I paint, draw, sculpt, etc... Making candles is something I want to learn. Sculpting will also allow me to create god and goddess representations for certain spells. I love creative thingies! Just recently I learned how to knit, thanks to Miss Vixen and Dsay. Oil making would also be a helpful thing to learn when it comes to altars and circle casting. Ooooh! Macrame! I wanna learn everything!

Crap. I got back on right away just to post my question. Hmmm...What did your mother say the moment after your birth? (Some Psychologists believe that the first words that are uttered by the mother upon delivery, affect the child in many different ways.)

Hmm, good question. I actually don't know, I do know that she got pissed off the next day because everyone who came by was bringing Mother's Day cards and gifts and she finally snapped at my dad and said, "why in the hell are people bringing me Mother's Day s**t?" My dad just looked at her and said, "Jessica was born yesterday, today is Mother's Day. You're a mom now."
What is one thing you would like to do while you still have time to do it?

Finish my story, turn it into a novel and get it published.
What is the most beautiful thing you can think of?

This might sound conceited but anything I, or others, have created through knitting. So maybe I'm a little obsessed...
If you could do anything you wanted to, regardless of consequences or repercussions, what would it be?

I would probably steal all the parrots and parrot-type birds from pet stores and place them all in a free flight aviary.
If you had to lose one large body part from the joint, which would it be and why?

My leg. I need my hands and arms, and legs are so overrated. What is your favorite shop or store to visit, (or loiter in) and why?

it varies with my mood, but at the moment i really like all time low, the dropkick murphys, and tokio hotel. it'll be different in a couple hours, probably.
have you ever done a ritual/rite/ceremony outside? if so, where?

ive had a couple of Sabbats outside in 2009 and nothing could be better. I did Ostara at Cresent Beach in Northwestern Washington (where I live) it's in the woods never to the San Juan De Fuca Straight and the Pacific Ocean, truely breath taking area. I did the Litha at a camping grounds in on Mt. Diablo in California with Dsay. It was very nice. I just did Yule in my backyard under a blacket of stars and the moon, it was very nice as well even if it was in my backyard. If you haven't done one outside, I'd start with Brigid.
Do you have a permo altar set up, if so explain what it looks like.

I do, but it's set up on this little box thing so that i can store stuff inside when not in use, and also move it easily if I have to. It's all pastel-y and has seashells on it. The setup varies with what I'm doing and what tools will fit on top (it's a teeny tiny box) but I always try to have on it a candle at either side on the top and one in between, my athame, and whatever else I need for whatever I'm doing.
Do you feel your tools are necessary for your practice? Which ones and why?

hmmm, tricky question. i think some tools are important depending what you are doing, like different spells or rituals, but you can use substitutions. in some cases, like in a house that disapproves of the craft, you would need an altar in hiding or disguise, and you would have to substitute things like your athame, wand, cauldron, etc. for other less orthodox items.
what do most people do when you tell them your religion? (if you do at all, i can understand why in some cases you couldnt)

They typically just say, "Ah" and go about their business. There have been a couple who have said something to the effect of "I haven't heard of that" but that's the typical response.
Are you comfortable talking about your beliefs with people you don't know very well (such as an acquaintance, someone you are on first name and hi terms with, but that's about it)?
