Juri frowned. So he had competition. Of course he would...what did he expect? He'd taken so long to grow... "It sounds amazing. You should tell me more about this Requiem. Is he a memeber of your herd? Your family?"

Aegle looked at Juri and caught his frown. "Requiem? Well he is a member of my herd but he's not family. He's one of the vampires that's considered part of the herd." She said with her head tilted, "He's really kind and old fashion. I think the only reason he danced with me was to avoid one of the females there. Anything else you want to know about?"

Aegle smiled and shook her head. "I don't think you really pried. I suppose I would call it curiosity." She said nodding, "Yes they are doing well.... at least my mother, father, and brother are. I do not know about anyone else on my father's side. I do wonder how Circe and Van are doing. I haven't seen them in ages."

"They are well. Van is a strapping young fellow who spends a great deal of time to himself, while Circe is still a yearling. And do you remember Serena, little black demoness with pink horns and eyes?"

Aegle paused in their walk while her eyes grew wide. "Circe still hasn't grown into an adult?" She asked, "Serena..... Yes I do vaguely remember her. Is there something up with her?"

Aegle's eyes grew wide again as a smile grew on her face. "She has children?! And a mate!?" She said nearly prancing for joy around Juri, "And one of her kids is mated to one of my uncles! A small world indeed! I'm now related to her!" She looked up at him smiling, clearly happy and excited about the news.

"I've heard that Serena's mate is not quite on the level, but I'm sure that she is faring well." He chuckled, "You are quite excited about children that aren't yours. Though I can understand the excitement of being related to such as Serena. She was, and perhaps is still, a pistol." Juri took his other hoof and let it grasp Aegle's lightly, "And, should you want to meet your father's family, a majority of them are in my herd. I could arrange for you to meet them."

Aegle nodded. "I hope she's doing well. If he's mistreating her I'll set him straight! Now that's she's family there will be no stopping me if someone hurts her." She said with a huff, "And of course I'm excited about children. I love them! I often watch Fleur and Madoc as well as the two new additions, Andraste and Marcus." She looked down when he took her one hoof and then looked up taking in his words. "Really?! Oh I would love to see them! Thank you Juri!" She said hugging him and giving him a nuzzle.

Juri shook his head, "It would be best to let Serena's father handle her lifemate. Serena's kind are not supposed to hurt their women at all...and yet he has. I would not wish for him to harm you as well." He smiled again, "You must be wonderful with children. Your family will be pleased with that. Your grandmother is looking for more little ones to spoil."

Aegle huff and made a pouting face. "I can take care of myself." She said looking away. She waited a minute before looking back at him. "I guess I'm good with kids. Grandma wants little ones to spoil? Is she expecting some from me?! ...... I don't even have a mate yet! How can she be wanting kids to spoil when I don't have a mate?"

Juri laughed again, "Your grandmother has several other relatives to ask for grandchildren from. I am sure that she would love for you to have some though, if they are something that would make you happy."

Aegle calmed down a bit. "Yeah... I forgot. I have lots of family members for Grandma to get grandchildren from." She said smiling, "Oh I would love to have kids! I bet they'd be so adorable! I can't help but think of what they'd look like. Me? My mother? My father? Grandma? Grandpa? My mate? His family? Oh the possibilities!"

"I am sure they would be adorable and treasured." Juri curbed the next phrase that threatened to escape, keeping it to himself. Any children of mine are bound to be adorable. "And I am sure you would be an excellent mother."
