough to best it.." She paused for a moment before continuing, "I can also guess that if I hadn't preformed to your standards that we wouldn't be speaking at this moment."

Stopping in front of Aimi as she responded to him, cobra gave her a sly smile, reaching into his sleeve to pull out a scroll, holding it out in front of him to present it to Aimi. "With skills of perception like those... I don't see how you could ever doubt yourself. so much of being a Chuunin is knowing what must be done and having the strength and the courage to then do it. Throwing yourself head on into uncertain territory with nothing but your own abilities to carry you through, well, that's just what being a ninja is all about.

Cobra tossed the scroll to Aimi, expecting her to catch it easily as he smiled once more... "Congratulations Aimi! You now have the right to call yourself a Chuunin! That scrolls carries all of your results and the official notification to your higher ups. Always remember, that gaining rank as a ninja isn't the end goal... it's only the beginning. I wish you good luck. Enjoy the springs!" cobra smiled once more before he slowly began to sank, his feet and legs disappearing into the ground in front of Aimi as more and more of him disappeared below the surface before he was completely gone.

Aimi caught the scroll, almost letting it hit her in the face as she was dumbstruck by what he was saying. She was overcome with joy from this little turn of events. She ripped open the scroll and read the contents, hers eyes wide at the writing. She almost wanted to hug the strange man, but he was already gone. She took off toward the Hokage's office, yelling over her shoulder,"Thank you!", she was sure he heard her somehow.

Azura walked into the springs, she was aalready sweating. "When they said hot, they really meant it." She said, taking off her coat. "That's better." She said, step one was to clean, and two was to find some ring. "I'd better get started." She said, first starting to clean the floor first. She didn't see any rings yet. "This is going to take forever." She said with a sigh. Cleaning floors wasn't really a specialty of her's. She kept her eyes open for anything that looked remotly like a ring, but kept cleaning all the while. She hoped by luck, she'd find it, and luck wasn't something she had much of either.[1/5]

Azura sighed. "This is the longest front hallway I've ever been in." She said, and even worse, being so long, the chance of finding a tiny ring was slim. Only a fifth of the front hallway was clean, and she was making slow progress because of the search which seemed to be her main priority. She looked back at her first part and saw how well she'd done. She saw she waas almost done here too. "How does a front hallway start to look like this anyway?" She asked herself, she was still irritated she couldn't use any jutsus she learned, but all she knew was the academy jutsus anyway.[2/5]

Azura was still cleaning, focusing more on that than finding a ring. He noticed she was doing a better job than she thought she would. "Ok, I think I can do this, maybe I can make a clone and it'll do this for me." She joked to herself. Once again, the question that came to mind was how did a floor start to end up in such a bad condition. "Things are going better than I could have hoped for, I'm finishing fast!" She said, that kept her going forward, mostly because she was about to finish her mission. It was still not a very good test of her abilities though. She looked behind herself again, the floor was practically sparkling. With a sigh, she moved forward to the next section of the hall.[3/5]

Azura saw a glint off in the distance. "Ah, the ring!" She said, running straight towards it. She felt somebody jerk her shoulder.
"Not until you clean this part of the hall too." She laughed nervously. "I was getting to it." She said with a really bored sigh. She started to clean the second to last part of the front hallway. "Ugh, this is worst than the last section." She said. She was finally able to finish, she even did the hallwalls just to be sure that this place wasn't messed up again. "Now I get get that ring...right after I finish the last section." Azura said with a shudder.[4/5]

Azura finally started on the last part of the front hallway. It wasn't as bad as the others, so she didn't have to go overboard and clean the walls. She picked up the ring and looked at it for a second. "So this is it." She said, pocketing it. Since the owner was obviously no longer in the area, she'd probably have to turn it into the temporary Hokage. She walked out of the hotsprings, picking up her coat on the way out. "I'm finally finished." She said, running back too the Hokage's mansion.[5/5]

As the group traveled farther and farther from the gates, Misuki began to feel anxious at the fact that they haven't passed a single food stand this whole time. So far all the buildings they've passed by so far have been either residental buildings or still opened shops. Feeling slightly nervous, Misuki cast her glance upward and was happy to see whips of smoke. 'There. Smoke indicates a stove meaning that I should be leading them in the right direction.' With newfound confindence in her current lack of direction, Misuki continued to lead the group in the general direction of what she believed to be the food district...

...'Okay, this is so not excatly how I pictured my first leadership role in front of my student to go. OMG, this is so embrassing, I must look like such a fool...' Releasing a nervous giggle, Misuki dreadfully turned to face her companions. "Um, well guys as you can see, I've somehow managed to direct us to the hotsprings instead so how about we just take a quick dip before dinner." Tapping her hands nervously against her thighs, Misuki was suddenly reminded of the fast, quick beat resounding through her ears from her sound device. Moving her left hand to readjust the beat to something more relaxing, Misuki nervously glanced at Deil and Hikaru wondering just what there reactions might be.

[wow, all these months have passed, and our last visit at the springs is still on this page! XD ]
Deil was getting excited at the sight of the smoke as well, but was curious as to why he did not smell food. Hmm, I wonder if Misuki knows... he turned the corner to see the hot springs, and hear Misuki`s proclamation. Oh My Kami! I`M SO HUNGERY! Deil`s stomach protested, but he did his best to appear unconcerned. If you can handle the pain of the 8 gates, then a little hunger should be fine, right? Just hold out a little longer. Deil gave a half chuckle along with a forced smile that would make it look like he was more likely to fart then say anything. "Yeah, some relaxation sounds nice! Besides, it couldn`t be helped, neh? Karma, neh? Deil stopped his fake smile, figuring that it fooled nobody, and tried to focus on the positive. Food is still a short walk away, the springs are good, AND I`m getting to spend time with Misuki. Deil just kept thinking about those things, and watched for their reactions.

Havik landed on a building close to Deil and Mistuki and said "I thought it was you two. How ya been?" after talking Havik jumped down to them holding the fresh rice balls and sace.
He wondered what his village members had been up to as he waited for his replys to the question he asked.
