How much snow does it take to be considered "snowed in" in the UK?
Varies, we've got about 4/5 inches but we aren't snowed in, though there's no public transport running in or out of town, in town everything is normal, just whiter, some places are due for 40cm. We're going to get more today/tonight.

Yep, bus drivers here are mostly foreign and used to driving on the wrong side of the road xD. There was a fair amount of powersliding by said buses to be seen rofl
Needless to say, they closed the public transport here at about midday xP
Rare? The last snow here was Feb '09. Before that? I really don't remember, a good few years.
