Day 16: Game Over
Oxidado was happily greeted by her fellow jailmates, the cell seemed to be the only safe place lately, and with
Oxidado now convicted by the remainder of the town, the full jailcell was being emptied later that night into the Gambino State Jail. With
Oxidado still pleading innocence the Mayor and the Sheriff were at a loss, someone needed to be stuck in jail to keep the State happy. So
Steven the Cow called a meeting with the two remaining townspeople,
Cherry Ave and
Sunset SonataWhen it came time for the meeting the two possible convicts filed into the room as
Bubba the Jailbird drove off with the other jailed townspeople.
Steven the Cow locked the door and went to meet with the Governor of the State.
Sunset Sonata spoke up as both convicts took a seat at either side of the table. “So it was you all along…” She said, frowning at the Crazed Killer infront of her. The Crazed Killer smiled and nodded. “Why did you do it?” She questioned as the crazed killer stood.
Sunset Sonata tensed up.
“Isn’t is obvious? I have a cookbook to promote you know, and you all were just getting in my way.”
Cherry Ave grinned, placing her hands on
Sunset Sonata’s shoulders. Everything went black.
As the Sheriff and the Mayor returned to the city and opened the room they found blood smeared everywhere, it looked like there was a struggle. On the table in the center of the room was a box. Upon opening the box they found an interestingly iced cake. On the cake was the scene of a sunset and ontop of the sunset was a note.
It’s been a real blast. Hope you enjoy the present.
The Crazed Killer,
Cherry Ave had won.
-------------------------------------------------
It’s been a fun game. I’ve enjoyed writing a lot. I’ve learned a lot about responsibility and organization this game and I really hope that you all had fun playing. Special thanks to
Cherry Ave for always being prompt.
Soy La Chupacabra for taking up the Sniper mantle after my mistake.
Everyone else who played the game.
Game notes!
After the issue that happened Day 2 I was a lot more careful with my updates, when day five came around there was no kill. No rule directly decides what you should do if you do not receive a kill so I took it as writers liberty. Things I’ve observed, you guys did very well at extracting some of the clues and hints given to you, but when you have a theory it’ll help you win to see it through, I don’t really now when Cherry Ave took over the game completely, but there was a good chance that you all would catch her if you’d stayed with Suki Whiteangel’s theory.
To anyone hoping to apply as GM, please do. It’s a great experience and you learn a lot about yourself and the game from doing it. Organization is key, whoever gave me that hint about how to color code excel? I love you, that saved my a** this game. It’s really valuable. Also, always give yourself time to write the update between the deadlines for voting. Locking and moving the thread is interesting and a good thing to know how to do, I did not figure it out until day seven or so, I knew I was supposed to be able to but I couldn’t figure out how, hey bottom left corner of the page.
biggrin Thanks again, see you game XXXVII!
