Still atop her father's shoulders Carina reached out towards the large mass of grey disk wearing blobs ." Purple come back, " the words were mildly distressed becuase Carina couldn't tell him apart from the others and she did not want to lose him. It had been okay when he'd been bouncing around and one of them had bounced of her father's knees making him curse. She'd been sure that purple come back and nest in her hair again when he was done being excited but the smoke thing never had and now she was worried.
The pink eyed girl had no idea how a building could feel bad or how to help one that was. She listened to the strange blue haired lady but most of the toddlers focus was on trying to get purple back.
Bastion already had a bone to pick with Switch and this wasn't helping his feelings about the woman. The idea that he truly had been lured here was also less than pleasing news to the dark haired man. Though the fact that this wasn't some conspiracy against him or his type in particular was reassuring. For now he'd play along and gather information. " How exactly are we supposed to help?" As he spoke Bastion squeezed Carina's legs gently to reassure and hopefully comfort her.

Greloren sighed happily as their little wispy creature spotted several others just like it and zoomed off. He lowered his arm, not dropping the newspaper, but relaxing some. The half-elf rested his other hand on top of Ryan's head, the bumpy boy having scooted towards his guardian to cling to one leg. There were lots of people here! And he'd spotted the crazy girl from the bus. The others... he didn't know, but they could be crazy people too!!
Greloren's head snapped up at one point. Luring people?! You mean he'd been LURED here to get a FREAKING SEX TOY?! Grrrrr.... The half-elf wasn't exactly in the mood now to help out, but stayed silent. Others were already asking what was going to be required of them. He wouldn't offer his help just yet. But he wasn't going to back out just yet either.

The second ‘Switch’ started talking Ophelia stiffened and took a step back into the shadows of the store, taking Pilot with her and expecting Morpheus to follow. Looking worriedly between Ophelia and Switch Morpheus was just about to voice his questions when the thing took off zooming around the room before.
Pilot gave out a sigh of relief at Nom-Nom finally leaving him and watched in curiosity as the grey things became one giant ball of crazy. When the lady that had greeted them spoke up again he gave her his full attention, as did Ophelia and Morpheus. When she said that the shop had been angsting his eyes widened, for it to be angsting it had to be alive which in his mind immediately equated the shop to Hogwarts. That just made the place even cooler and defiantly had Pilot wanting to help. He was turning to his Mom to insist on their help when he noticed the looks on her face. He’d never seen it before, it sort of looked like she was looking through everything and it kind of scared him.
“What is it Luna?” Morpheus asked in as quiet of voice as he could manage. Ophelia just help up a finger to her lips before taking a wide eyed Pilots hand and then picking him up to keep him close.

Green eyes wandered the room, falling on each person within as they reacted to 'her' news. From the little Gargoyle that nodded, to the Alien woman who agreed to help, to the pair who quietly talked amongst themselves, to the dark man who questioned her and finally to the small, unrelated group that seemed to be waiting for an answer.
"A good question." The figure with Switch's voice answered, turning a little bit to look back at a nearby shelf, stepping over to it and reaching out to take a hold of a red plastic cup with a white interior, the kind frat parties tended to favor. "You do what I cannot, and what she has failed to do." 'Switch' said, holding the cup tenderly and observing it sadly, a hint of pity in its expression. The cup was set down, and around it formed a gift box, a red one with white ribbon. "There are eight items in this room, this cup included, that are aching for a home, each of them so close to bursting to life. There are seven Guardians here, and one boy willing to help." Green eyes moved to observe Xbalanque, who was staring suspiciously at the figure wearing his Na's appearance. "Now don't worry, you will not have to foster them. You are going to deliver them." At this point, the figure was under the impression that they would all help without much delay - the Alien woman was all for it of course - but it would not hesitate to lock them in here if need to, to use the smoke creatures to 'persuade' them to do as asked.
"I will watch your children while you do this for me." 'Her' head tilted and a sweet smile rested on her lips. "Will you help me?" 'She' repeated, still not expecting any resistance.
(( Guardians! Here's a kinda fun part (and now we understand what I meant when I said "COP OUT YAY!")! Each of you has 'One Free Curio' they can give to a friend if they wish. The item is up to them, and they just need to PM Switch Gear with the custom form...and of course I need to know who gave them the Curio. You can't keep it for yourself, and if you can't find someone who would want one, we're going to have a flatsale to give the rest of them away.
For example...the cup 'Switch' held? I offered my 'One Free Curio' to DecayingThorn, who accepted and sent me a form for a Plastic Cup Frat Boy. Any questions about this, just ask Switch/Enoh! ))

The Satyr heard everyone's reactions but said nothing. What could she say? She had no qualms against helping Switch and never would but then again it could all change over time but for now she blatantly trusted the woman despite the unexpected responsibility that was plopped onto her lap one day once she left the shop with the statue in hand as her 'reward'. Luis was actually thankful for the small girl that held her hand and so what better way to show her appreciation other than performing a small delivery or two for Switch? With a free hand Luis scratched at her jaw thoughtfully before she murmured a soft, "Aye, I'll do it so long as y'take care o' m'Faris."
Now Faris had a small objection. She didn't need to be taken care of, "Na'uh! I has to protect mama ... and, and...." she trailed off as she tried to think of further valid arguments that would help her case but being so young she could think of nothing and went into pout-phase.
Luis gazed down at her daughter and cleared her throat a bit, "F'give me. So long as y'let Faris stay 'ere and protect the shop," she amended. Sure something about this was rubbing her the wrong way, just a tad but again she couldn't pinpoint why and couldn't come up with a reason as to why she shouldn't assist.
Faris seemed to settle down a bit after the amendment and stopped looking sulky.

Aw, man! Ryan was ignoring her! Evari pouted at that, narrowing her eyes at the bumpy boy in a 'You're gonna regret that' kind of way. No one was allowed to ignore Evari! Especially not people she knew! Ooooh, when she got her hands on that boy! She tugged at Xai's hand to try and pry herself free, but the Ursontaean's hand didn't budge even an inch. Bah! Let goooo! Whispering sounds caught her ear and she looked around, spotting another group whispering to themselves. Hey! Heyheyhey! Secrets didn't make friends! If they were gonna say something they should share it with everyone else too! Evari wanted to know what they were saying.
Unlike her daughter Xai paid no attention to the other in the shop just yet, though she did blink and glance back at the man who asked what they needed to do to help. Ooh, true! She didn't even think of that! That kind of thing was important, wasn't it? Hm..true! Oh dear. Luckily Switch answered the question and Xai turned back to her with obvious curiosity. Do what Switch couldn't and what...'she' failed to do? "She?" Xai couldn't help but ask. Was there another person somewhere around here they didn't know? She kept quiet after that, listening to their instructions with a little headtilt and wide, curious eyes. Ooh! Did this mean they got to go digging around for items? Oh, what fun! This wasn't bad at all; how strange that Switch had to send these weird smoke creatures instead of simply asking herself. Oh well! "I would be happy to help!" Though she'd already said that, she figured it'd be safe to reassure the nice lady after being told their task. Evari was bored now, grumping and hanging limp from Xai's hand with a little swing side to side. Let gooooooo! Like magic Xai finally released Evari's hand and sent the girl to the floor with a tiny 'oof!' Oops! She blinked and looked down at her daughter.
"Are you alright, Evari?" Evari nodded, rolling over and scrambling to her feet. Hm...where to go where to go...Faris? Ryan? Kay? Oooh maybe the new kids! Ohoh! Or she could grab and play with the little weird thingies with the one eyes and the burping and the high-pitched voices! So many decisions. The life of Evari was certainly a tough one.

Morpheus got a confused look on his face as the woman continued to talk. Items coming to life? What was she babbling abou-
Oh.
Right. So that was where Pilot came from, he turned to his sister to see if she had come to the same conclusion only to see her giving him a ‘what took you so long’ look. “Could have filled me in sooner Luna.” He whispered in a sarcastic tone. She just gave a huff and a pointed look. Right the whole ‘I only speak up when its time’ thing. He hated that, so did Ophelia.
Pilot looked at the two adults and finally gave up on understanding what they were saying; Mom’s name was Ophelia not Luna. Looking around for something else to concentrate on his eyes fell on a girl that was staring at them. She was bright and really colourful, as in ‘OHGODMYEYES’. He considered risking his eyesight to go over and say hi but she seemed to lose attention in them so he decided against it.
"Morpheus you shall stay with Pilot," she said to him in a wisper before turning to the one who asked this task of them and saying, "I will help you.". With that she passed Pilot to Morpheus with a stern look that told him to keep him close and then stepped out of their little corner to join the main group.

If Deimos had been difficult before he only became more so as the woman spoke of the parents going out to deliver things for her while the children were forced to stay behind. He didn't like it, he didn't like it one bit! He didn't want to stay behind in an unhappy building with people he didn't know or even want to know. He wanted to stay with his parents... its why he he wrapped himself around his Daddy Reu best that he could, hands grasping at him, "No... Don't leave me behind." He murmured, gazing up at Reu in a frightened manner.
Jiang looked at the boy before he reached up a hand to stroke it over his hand in a soothing manner, "Shh, shh... its alright Deimos." He murmured in a reassuring manner, not wanting for him to be so scared... not that he wasn't always scared of something but it seemed to be to a different degree at the moment since he thought they were going to leave him behind. As he soothed him his gaze lifted to looking up at Reu, "Are we going to help deliver things?" He asked in a hushed voice.

Bastion was not exactly keen to foist a kid on some poor unsuspecting person, hell not even on a person he hated never mind one he might like. Still, "What happens if they come to life without a family or whatever?" Assuming the strange item kids could manifest at all without some sort of human contact. Though he had asked the question Bastion was not yet committing to anything despite previous thoughts of going along with things and investigating. Also the way Switch was talking seemed off at the moment and made him highly uncomfortable.
Carina, who was now actually paying attention frowned. She didn't want to be here without her father, especially what with Purple now unfindable. There were lots of neat others yes and the girl was curious about them, but she was becoming a bit overwhelmed. Perhaps if her brother had been there as extra support it wouldn't have been as bad. "Let me come with you" she urged her father. "I'll help", after all she could make a swirly pattern on her hand and wave it about so someone would take the gift just like how Purple made her father come here.

Reumiae sighed. "I'm afraid we must." he told his mate and pet Deimos's head. However, the dark haired man turned to look at "Switch". "May we take our younger son with us? Deimos is better not left with strangers." he said, holding the boy protectively. "Wynn may stay if he chooses but if we are allowed to take Deimos, it would be best."

Greloren grunted. So he was demoted to being a delivery boy, huh? Craptastic. He was muttering several choice curse words under his breath until Reumiae's question caught his attention. "Uh... yeah. Same here." He glanced down at Ryan, who was clinging rather tightly to his leg. "Ryan doesn't do well with strangers..."
The bumpy boy might have been able to be convinced to stay with just "Switch" as he liked the blue-haired lady. But there was the crazy girl and lots and lots of other kids he hadn't ever met! SCARY!!!

The figure looked around, smiling lightly at those that offered to help, the smile faltering at the ones who both questioned her and...seemed to want to take their children. Now that simply would not do!
"I'm afraid I can not describe accurately how horrible it would be if the children materialized here, and even worse homeless!" Its green eyes was on Bastion, seemingly shocked and mildly disgusted at the thought. Children without parents, how horrible! "As for those of you who wish to bring your children...I'm afraid I must ask you to leave them here. I am here, and the lovely Faris will be protecting them right along side me." A small smile was cast towards the eager little Gargoyle, before it's attention went up to the mass of chittering gray matter. "I'm afraid the children and I have some very important matters to discuss, so please don't think ill of me...the shop can't wait any longer." It said gracefully, snapping it's fingers.
The ball broke apart, once more becoming seperate and bouncing around the room, each of them taking a trip into the shop and returning with a decorative box. The boxers were easy to carry, light and about the size of a ring box. Boxes in tow, each creature flew back to one of the Guardians, shrieking loudly in pure joy. The room became a loud mass of quickly chattering creatures, who handed their box to the Guardians while using their power of hypnosis to convince them to leave the children behind, to help Switch, and of course where to bring the item.
The box that the figure held had disappeared entirely; apparently it decided that Xbalanque would NOT be going out just yet.
(( The Guardians can leave whenever now - And now is the time you get to RP with your invited buddy! Well, uh, the RP will be done when I, you know, finish the art...but fear not! I will let you know when the art is done, and you can start up the RP with the other person on your own. Remember to label it "[ARR] RPTITLEHEREYAY"!
The RP itself is simple - The Guardian has to convince the new Guardian to take the gift somehow! Feel free to abuse the Shop and Switch with the explanation/convincing. The gifts themselves are like hammer space, so even the TV can fit in it like it's nothing! Don't forget to discuss with your partner where the nutbars would have them go; would the Guardian go to the house, or perhaps a chance meeting at that crazy questionable trophy shop in town? It's up to two of you!
If you have any questions, just ask!
Also I'm assuming the Guardians will be gone for most of the Meta now, so I'll let you know around when they should come back. Delivery takes a lot of work. >3 ))
Once the Guardians left the shop, the figure that looked like Switch smiled, flickering out of view and reappearing in the centre of the gaggle of children. It was the heavilly robed figure again, and when it spoke it's voice echoed with two genders.
"So." It started, it's shadowed and hidden face taking a note of all eight children that were left with it. "Anyone want a snack?" It asked sweetly. The gray creatures, who had stayed behind in the shop itself, shrieked with glee and started bouncing everywhere, off of the walls, off of the kids (but no longer going through them). Like before, it was a mad house of insane gray things. Who apparently all wanted food.

Luis had taken her item and left after she bid Faris a short goodbye with a promise to return. Since the Gargoyle had an image to uphold the small girl wouldn't allow anything more touchy-feely than a brief hug. Guardians do not need any such drawn out affections for they are strong and have a job to do, the lady said so herself! Faris waved her parent off with a smile and then turned to wander a bit closer to Evari since the glowing girl was the one that she knew the best.
There was a change in the atmosphere, it was slight, but still it was a change. Faris watched as the lady seemingly disappeared and reappeared amongst them and tilted her head. She not only looked different now but sounded different somehow though she couldn't quite put her finger on and the creatures were behaving ... Like maniacs, to be quite simple about it, but then again when were they not? It seemed a common affliction among those beings not just stopping at Critter. A brief frown went over her face as she stared up at the figure with the now hidden face.
"...Snack?" She asked curiously. The gargoyle could always go for a snack but there was something else...
"Who are yous?" It was an innocent enough question but for some reason Faris couldn't keep herself believing that this ... person was that Switch Lady.

Reumiae sighed, snuggling Deimos a bit. "Stay close to Wynn okay?" he whispered, petting the boy's hair a bit and trying to calm him down. "He'll keep you safe." Which, wasn't really true. The other tot was powerless to keep his brother safe but Reu could at least give him the illusion of confidence right? Well, as much as Deimos could ever get.
Wynn grinned, floating over to his brother to hug him. "C'mon, Dei! Let's explore!"
The man sighed and turned to Jiang sadly. "We may have to separate a little for this." he said softly.
