Chuckling, he grinned and looked at her, "That is true. It seems so contagious too! I bet you could make even the grumpiest of lions smile," he caught the slight blush of her cheeks and blushed too as she pawed at his tail. Shaking out his mane, trying to stop from blushing any deeper, he found it shocking that she seemed to have quite a big family and almost turned back. Most he had met before, either ran away from home or had no family at all . . . But this proved to be a challenge of sorts; he'd just have to be careful. "You live with your parents and sister? You must all be very close to each other and a long lost grandfather . . . I bet it was shocking to meet him for the first time," he glanced at her and ran ahead a few feet. Ducking underneath a low hanging branch, Sudhir lifted it up for her with one of his wings. "Ladies first," he said with a charming smile, "So then, how many others are in your family? Or, do you think there are still more surprises to be held for the future?"

Leia blushed again as he now suddenly ran ahead to hold open a branch for her. "Oh yes, My family is all close. I also have a step sister, step brother and three aunts, only one of which I have met." she grinned, stepping beneath the branch, pausing momentarily to look deep in his eyes, her smile seeming to spread even if that task was rather impossible for a lioness such as herself. "Surprises are always fun. I sometimes hope for more... but I doubt any will come soon." she said as, lingering for a moment, still lost in his eyes. She had never felt this way about anyone else before, just the bubbly happy friendly love.... not like what she felt now. She had just met him, could he really be that different? Perhaps she was only experiencing wishful thinking....

Sudhir chuckled, "I'm sure you'll get to see the other two some day. Why wouldn't they want to? You're an amazing gal!" He was taken aback as she stared into his eyes, he felt almost hypnotized by her smile that was so cute on her! Sudhir tried to speak around the lump that had formed in his throat. Why was she so different from others he had met? It bugged him, but he felt something tug at his heart as she lingered there. He didn't want to break the contact, instead he wanted to scoop her up and whisk her away to the island's beautiful Oasis. But he reminded himself he had promised to take her to the roses. "Oh, I wouldn't be so sure," he gave her a charming, but genuine smile before pulling his eyes away from hers. "Shall we continue on m'lady?" Sudhir asked with sincerety, "Have you met your grandmother? Or is she still living?" He sounded caring, concerned and sincere. Which of all, he was honest when he asked. This was a change for him, he'd never been so sincere when asking questions, and the questions weren't the usual either.

Leia blushed again, if it was even possible. He just kept seeming to throw complements her way, and while it was certainly something usual, it had never felt this way before. Smiling and padding after him, her blue eyes light up. "Your right! I'm sure I will see them some day, and even if they have no clue who I am, thats alright because as long as I can make them smile, I'm happy!" she grinned, seeming to now skip along as she took notice of the scenery and its subtle yet breathtaking changes. It wasn't until he mentioned her grandmother that her smile only slightly faded. "No I have not met either of my grandmas... Mother never mentions her parents much, so I don't think they are still alive. As for my grandma on my fathers side... apparently Him and Gram split up a long time ago... long before their cubs were even fully grown." she blinked, letting a frown slip, something she rarely ever did. "I wonder what happened sometimes.... Gramps is so nice.. I just don't see him as the type to leave someone unless absolutely necessary.... and even then...." she paused with a sigh, letting her smile return. "I'm sorry, forgive my ramblings!"

"That's the spirit!" Sudhir smiled as he moved fallen branches out of the way while they walked. As he looked back at her, he saw her frown and felt the regret rise. He shouldn't have asked . . . It only seemed to make her sad, which was a big contrast to her normally joyful spirits. "Aww, I'm sorry . . . Maybe they're out there still. You can't give up any hope, especially such a bright lioness like yourself! I bet they're looking for you right now, and even if they don't walk among the living, I have a feeling they're watching you from above and you make them smile everyday they see you," he slowed his pace to take a position next to her and nudged her shoulder with his. "Hey it's no problem at all. I'm all ears for you Leia." Sudhir looked ahead and caught sight of a brightened area. From where they were now, it was all up to chance how long it would take to get there. The trees were thick in every direction, but exotic flowers of all colors lined the path and filled his nose with a calm, but sweet scent. Vines wrapped themselves around the trunks of the trees, and wound their way toward the tops. Orange, hibiscus flowers hung from the vines and shook slightly in a warm breeze.

Leia blinked as he nudged her gently, and his words seemed to hit home. He was right, somehow she just knew it, and that thought made her happy. Giggling again, she bounced in place slightly. "Thank you Sudhir... your really sweet ya know?" she grinned as she now noticed the flowers, trees and vines. Her jaws dropped open. "Ive not seen anything like this at all...." she said, mostly to herself as she padded forward a little bit to sniff at the flowers. Their petals tickled her nose but their scents relaxed her. "They smell soooo good!"

Sudhir chuckled and bowed, "Thank you m'lady." He smiled when she giggled and found himself enjoying the sound of her voice. It was like a summer breeze. Light and melodic, a song he could listen to forever and never tire of. "Aye that they do, but just wait. I have a feeling we're close, very close to the roses." Sudhir brushed past her just slighty to find the path open up and lessen in the amount of thick fauna about ten feet in front of them. Off in the distance was a slight gold glow and his smile widened at the thought of how happy she'd be once she saw them. "Take your time here m'dear, we're in no hurry unless you'd like to continue," he said as he came back to her. "May I?" he asked picking a white lilly to place by her ear. It was beautiful, but somehow not as beautiful as she was. Again Sudhir found himself feeling those butterflies inside flutter and again he told himself this wasn't any different. Although, he knew it was.
