[[Ok, now I'm mad. I hate having brain farts, they kill my creativity. sad ]]
"I'm Late, I'm Late, I'm Late!" The White Rabbit exclaimed as hurried towards the Red Witch of Hearts's throne room "She'll have my head cut off for sure!" His stomach did flip-flops as he looked at his watch, 12 o'clock glared at him like a hound dog ready to snap. Now was not the time to bug the queen, it was her "relaxation time" and nobody was to disturb her.

Cyclone is having fun in Oz. Cyclone has blown a green little witch far across the sky. Cyclone has listened to card people screaming and has heard China people cracking.
Cyclone finds something strange in the munchkins' land. It's a girl that smells differently. But she's made of flesh and is very tiny, so Cyclone decides to blow her around for a while.
Cyclone picks up the strange-smelling girl and begins flying around Oz again.

[[Cue Alice!]]

Alice rubbed the top of her head and looked around this strange and colorful world she found herself sitting in now.

"Alright..." she muttered to herself in an annoyed tone. "What's going on here?" One second she was at home wandering around the fields, and the next she had fallen through a weird mirror looking thing into this strange place. Standing up, Alice brushed the dirt off her dress and continued to look around.

Of course nothing looked normal, and yet it did at the same time. She could still feel the breeze weave through her long hair. But, it took her a few moments to realize that the breeze kept getting stronger. Alice turned around to see a Cyclone headed her way.

"No way will I be able to outrun a Cyclone... Just my luck..." Alice told herself. Yet, she decided to start running away anyways. Soon, the wind was too strong for her to run against, and she was easily picked up by the wind and thrown into the air. Dizzy as it was, Alice could glimpse more of the world she had entered. She could tell already that it was the last place she wanted to be, especially if Cyclones were frequent.

Alice hoped to the god of this freaky realm that the freak of a Cyclone would decide to drop her off somewhere where she could sort things out in her head. But then again, Cyclones couldn't think, and luck was never on Alice's side. Even back at home, bad luck followed her like a shadow.

Shakir was about to finish an overhead chop when a series of horns and drums were blown. Sheathing his dagger, Shakir ran with the other soldiers towards town square. This wasn't the usual summoning: something was up.
The something became apparent when he fought through the crowd and saw a strange scene: an unconscious girl, sprawled on the cobble stones.
Women were screaming about how she had fallen from the sky, men were roaring that this was an o-tas-tro-fee ("Whatever that means," snorted Shakir), and children were being restrained by their nannies as they tried to poke the girl.
"Everyone get back!" Shakir roared over the din. Kneeling, he took some of the girl's hair in his hand and sniffed it. The first thing he noticed was that she smelled of that hideous monster Cyclone - that must be why she fell out of the sky. The second thing he noticed was that underneath Cyclone's smell, she smelled... strange. Not like any human in Oz did.
Picking the girl up, he carried her to the nearest inn. "A bed," he told the innkeeper. "Quickly."

User ImageI may be Madd, but I'm not crazy...
Boredom is a dangerous thing. Especially when Angie should be focusing on her demonstration to the queen. That woman had enough of a temper that, with one mistake, she'd feel the need to take a head off. She liked decapitation, Angie felt it was because she liked watching heads roll across the dungeon floor. But that was probably wrong. She always did have a sick frame of mind...

The boredom becoming too much for her to bear, Angie turned to her personal looking glass. It had been designed by her to control her loney existence locked away. It worked like a spy glass; she could watch anything thing exciting that drew the glass's magic. There were only two in existence. And only one worked.

The Looking glass had picked up Cyclone causing mayhem and madness, as usual. But there was something unusual about this happenstance. "Well well well, what happens to be going on on this day? Hmmm?" People were shouting and screaming. The common chaos that made Oz the place it was. A girl lay on the ground, having been violently thrown by the Cyclone. A boy/lion/thing picked her up and swept her to the Inn, to which, Angie knew the owner. It was a dear friend of hers. "Interesting... Very Interesting." Angie knew this was going to happen; a bat whispered into her ear.

Oh, wont you have some tea with me?

Shakir brightened as he saw the strange girl move. "You're awake. Listen, I'm Shakir, a mercenary. I'm a werecat... some people call us lions. What are you?"
The girl looked at him suspiciously - at least, Shakir assumed it was suspicion. He wasn't that good at reading facial expressions.
"Anyway, where're you from?"
The girl continued to look at him.
"Uh, got parents?"
Silence.
"Kid, I need you to talk about something, here."

Being desperate for a job, Daren decided on another course of action. He would sell berry tarts at the train station on Square Three, just a few hours away. He saddled his horse, prepared to sleep overnight - in case his business succeed - by packing almost everything he owned, and was about to leave his hut when something caught his eye.

The armor next to the door.

He couldn't leave it behind. It would only rust here. But he didn't deserve to wear it again.
He roughly bundled the armor into a sack and left various examples of his inventions behind in its place. Then he set off for the train station, gathering berries as he went and ignoring the large, heavy bundle in his saddlebags.

Once the Cyclone had decided to drop Alice off, she fell to the ground and hit her head pretty hard, causing Alice to black out.

Of course when Alice did wake up, she found herself in a cozy little room. It had a nice earthy smell to it, and Alice almost believed she was back home. That is, until she saw the person nearby her bed. Alice bolted upright, and stared at the... thing. Bewildered at the sight, Alice rubbed her eyes, and squinted at him, but his shape didn't change. Alice wasn't seeing things. She was actually seeing a cat-like man in the room.

The cat-man began to speak to her once he noticed she was awake. Telling her that he was a werecat, or a lion, but not a cat-man as Alice first thought. Again Alice wished to go back home. She wasn't going to let these stranger creatures get the better of her. So Alice simply looked at the werecat, Shakir, with an unamused and suspicious look on her face. He asked her more questions, but she still didn't reply. Again, he asked her a question, and again she didn't answer.

True Alice didn't trust him, but Shakir was beginning to look desperate. So when he asked her to talk about something, Alice simply replied with,

"My name is Alice." her voice showed her annoyance to the questions she didn't want to answer. "And, I want to go home." She then crossed her arms and continued to show that unamused expression. She then glared at Shakir, "Where am I? And how do I get back home?"

Shakir glanced at her with an exasperated expression. "That depends on where you live. We're in munchkin territory now, specifically the Unicorn's small kingdom. Does that help?"
She didn't look optimistic about it.

Alice's frown didn't change when she heard Shakir's response. Munchkins and Unicorns? Just her luck. She was swept away from a strange pasture by a freak of a Cyclone and landed in an even stranger place.

"No, it really doesn't help me much." Alice grumbled. "See, I don't live anywhere where there are unicorns, and lion people, and freakish Cyclones. Sure where I come from there are cyclones sometimes, but not ones like the one that just picked me up and dropped me off." Alice's voice seemed to get louder with each word.

Reluctantly, she explained more to Shakir. How else was he going to tell her how to get back, if he didn't know where she was from. "I live on a sheep farm in a quiet little rural village. A perfectly normal sheep farm, with perfectly normal neighbors and perfectly normal weather conditions. That help any?"

Shakir shook his head. "Not in the slightest. I don't know of any sheep farms - all the sheep I know are too lazy to do anything involving labor. You must live a long way from here."
Shakir's mind was already racing. This may have been the chance he was waiting for, to get away from his current employer and forget about the Unicorn completely. "What you'll probably want is the Emerald City. It's our largest 'port town', so it's quite likely that there's somebody there who knows of where you've come from. People from all over Oz go there. Actually, it's said that everyone gets there eventually.
Do you know where it is?"
