"Of course!" Europa chirped, taking the boy's hand and leading him to a worn, overstuffed armchair in the reading area. She began ready calmly, making silly voices with no embarrassment. Maybe some day she could be a babysitter! That'd be fun!

"Of course, of course," Anthony nodded. He found that most parents in Gaia were single, come to think of it, but that certainly didn't make things any easier. The chatter with Celi continued even after the two had chosen their books and sat nearby. When Europa was finished, she realized her father seemed ready to go and brought Pippin over.
"Are you ready to go, Daddy?"
"I am indeed. I've been talking to your new friend's mother."

Pippin had thanked Europa over and over for reading to him, so happy that he was shown such kindness. It made him feel so special! After they were done he ran back over to his mother, wrapping his arms around her tightly and embracing her in a hug.
Celi smiled down at her child, giving him a hug right back, "Did you have fun sweetheart?" she said, ruffling his hair. When her boy nodded quickly she smiled, "Good I'm glad. Now make sure you say thank you."
"Thank you Europa." he said, waving a tiny clawed hand at her to say goodbye. He looked up at his mother, "Mommy, can she come over some time? I really really like her!" he said, tugging at his mother's clothes.
"As long as it's alright with her father." reaching into her bag the woman pulled out a piece of neat paper and a fancy pen, scribbling a few numbers before tearing the sheet from the pad and handing it to Anthony, "Just in case you're daugher, or you, ever need company." she said, while her son practically bounced with joy at the idea of seeing the girl again.

Europa just giggled and nodded. Maybe, if she grew before Pippin, she could be his babysitter and read to him all the time! If they grew at the same time, though, they'd just have to be friends, which was good too. She gathered her books up in her arms and handed "Arathia" to Pippin.
Anthony took the paper offered to him and gave a slight tilt of the head and an arch of the grow. Or him?
"Hmm," he said, just a little assenting noise to tie up his smirk, "I'm certain something can be arranged."
"Bye, Pippin!" Europa called over her shoulder a she headed for the sign-out counter.
"Goodbye, Celi," Anthony said smoothly, taking her hand and giving the back a quick kiss before walking off as well.

Celi winked at the older man and both her and her son waved to the young girl a nice goodbye. Pippin took his mother's hand, holding the book close to him as they went to check out. After getting their books, Celi smiled, leading her son out of the library. Both of them seemed in rather chipper moods as they walked into the car and went on their way home.
