Azrael grinned and clapped a couple times. "Awesome! Wanna try somethin' else?" he asked, crouching down to her level as she relaxed against the floor. Bouncing was tiring after a while, he had to admit that much at least.

Cookie nodded, moving over to hug Azzie and rubbing her cheek against him like a kitten would. She was very young so bouncing around and being too active tired her out - particularly when she couldn't boing like normal!

Azzie bent down to pet Cookie, finding that she acted more like a kitten than an actual little girl. So the proper thing to do would be to pet her... right? "I'll take that as a yes," he assumed, speaking aloud yet making no move to leave the room and enter the playground nearby.

The tot's purring increased as she was pet, her ears flicking and her tail curling and uncurling. After a few moments, however, she shook her head and wriggled towards the entrance of the play place. If they were going to get out, they may as well now.
As she crawled out of the moonbounce, the little girl fell forward, landing on the ground and bouncing up a bit before landing. That wasn't something normal children did but Cookie seemed pleased that she could do it. But now was not a boing boing time - now was time for other things!

Azrael managed to look up in time to see the girl land on the ground and BOUNCE a bit before stopping. Woah, woah, woah, what?! How'd she-wha? Azzie shook his head violently, trying to clear it. Maybe she was like him and instead of granting luck-wishes, she could, well, bounce?
"Didn' know you could bounce like that outside of th' bouncy place," he commented, slipping out of the bounce house and onto solid land. It took him a moment to get over the strange sensation from his legs as they continued to act like he was still in the bouncy place. Strange...

"Boing boing!" Cookie agreed with a nod, looking proud and curling her tail.
"Ah, ah ah, no boing boing outside of the moonbounce, Cookie." Lam laughed, walking over after having spotted her daughter bounce. "You're not allowed to go flying in here."
The blonde smiled at Az, hugging her daughter, "You two playing together?"

Cookie? There were cookies-OH! The girl was NAMED Cookie. "Mhm, we were, but we got tired. I'm Azrael," he replied, suddenly slightly wary. Some adults didn't exactly approve of how he acted and tried to escape from supervised areas.

"Nice to meet you, Azrael." she said with a nod, hugging her daughter again. "You two can keep playing for a little if you like, but she'll need to take a nap soon I think." Lam laughed, noting the contented purring her daughter let out at being scratched behind one of her ears.

Azrael nodded and glanced around the playground and eventually to the giant clock on the wall. "I think my mom might get me soon, too," he replied, ears wilting a bit at the thought of leaving. And to think, not too long ago all he wanted to do WAS leave.

"What time do you have to go?" Lam asked, "I'll watch the clock and come grab you when it's time."
Cookie purred a bit and crawled down to sit by her friend again.
"You two can go in the ball pit or down the slides for a bit, k?" the blonde suggested with a smile.

Azzie shrugged. "Dunno really. Said when the little hand reached four and the other one reached six," he explained, having not yet learned how to truly read time. Or if he did, was lazy in doing so with analog clocks. "Kay. Uhm... How 'bout th' ball pit?" he asked Cookie, already figuring she probably wanted to go there too, or didn't care.

Cookie nodded, heading off with Azzie to do that.
Lam waited in the seating area, reading till about time for Azzie to go when she went to fetch the two kids. "All right, hon your ride should be here by now, it's 4:28. Time to go." she said, reaching out to pick her daughter up for cuddles.
Cookie was already falling asleep, but leaned forward to give Azrael a goodbye hug. "Byebye." she whispered before yawning.

Azrael merely nodded, wishing he had more time to play with cookie whereas before all he wanted to do was escape or be able to go home as soon as possible. It was surprising how much the presence of a friend could change a person’s attitude and make time fly by twenty times faster. Yet, as the little girl was picked up he too yawned as he acknowledged his exhaustion for the first time. “Bye,” he murmured, hugging his friend in goodbye. He barely noticed Shadai enter the building and sign him out. Waving goodbye to Cookie, he allowed himself to be picked up by his mother and carried out to the car, dead asleep within moments.
