Mr. Weaver's baby girl was crying. She was CRYING!! He bit onto his thumb a bit harsher, as if trying to prevent his own flood of emotions to spew forth. Mr. Weaver was a very loud crier, one who got swept up in the moment and would accidentally crush the innocent in his strong arms. Yvette had suffered his strong emotions recently when she had been in the hospital. It was probably the worst way to wake up, being crushed to near-death by her Daddy's hugging arms.
The girl's crying had never been very strong. She had plenty of emotions running through her, but her tears never turned into anything very loud. Yvette cried until she could cry no more, easily nuzzling up against any proffered shoulder at the time. Today it was Melody who received the quiet girl's attentions. Yvette's tears gradually began to slow, and eventually, her eyes felt so dry, that even if she thought she could get one more tear out, she figured her eye would disintegrate from the lack of moisture. For a moment, she kept her head upon the girl's shoulder, breathing quietly in an attempt to regain her composure. When she finally lifted her head, her eyes were a bit red and puffy, with streaks left from the trails of her tears. "Th-thank you for p-putting up with me, Melody," she meekly offered, her voice still slightly distorted from all her tears.

She pulled away just slightly, to better look down at the shorter girl she was holding. Because yes, four inches was enough of a difference, thank you very much. A smile lit her features again, glad to see that Yvette was doing better now that her tears had stopped.
"I didn't put up with you, Yvette. I spent time with you and was a shoulder for you to cry on." A small giggle from the ganguro's mouth. "And I'd do it any time of day, no questions asked so don't you dare think otherwise, okay?"

Offering her typical tiny smile, the girl once again repeated her gratitude with a simple "Thank you!"
To ruin this tender moment, Mr. Weaver had drawn up to where the two girls were and announced himself with a hearty bellow. "Alright Pumpkin! We need to head home before I am late for work!" Though he was smiling broadly, he still looked a bit emotional over the whole ordeal.
Yvette knew that Daddy had a point, so all she offered was a meek little "K-kay!"
Without another word, Mr. Weaver literally scooped up his daughter in his arms as if she was some sort of young child. He was definitely strong and made this seem almost effortless. He gave his daughter a kiss on the cheek, then looked down to the strange-makeup girl. He was still wary about her physical appearance (because it was just that bizarre), but she seemed to have a good and caring head upon her shoulders. With a well practiced gyration, he managed to balance his daughter in the crook of one elbow, while offering out his large hand for a handshake to this kind girl.
"It was nice to meet you, Miss Melody, was it?"
From her momentary perch, the quiet Yvette couldn't help but giggle out "Daddy, you are so silly!"

Startled by his sudden loudness, though amused by his sweet he was to his daughter, Melody only smiled up at him before moving to lower her head down to Yvette to say goodbye. This was put on hold as the large man scooped his daughter up, actually scooped her up!, into his arms and the scene was very comical. And very sweet.
Brown tried to follow as he managed to shift the small girl into the crook of one arm to hold out the other for a hand shake and she couldn't help but place her small hand in his large one to do so.
"It was very nice to meet you as well, Mr. Weaver."
Gawd his hand was huge around hers! As the tiny girl let out a giggle so did Melody, and she turned her attention up to smile at her.
"And it was nice to see you again, Yvette. I hope we meet again."

Fully aware of his strength, he gave one of the more gentle handshakes with this girl. Mr. Weaver was not about to crush some polite girl's hand. Maybe if there was a boy around trying to make goo-goo eyes at his daughter, it would be another story altogether.
The dark-haired girl smiled to the blonde and returned the sentiment. "Yes, it would be nice to meet up again!" Lifting her hand, she waved as her father repositioned the girl into both of his arms again. As the large man began to carry the girl with him, the faint sound of Yvette's voice could be heard saying "See you around!"
As the two left in his truck, Mr. Weaver couldn't help but ask Yvette about the girl's makeup. There were just some things that Daddies didn't understand, or at least that was the conclusion the girl had come up with.
