I think the worgen are tough looking because the horde has all the rough looking characters. Lets face it before the belf the horde was ugly. And I would rather not trade since that would be two freakishly small races in bg's.
Gnomes have always been the spot for gnome punting and other jokes. With the goblin now the alliance has a chance to start hating us as we have our own small race.

If you read the lore, and I mean all the lore, Blizzard very much favors the Horde. While the Horde did commit terrible atrocities, it was done under demonic influence, not of their own will. Humans, on the other hand, have done horrible things, all of their own doing.
You know, kinda like real life.
Anyway, lorewise, Blizz has always favored the Horde. If I remember right, Blizz's CEO is an Undead Warlock!

Level 80 Warlock Stat-wise, Goblins look sick.
Racially, I'm extremely pissed off about it. If I wanted to play a midget, I'd roll Alli.
Also- Goblin voices are enough to drive my head up my own a**. They irritate the fucking balls out of me. Omg, I hate that "NYAH!" noise they do when they hit s**t. Without having to add another post, I'd like to just say that while Blizzard may or may not favor one or the other, each faction has their own ups and downs. Horde has a FAR much easier time getting around while leveling, as all of their starting zones are very close together and leveling itself is more streamlined, while Alliance have to travel a slight bit more to get around until they get that lovely port to Dalaran or Shattrath. TBC added on to Horde lore, while Wrath centered on Alliance. There's not really a game of who-likes-who more, it's just whether YOU like Horde or Alliance more. Of course if you play Horde you're going to expect more to be done with your faction. Alliance players do the same.

She does have a point as well as the one above. Obviously your going to favor whatever side you play the most, such as mine is horde. Then those that play alliance wont likely play horde and visa versa. And yes in a way Blizz does favor horde more. I mean come on Thrall is one hell of a character. But while the horde has done horrible things as previously stated they were under the burning legions control, while undead were under Arthas control. Tauren arent exactly the evil type they're just more balanced with nature. Belf were persecuted by the humans for seeking help when it was given from what the humans believed to be a threat...which in the end was a threat. The only really evil ones would be trolls, the trolls of the darkspear tribe just decided to break away from the others.
Humans have done alot and saved a lot so in a way they are good, however they did treat the belf as racist bigots. Dwarves stayed mostly underground and joined the alliance, gnomes sought refuge as gnomey burned, dranai landed from space, night elves....thats a harder one...they at one point fought with the orcs to stop the taint of the world tree but turned away as they were corrupted and kept desecrating their forests as well as killed their god Cenarius.
Gah...why am I going into a history lesson? sweatdrop shutting up now.

Lord Blade Icestorm Thrall is one hell of a character god is this ever truth. the lore of this man is utterly awesome. then blizz tried making an Alliance Thrall in King 'the horde killed my daddy in a war so im all super pissy with them' Wrynn but god did they ever fail. i guess it will work more in Cat when its him and Garrosh(who obviously has been tainted like his father before him) since they're basically the same character. but, you ask me, you want to focus on someone in the Alliance, ******** Jaina. she is so the thrall of the alliance. trying to keep everyone at least slightly sane. and didnt she kill her own pops to preserve the peace? i swear i'm freakin psyched for the lore of Cat to see what the hell happens in her.

Heh, so people are interested in what I had to say. XD
I played a good bit of the original warcraft to know the lore of it. I never did read it but the game itself has one hell of a storyline. Like the whole reason Arthas went loco is because he was driven by his revenge to kill Malganus. And once he got his hands on the blade Frostmourne his soul was corrupted by the original lich king, who was created by the demon Sargaras. Heck in a way Illidin wasnt evil at all, he was outcast because he sought different means to kill Sargaras and eventually became his servant. Sargaras used him to try and kill the original lich king.

i know people say arthas is just some tortured soul who is misunderstood but they fail to realize that that he was under no thrall when he wiped out stratholme. now illidan, yes he was corrupted and screwed over: first by family and then by sargaras. and every time he tried to do right it ends horribly, horribly wrong
also: in an unrelated note, i heard that Malfurion is coming back in Cat.
i sooooo cant wait to see him go sick-house on Fandral. hate that a*****e so damn much
