Selene thought back for a moment, trying to recall what she had said. Fortunately, it hadn't happened too long ago, so it wasn't that hard for her to remember. "So I did."

"So, why not?" Ravi asked, clinging to that question. He was afraid of what would happen if he allowed himself to be distracted for too long. Was she a siren, maybe? Or maybe a will o the wisp. A creature sent to distract him from the safe path and lead him to his doom...

"Why not what?" Selene asked, purposely missing the point of his question. The imp in her was curious to see how long she could get him to chase himself in circles before he lost his patience. Daddy Eclipse seemed to have an endless well of patience, but some of the others she had met had less than a thimbleful. Like Krayon. Now he was fun to annoy, when he wasn't pining after someone named Erutis.

"Well, I'd think that I would find you," Selene guessed, pretending to give the problem some serious thought. She already had his location mostly pinned down, just by listening to his voice. She also guessed that he was fairly young, and male.

"And then what?" Ravi asked, pursuing the point. He was bound and determined to find out why that would be a bad thing. At the moment, he couldn't come up with a conceivable reason he wouldn't like this filly to find him.
