Fallon glanced back to the vineyard sculpture. "I prefer the sculpture. I don't like decorative plates," she said and then added, "but I'm not your grandmother. Go with whichever you think is best." A lot of people like decorative plates, but Fallon found them quite tacky. A classy sculpture on the other hand? It seemed like a much more refined choice.

A stray hand glided over a smoothed marble sculpture of the silhouette of a woman. It was beautiful, but Fallon had no space for it in her bedroom. Alas. She nodded along with Azzo as he spoke. She had read newspapers and checked the internet, but it only brought more questions, less answers. Her conversation with Sailor Virgo had been more informative than everything she had read on the internet.

When Azzo said he had also felt something, Fallon felt her ears p***k. How odd. "It's probably nothing," she said dismissively. "The doctor warned me there could be side effects. They still aren't entirely certain what was done to us." That much was true. A little tingling could be muscle pain, or nerve damage. Those outcomes seemed much more likely. All of a sudden, Fallon wanted to make a doctor's appointment.

Letting her hand slip away from the sculpture of the woman, Fallon smiled at Azzo's choice. It was the right one, she thought. The plate wasn't very attractive. She preferred to put fine china on display than to use a painted plate. Plates should be used, anyway, not just stacked on a shelf to be stared at from time to time.

When Azzo addressed the issue of the strange feeling, Fallon could not keep her lips from forming a frown. "No, some side effects can and do come and go," she said, punctuating her words with a flourish of her hands. "Muscle pain is not a constant thing. It can flare up. The same with headache or blurry vision, or any number of symptoms that could indicate something is wrong." It seemed to Fallon that Azzo wanted to believe the feeling was something more, but Fallon didn't think he had the evidence on his side. If anything, side effects were more likely to happen occasionally, as opposed to constantly. So far, she had only felt it once, and yes, that had corresponded with an attack by a youma. But it could all just be a coincidence.

Fallon shrugged as if it wasn't a big deal at all, moving a few steps to the side to check out another statue. The clerk she had glanced to earlier lifted a box to the counter. Fallon knew it contained her bedding, excellent. "The senshi are busy running the streets at night. I don't think they'd have the time to humor a boy who thinks he can sense youma," she said. It was a little curt, but the idea was bothering Fallon. Sure, she could see why he believed it, but it seemed like Azzo was still jumping to conclusions. Big conclusions, at that.

Behind her, the clerk started to wave Fallon over. She turned and smiled and then glanced back to Azzo. "It has been lovely to see you again, Azzo, but I must go pick up a purchase. I hope your grandmother enjoys the sculpture," she said, polite smile returning to her lips. Fallon was already walking away, but she raised a hand to wave to him. "Take care then." With that, she retreated to the counter and began to chat happily with the clerk.
