Sparda blinked at that, and paused - eyeing her. "You don't remember your name...?" he asked then, gently. He'd heard of kitsus losing their memories before. Usually after being hit on the head or something. Perhaps from some other trauma. But he wouldn't push her if she didn't want to talk about it. Or maybe she didn't remember that either... he had no way to know.
"Well ... I cannot simply say 'hey you' the entire time. Do you, perhaps, have any name in mind that you would like to be called?" Turning the corner, he glanced up. Only a couple more blocks to go.

"Er... no, I can't. I can't remember much of anything before... well, I guess I don't mind talking about it, but maybe after the shower?..." The limping was less pronounced now, though still obvious. "I just... haven't really gotten to relax for several days now..." She grimaced slightly and subconsciously sped up a bit to draw more level with him. It was so awkward to talk to someone's tails, really.
"I... guess I should come up with something huh? I hadn't thought about it, I wasn't really expecting to be holding a conversation or anything for a while." Kitsyn saw him glance up and wondered how much further it would be. Not that she minded if it would be short or long... it just felt good to have a genuine destination for pretty much the first time since she'd really come to.
What the heck did she want to be called? Her name preferably but that wasn't exactly an option right now. She wracked her brain and what little she could remember from her fevered dreams, but only two things really came to mind. That closing door and... flames. "Blaze, I suppose?"

Sparda nodded without even blinking, as if that was a perfectly acceptable and logical choice. "Blaze it is then," he replied with a faint smile, as they turned the next corning. Then he nodded to a building just up the street. "My place is in that building right there. It's not on the ground floor, but there is an elevator."
He decided not to mention how often the thing tended to break down - which was why he usually took the stairs. He could just hope that it decided to be nice to them tonight, since Blaze was injured.

"An elevator? I guess that'll do. They should really get around to inventing teleporters, though, geez." The now-Blaze snorted amusement at her small quip of humor, following Sparda the rest of the way up the street and into the building. Stairs weren't so bad a thing, though she'd probably wind up having to rest a bit on the way up. Was nearing a point she'd need to rest a bit either way, really, though she was intent on pushing past that point with as close as they seemed to be now.
She blamed her lack of stamina on the illness and the injuries, though unlike everything else it did not seem to be recovering, and perhaps even getting a bit worse over the course of these past couple of weeks. At least... she thought so, since she'd been fevered to varying degrees for most of that time she didn't consider her measurements on the matter at all reliable. Still it was enough to make her worry that perhaps there was something wrong that was less obvious than her other injuries... but she didn't feel like anything was wrong. Conundrum conundrum, do behave and go away. Life was complicated enough right now, wasn't it?
Blaze stared at the elevator door, waiting for it to come down and open, though she was starting to think it might not at this point. "So it's just you, here?" It was the impression she'd gotten, but something prompted her into thinking checking on that would be a good idea. Staying for a bit had lodged in her mind as a good course of action but if she were going to be interrupting the lives of multiple people with her presence that decision was going to be quickly rescinded, though perhaps not until tomorrow. She was tired, so tired.
