Ooo well done! I think I am already put off by these file sharing things...so I doubt I would go into E-publishing!

hmm well it's good that you caught them before so many people seen it and editing blahs i hate it... but i was stupid enough not to add any detail or emotion, so my story is going to be a lot longer once I'm done doing that and about that writing 500+ and editing, you should make a work schedule, it helps a lot, like edit for a half hour write for an hour... something like that i don't know if that helps just decided to put it out there sweatdrop

It is annoying and frustrating, but for me, this one downside does not give me a negative opinion of E-publishing. There are risks in anything. And realistically, the people who download illegal files off these sites would probably never buy my books anyway. Thieves generally only want what they can steal.
I hate editing too, 11linda, that's why I have six novels sitting around waiting to be edited, LOL. Thanks for the advice, that's a good idea.

Hey, that's a really good idea! I'm always getting lost in whatever I'm doing, and ten minutes turns into two hours without my noticing, LOL.

January 18, 2010 ~*~ I spent most of yesterday editing Truth Faerie, read through it twice, once out loud, and I sent it in to my publisher this afternoon. I received a reply just a little while ago with an acceptance and a release date - July 16th, which is perfect since the story is set in the heat of summer. He also wants to know when the book will be done, LOL. I guess that's my next project. I'm now working on an Easter/Ostara themed M/M erotic fantasy romance, heavy on the fantasy. It's basically an original fable that incorporates many of the same symbols and themes as the Easter/Ostara holiday, mostly the pagan aspects. The story is about a young man, age unspecified (legally he has to be 18, but in his culture boys become men at 16, so...) who is offered as a sacrifice to the forest spirit. The valley in which his people live has been locked in perpetual winter for more than a year and his tribe was attempting to appease the spirit so that the winter would end. The spirit appears in the form of a five foot tall talking rabbit and is not the least pleased to find a human tied to his altar. After some plot elements involving colored eggs, betrayal, death, and resurrection, the main character and the spirit (reborn in human form) engage in healing sex upon the altar, which finally brings an end to the winter. Dunno if that's something my publisher will be interested in, but he accepted my Christmas story that had less to do with Christmas than this does with Easter, LOL.

If that worked, I'd set it in ancient Egypt, make him twelve, and have him marry his sister (just kidding). He has to be eighteen because that's the legal age in the US and the publisher is in the US, so we have to follow US laws and such.

Thanks! I have artwork on my website? Lol, do you mean the header on the front page? I photoshopped several pictures together. It's not great, but I love the color of the faerie wings.
11linda, it'd be okay as long as you don't have sexual content involving a 16 year old.

Then you'll be fine.
I fully respect your opinions and feelings on the matter. Personally, I like erotica, I'm good at writing it, and like they say, sex sells. Someday, I hope to write YA fantasy/adventure books, but I don't feel my writing is quite good enough to tell those stories, so I'll practice on the smut, LOL.
