books; harry potter books, white oleander, kafka on the shore, lolita, animal farm, the lovely bones, memoirs of a geisha, the hot zone, prozac nation, everything francesca lia block.
movies (admittedly a lot of these i prefer as books but...); eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, girl, interrupted, the secret garden, let the right one in, but i'm a cheerleader, tank girl, anything miyazaki.

Favourite movies are: Phantom of the Paradise, The Dark Crystal, and Spirited Away.
Favourite books are: The Wild Road series, and Watership Down.
Actually, I'm not just into anthropomorphic fantasy, though I do like the genre. But those books have the most well-constructed prose I have ever read.
Also like the Abhorsen Trilogy, the Rogue Mage trilogy, and stuff by Neil Gaiman.
