Vanadis scrambled to follow Sirius' orders, running into the alley on what felt like legs made out of jelly and half-hoping, half-dreading that the youma would follow.
It did. She wasn't sure whether elation was the proper emotion in this instance, but it was mixed with what felt like a heavy ball of steel in her stomach. Oh gosh, it was so close, if she stretched her fingers she could touch it, but it had longer arms than her and only needed--
She snapped out of it as she heard Sirius' voice again, telling her to get out. Setting in a run, she took the time to smack down her one and only attack at the mouth of the alley before joining the other senshi. Hopefully that'd give them (and the fence) a bit of time.
"S-should we secure it or something?" She gestured towards the fence, "Or, um, do we run now?"

Sirius smiled as she saw Vanadis come out and yes they really should secure the fence but she didn't really want to hang about.
"We should probably run I think. That way we might come across someone quicker who can kill the wretched thing!" At least Sirius hoped they would. Oh how she hated youma's, she hated them with a passion. Smelly foul things.
Sirius looked back at the youma before she took off. She hated the stronger ones when there was nothing around to throw at it. Saiph was good at killing them, her power was awesome but Sirius wasn't as lucky. She wasn't all powerful in fact her powers sucked big time. At least she was able to defend herself though sometimes she wasn't that useful, her power was useless if she got attacked at the same time as using it.

"Oh, o-okay. Shouldn't we, um, throw stuff at it first? Or is that a bad idea?" Vanadis held up the bin-lid she was still holding up to illustrate her point. She looked slightly sheepish at having questioned her senior.

Now it was Sirius's turn to look confused and lost. Castor had made it clear to run when a youma was too strong but there was two of them and surely two could maybe?
"Er....." She wasn't sure. "I guess we could try?" She hadn't killed a youma though. Not without awesome powers being used which of course she didn't have and nor did Vanadis, or at least she seemed not to have.
"Maybe we can find something sharp in the garden shop and stab at it?" It was probably a feeble idea but she didn't like the idea of leaving the thing to kill someone so it made sense if it were to kill anyone at least they would die trying to save the world right?

"Y-yeah! That sounds like a good idea." Vanadis' eyes turned slightly adoring as she eyed the other senshi. Man, if only she had such good ideas! "Should we b-both go this time, then? One of us can be the l-look-out while the other searches the store."

Sirius nodded.
"Sure that sounds like a good idea. Do you want to be on look out or to look for pointy things? Just like run if you see the police whether in or out the shop." Sirius had yet to run in to the police but she knew they would go after them if they got the chance and Sirius wasn't sure what she would do if she got arrested.
"I do hope this works..."

"Look-out, you already know the l-lay-out of the shop and I, um, don't, so that's probably the b-best course of action. Or something."
Standing look-out while Sirius was rummaging in the shop was a nerve-wracking experience as Vanadis expected the police to come running out from a corner at any minute. And most likely get themselves killed, alá youma. Yeah, that'd be bad - how the bugger would they explain that?
As she'd been contemplating the horrors of police interference however, the youma had finally - finally - caught onto their location and was, currently, lumbering her way.
Much to her distress. "Sirius! I t-think it's, uh, found us. What do I do?!" She still had the bin lid, but bludgeoning the thing probably wouldn't do much with her lackluster strength behind the attack.

Sirius nodded and went in and looked around the shop. She found some metal poles that had sharp ends, also some poison, would that work? Who knows, she was willing to try anything. She was about to head over to another section when she heard her name called and ran straight outside.
What she saw wasn't great. It really was heading their way, it had broken through the fence pretty quick.
"Here take some of this." She handed Vanadis the poison slug spray and gave her one of the pointy metal poles. "I don't know if the spray will work but it's as ugly as a slug so might as well try." She then ran towards the youma, though edging slightly to the side. She held out the pole in front of her. She wasn't about to let go of that any time soon.
"Try to attack at the same time, it might confuse it!" At least, thats what she hoped.

"O-okay!" Her hands were shaking something fierce, but Vanadis ignored them in favour of keeping her eye on the youma. Patience was key if they were going to follow Sirius' plan of attacking at the same time - and she really, really didn't want to try and come up with a plan of her own, so simultaneous attacks it was.
And there, wasn't the other senshi about to attack? She totally looked like she was, at least to the junior senshi in this battle, and with a shrill squeak and still-shaking hands, Vanadis ran forward, trying to keep her pole steady and aim the spray thinger at the youma's eyes. What was this stuff, anyway?

Sirius had a metal spike thing that she ran at the youma with. It wasn't very long which was rather annoying but it was sharp and so she ran at the youma and managed to stab the thing. It didn't seem to have any affect, nor did the spray but she wasn't about to give up.
She ran back to the pile and picked up a few more of the metal spikes and this time threw them at the youma. It blocked one but one got it's neck. It seemed to do something.
"It's head, go for the head!" She wasn't sure what she would do with the stuff they had left but hey they would just have to be clever. At least they were getting somewhere. This youma was going down!

Vanadis didn't reply, but her next attack was aimed exponentially more upwards than the last one had been. Her first attack had bounced off - though she wasn't sure whether this was due to her lousy grip or the youma's skin - and she ditched the spray in favor of getting a better grip on the pole.
It worked, in as far as she managed to get a scratch on the thing's cheek (or what she deemed to be a somewhat cheek-like feature on the thing's head), but the youma had raised a large arm just as she had pounced and Sailor Vanadis was caught by a hefty hand as she tried to jump out of reach.
"Argh!" Letting go of the pole to grab the shoulder that the youma had hit probably wasn't the best tactical choice she'd ever made, but it'd been more of an automatic reaction than anything else. "Sirius..!"
She attempted to scramble backwards before the (luckily slow) youma managed to attack her again, but panic and pain wasn't a good combination and Vanadis wasn't sure she'd make it.

Sirius looked at the thing and let out a sigh it was so hard but then she heard Vanadis and freaked a little herself. It didn't take her long to think though and she managed to turn and point her hands at Vanadis.
"COLLAR BOUND" She shouted the words and watched as the collar surrounded the other senshi. The youma bounced off the collar. She could feel the youma attack the collar and she winced a little.
"OI" She threw what she had in her hand at the youma though she wasn't sure if it would hit or not, she had to keep watch of the collar or it would fall through and she couldn't allow that. She had to keep Vanadis safe.
"You okay? I can let you go again if you are!" Sirius rushed what she said somewhat after all you don't really have much time to talk when being attacked by a big ugly monster.

That had been so close; if it hadn't been for Sirius' timely intervenetion, she'd have been youma-food by now. Shock was prominent but nausea was making good headway as well in 'the most overwhelming sensation'-competition currently going on in her body.
"I'm f-fine!" She couldn't see if what the other senshi had thrown had hit from this angle, but whatever else could be said, it certainly distracted the youma from Vanadis. Apparently a target you couldn't get to wasn't as fun as one you could.
Who'd have thought?
Vanadis wasted no time in picking up her dropped pole when the youma had turned away and the Collar had faded. "What do I do, what do I do?! Should I go for the head a-again?" Independent thought, minus one.

Sirius let the collar go as it really did pull on her energy store. She smiled at the other senshi and nodded.
"Yep it's slowing look so hopefully we can kill it soon!" She was pretty sure a couple more hits and the thing would be dead. It had slowed down a lot already and having the thing dead would be brilliant because Sirius was sure someone would turn up soon it was making a lot of noise.
She then ran at it with her random weapon and jumped at the thing managing to get a metal spike in the thing's eye. She thanked whatever god was up there and moved back as far as she can.
"If you can get the other eye go for it!" The youma was defiantly not going for them now, that was at least one thing.
