Believing in God, my parents weren't very religous (can't say the same for the rest of my family). Non the less, when I was younger, I had more faith in God, but now, I feel it slipping away, I'm just not very Christian anymore. I guess you can blame my parents xD jk... What I've come to believe is, religion is a way to control people, with promises of an afterlife if they have faith and follow the rules.

I believe everyone is here for a reason. How we got here, we don't know. It is beyond our own human reason. I believe there is a God. For a time, I didn't think He existed. I questioned whether there was something other than the physical, something we cannot see or comprehend.
I believe that people who don't believe in a god(s) do so because they cannot comprehend or accept the fact that there may be something far greater than the practicalities of the human.
It is impossible to comprehend the mystery of God. I believe because I know there is something there. I accept the fact that I can't see it or hear it. It does not control my daily life, which is a common misconception.
I'm happy with believing in a God.

You can't believe in something that is not there. My belief is that there was once some great king that ruled over a massive tribe and that tribe believed him to be so great that upon his death they made him their god, and his people have believed in him ever since. After many hundreds of years however, the several people came together to think of a way to control people, make them obey them, and those men came up with the Ten Commandments, just to control these pathetic buggers. That is the main reason why I am a Sun-Worshiper, although I pray to Joe Pesci.
