Talis sat restlessly in a chair. Beer bottles cluttered in with files on his desk. He stands from his chair with a determined look on his face. He grabs his weapons and walks out. The receptionist gives a look of concern as he walks toward the door.

A voice from behind is heard "Where do you think your going? Our oh so great leader."

Having his authority challenged was nothing new to Talis. After all to many of the Triskelion's although they followed his orders still saw him as a dirty little Sakura rat. Talis walked right up to the Triskelion big mouth and without hesitation broke his nose with one punch. Talis then walked right out the doors. With no idea where he was going.

Evian tilted her head back in the bench and looked up at the sky, thinking about that night. Grimacing, she sighed, closing her eyes as she could hear the gunfire in her ears, a breeze ruffling her long blonde hair. Sitting up, she looked down at the file, flipping it shut as she rose. Alright, time to go get a drink. Running back to her place, it sounded like her roommate was done, putting the dossier in a hidden drawer in her room across the hall. Heading out, she checked she had her staff and whip, the sniper rifle a bit too inconspicuous.

No, instead she grabbed a small knife just to be safe. She took a minute when she looked at it, remembering when it had been given to her. Lowering her eyes, she stuffed her hands in her pockets and headed out to visit a few friends so they could help her obtain some information. She'd look into Sayuri, but she'd need help. She was just a soldier at heart after all.

James smiled silently, though his eyebrows knitted together as he did so. It was his classic fretful face, he usually wore it though when he was puzzling over a tricky diagnosis in the early hours of the morning.
"Alone somewhere...how about my office?" he suggested gesturing upwards as he spoke since his office was on the second floor with the infirmary. "It's probably nothing and i don't wish to alarm you m'am...but it could be taken personally by some and well-" he paused to flash her a quick grin, "I'd rather keep my vital organs for a little longer," the clan was perhaps the kindest of the groups within the city, but they didn't become one of the top three by handing out cookies. Behind the smiles were killing machines, and it was something James could never quite forget.

Yue noticed he was so fretful, still appearing rather calm though she was troubled. What could get him so upset?
She nodded once and started walking with him, deciding to take the stairs since it was just one floor up. She nodded her head to a couple of people they passed, listening and cocked her head when he described what it was he wished to share. Looking to him, she saw the quick grin and couldn't help but chuckle, glancing out a window to see if the guards were alert. And they were, they knew better than to be anything other than that. "And I'd rather you keep them. It's harder to find doctors willing to work for us these days. We aren't that terrifying, are we?" She asked him as they got up to the second floor, making their way to the clinic.
"This isn't about the couple of informers I sent to you who needed treatment before being sent out, is it? I wasn't too harsh this time I though." She guessed at it, thinking about how badly they had to be tortured which really hadn't been much she thought. Just some broken fingers and lots of bruises.

Having arrived back at HQ and just finished reporting, Sayuri walked out of the bosses room and headed down the hall to the stairs, going down to the first floor. Yawning a little, she stretched and cracked her neck, glancing over her equipment as she debated what to do now. She didn't have any jobs, and so seemed in the clear, for the moment heading back to her room. She lived alone, ignoring the hidden looks in peoples eyes as she passed them on the street to get home. Thankfully it wasn't far from HQ, knowing Haku he had planned it that way. She was just glad to not be totally ostracized in that way.

Before she entered her home, she listened, making it seem like she was merely yawning again. Good, she didn't hear anything inside. And the little, practically invisible wire was still in place. Unlocking her door, she went in and locked it behind her, taking off her shoes. Going to her bedroom, she sighed heavily and flopped down, exhaling slowly in relief. Oh it felt good to rest sometimes...

Entering the office he leaned against the wood desk, which was piled high with charts and papers with the occasional textbook. Despite this, the chaos seemed to have some form of order, and was perhaps a rather good representation of the man's brain.
"Not in person I don't think, but our enemies probably spread rumours of us. After all, who wants to get their a** handed to them by a bunch of pansies?" he replied, chuckling a little as he gestured for her to take his comfy leather chair. After all, he didn't want to be rude. Hearing her guess to what might be worrying him he smiled ruefully and shook his head.
"Bu shi, it's not that. I dealt with the two myself and escorted them off the grounds. There was the usual mumbling but people respect your decisions m'am," as he spoke he reached across the desk and grabbed a post-it, making a note to remind himself to check on the two. They may be walking free but he still had a duty of care as a doctor.
"I'm having my doubts about the training we put our people through...especially the younger ones. I've had 3 breaks and 4 sprains in the past week!" taking a calming breath he carried on in a tone that was clearly forcing himself to be calm,
"People are tense M'am. Everyone knows that something's brewing...and I fear the trainers are pushing the younger ones too far. A twelve year old simply can't cope with so much strain. See for yourself," hunting around his desk he brought up a file, holding up an X-ray to the light for her to see.
"I'm not asking they stop training, just focus on other areas until things...settle down," he added quickly, hoping he wasn't making a mountain from a molehill.

Yue glanced around the office, inwardly chuckling as she saw the state of his office. Laughing to the thought of rumors, she shrugged lightly. "Let them talk. There shall always be rumors." She murmured, nodding her head before taking the nice comfy chair.
Raising an eyebrow, now she wondered what it was. Well, at least that meant she hadn't gone too far. "Well thats a relief to know." She smirked a little, briefly following his hands as he wrote a note to himself, her eyes soon resting upon his own to listen to him.
Oh? Well now this was unexpected. That many? Hmm..... She didn't allow herself to drift into thought too deeply since he was obviously going to show her something. She looked at the X-Ray and grimaced, the first negative change in her expression. "Did the young one mention whose training her? Because that does make a difference." She asked, already thinking of two teachers, one in each younger age range who was rather strict. "When I was trained I had a couple of things broken or sprained. There are two specifically who I suspect are the cause. Wong Lao-Shi and Peng Lao-Shi. They tend to end up a little harsh and I've had to speak to them before." She offered, tilting her head a little bit.

Seeing the woman grimance at the X-ray James smiled inwardly. To see the expression, however briefly, showed that she cared for the people in her care. Even after all the years he'd worked for Si, he'd leave the insant she stopped caring, no matter the consequences.
"She didn't say i'm afraid, rather too busy crying for me to get much out of her," he admitted, taking the X-ray back and putting it with the girl's notes. Ruffling his hair nervously once more he pushed his hands deep into his lab coat as he continued,
"Without meaning to spread rumours m'am, I believe it to be Peng Lao-Shi. He's always seemed unnaturally tense, speaking to him is like speaking to an angry spring sometimes." looking away he laughed, though the sound was hollow and clearly a little forced,
"Then again, he's never been overly fond of me has he?" he added, remembering the man's disgust when he heard a boy who wasn't even born in the city was getting such a high ranking job.

Yue half expected that the child hadn't, looking up to the ceiling in thought. Though, she half expected the two of them to have been a bit more careful considering she had already spoken to them. Wong Lao-Shi certainly was much better. Peng Lao-Shi improved as well.
Raising an eyebrow as he seemed nervous, it remained that way when he said who he believed it was. Sighing lightly, it was entirely possible. Chuckling, she shook her head, "No. He's still rather traditional in the way he thinks. Typically Chinese are thought to be the most racist. I have done my best to change that. Most now are more accepting, but there will always be some who cling to the old way of thinking." She murmured, folding her hands in her lap.
"I'll speak to one of the children and have them report back to me, record a few classes via hidden camera's just to be sure. One must have proper evidence before accusations can be made." She said, a sweet smile spreading across her features. "Thank you for bringing this to my attention Dr. James."

James nodded his head in understanding, the motion slowed slightly so it may also have been seen as a quick bow.
"Your effort's are noticed m'am, especially in the youngsters. They love you, and you do have a way of leading by example," he replied, a smirk gracing his pale face. As she smiled to him he felt he felt his cheeks burn a little pinker, at first due to the lovely smile of hers, then due to embarrassment.
"It was no problem. Duìbùqǐ for taking up so much of your time, you did look rather busy," he replied, despite his worry at making her late he was glad she was going to look into the matter further. If there was one thing he really couldn't stand it was the harm of children.
while he spoke his eyes wandered the room, a usual sign of him becoming restless but trying not to show it for the sake of politeness. His eyes managed to find the clock, and a small frown wrinkled his forehead. It was still early, he might still be able to go and see her.
"M'am, I was wondering if I might take a few hours in the city? It's only the elder classes this afternoon and they normally only have minor injuries..." he trailed off, uncertain of the bosses reaction to his sudden request.

(( Duìbùqǐ. = I'm sorry, according to wikitravel anyhoo xD ))

(( It's accurate so far. Even with the tones! xD ))

Blinking, Yue almost appeared rather modest, the faintest blush flittering across her features. It was good to know that she was succeeding in her aim, sometimes it became hard to tell. Laughing, she shook her head, waving a hand as she rose up. "Oh don't worry about it. If by busy you mean visiting with my people, then I suppose so." She had noticed how his eyes had wandered and then the concern upon his features, guessing it was time for her to get going. She probably should anyways, she now had a couple of matters she needed to look into.

"Of course. I think the staff can spare you for a while. You work hard doctor, everyone needs a break once in a while." Holding up a hand to wave farewell, she placed a hand on the door knob, pausing to look back to him. "Take care James, I don't want to have to summon someone to work on you. Zai jien." Smirking, she closed the door behind herself, heading to go have a word with the young students.

(( Zai jien = good bye ))

((Whoot lol xD Good to know))

James grinned and nodded his thanks, slipping out of his white doctors coat and trading it for the black suit jacket that accompanied his suit. On the lapel a flash of silver could be seen, a pin badge of the clan's symbol.
"Zai Jien," he muttered, watching Yue leave. Speaking to her always cheered him up, no matter what they talked about.

Shaking his head he found his mobile on the clutter of his desk. Punching in one of the speed dial numbers he collapsed into his desk chair, propping his feet up on the desk.
"Hey Mum! It's me...fancy an icecream in the park? My treat?" he greeted brightly.

"What? You have time to visit your old mum now do you? Oh well, i'll just drop everything and run right over shall I?" was the sharp reply from the eldery woman. Sighing, James jugged at his red hair.
"Oh come on, you know why i can't meet you at the house. Look i'll be there in 10, I hope I see you," he replied before promptly putting the phone down. Ever since he'd joined Si it had become much harder to keep an eye on his mother, and even harder to visit given the gang lines. Rather then risk someone finding out where his mother lived he prefered to meet her in public places where they'd be safe.

"Thanks guys, I'll catch you later." Evian called back to her buddies, waving a hand with a smirk. Though it soon faded, thinking over what she had to do. Maybe I should just leave a call.... Eh, still gotta wait for them to get her phone number for me. Hope this doesn't upset the Sakura's too much. She stuffed her hands in her pocket and headed for a bar that was in her home territory but near the park. They had some great rums there. She was thinking back to that night, her one hand clenching a bit tighter in her pocket. Her brows knitted and she closed her eye for a moment, taking a deep breath.

Before leaving for the park James headed to his private rooms to grab some money, and perhaps more importantly his gun. Slotting the Walther into the shoulder holster underneath his suit jacket he checked himself over to see that it wasn't easily visable. After all he didn't want it to seem like he was looking for trouble.
Deciding to walk to the park he set off at a relaxed pace, enjoying the afternoon for a change instead of being cooped up indoors. Reaching the grassy area he smirked to himself, dark eyes twinkling in amusement as he approached an icecream vendor. Selecting a mint choc chip for himself and a strawberry for his Mum he settled down on a bench to wait. It wasn't too long though before the elderly woman turned up.

"I can't stay long, I do have other more important things to do today," she said in way of greeting as she took the icecream from him. She was tall for a woman, her hair black but lined with white. James had often pictured her as a heron, waiting in a paitent manner before she started to attack.
"So, how have you been mum?" James asked, a warm smile fixed in place even though he knew what was coming. Apparently finding her moment to strike the older woman took a deep breath, before launching into her usual rant.
"How have I been?! Worried SICK is how I've been! You hear all sorts of things you know, or read in the paper if you know what to look for and every day i'm terrified i'm going to see you wind up found in some ditch somewhere! Honestly James Tennant you had a future! You could have been a somebody and now your nothing but a-" she paused, her voice dropping to barely a whisper "a Gangster!" shaking his head James cut in before she could carry on, "Except i'm not. I'm still a doctor...just a private one. Who by the way, has changed his last name as you well know. I still help people, really lovely people actually. Maybe if you met them you'd-"
"What understand? Be sucked in more like! They may have gotten to you but I'll have no part in this." she hissed, getting to her feet in her rage. Sighing, James dumped the rest of his icecream in a trash can, no longer hungry. Getting to his feet he held out his arms,
"At least give me a hug before you go... no matter what i'm still your son," he muttered, a flash of hurt in his eye. Looking distinctly uncomfortable the woman stepped forward and embraced him, though quickly took a few steps back as she felt the gun holster.

"Last time I checked, real doctors didn't have to carry guns. Goodbye James," without another word she turned on heel and left, leaving James standing alone in the middle of the park.

Talis Blindly walked for a time going from street to street aimlessly observing and keeping an eye on everything. His wandering steps lead him to a park not particularly in his side of town. He looked everyone within eye sight over. He saw a man sitting with an elderly woman seemingly arguing over ice cream. He wondered what could be the issue until he spotted clearly his clan symbol shining on the man's lapel.

Maybe he will be insightful.

Talis started moving as silently in the background as possible to eavesdrop on the conversation. It wasn't hard to blend in for Talis considering he didn't even look like one of his own clan. As long as he made sure to move swiftly he would be fine. As he listened in he ran over bullets of the conversation as he was trained to do,

- Doctor James Tennant?
-Clearly Member of Si Clan
-Armed
-Dangerous?
-Family Complications

This could be useful if i follow him back to his office he may have medical records on some head Si's. But that's for another time, those damn Sakura's are the one on my list for now

Talis quietly left before Doctor "Tennant" could notice he was even there.
