"Ah great! Another straggler. Welcome! I think four should be ok for now, it's been ten minutes and I want to get started. Any latecomers can just catch up. So, today we are going into the Training Center, obviously. We wont be going in toooo far, but I do have a surprise planned for you, which I will get to in time. For now, we will be fighting the basic monsters we have here, and I want you to identify each monster and its strength and weaknesses, and try to exploit your knowledge as you battle. Any questions?"
Aki stands before the students, waiting for any replies.

"Alright, well if there are no questions, lets get going," Aki says smiling.
She turns, and walks into the Training Center. After a few moments, they come across some bite bugs.
"Perfect! Can I have a volunteer tell me a little about this creature here?" she says, keeping a distance.

Hunter pull out a Card he keep so he can study when he is not in Class "I will Miss Aki, A Bite Bug is A bug monster that flies, They fly around Balamb Island and at higher levels can inflict Poison status with their Needle attack. Although they are easy to overwhelm with physical attacks, stocking up on healing items such as Antidotes and Remedies is advised.
Bite Bugs also provide useful magic, such as Scan and Fire"
Hunter put his Card away but thats one of the only few he had on him

Hunter Draws His Katana and enters battle with the Bite Bugs and Hunter makes short work of the both of them "Alright Miss Aki, we can move on to the next area" Hunter Sheath his Katana

Bite Bugs? Neat. They didn't seem to be too tough though. Mental notes were made and Adara went to moving on with the rest of the group.

"Damn damn damn damn, I'm late!" Shiro was sprinting down the halls, kicking himself for not checking the map thing that he had seen when first entering the garden. Turns out he had gone the wrong way and was damn near on the other side of the garden before he realized, looking at his watch it was already ten minuets past the start of class. He ran like a mad man hoping he could still catch the class, practically bursting through the training center entrance. He looked around frantically, happy to see that the group hadn't gone far. "Sorry I'm late Professor!" he exclaimed as he tried to catch his breath, it looked like they were fighting some bug things. "The heck are those? Wait I know this...uh...something bugs?"

"Welcome Shiro! They're Bite Bugs... you'll probably encounter them frequently, so you can revise on your own. Lets move on," Aki says.
She keeps walking, and after a minute or two they come across three grats.
"Alright, can anyone tell me what these are and any info about them?" she says, waiting for volunteers.

Oh! She knew this one!
"Grats!" it was a bit of an outburst, but it was effective enough, "They attack with their tenticles and they're weaker against Fire attacks and spells since they're a plant monster."
Adara smiled for a moment and then doubted herself, "I think?"

"Good Adara! They are indeed weak to fire spells, as well as ice spells. Watch out for their gas attack, it can cause sleep and it wouldn't be good to fall asleep in battle," Aki says.
Her hand begins to with a brilliant red light which seeps from between her fingers. She shoots her spell at the closest Grat, killing it instantly with her high level magic.
"Adara, would you like to dispose of another? And Shiro, why don't you take the third," Aki says, beckoning her students into battle.

"Your right on that Adara and Its body is mostly a digestive bag. Digests enemies by catching them with its vine. It Uses a gas attack that causes Sleep."

Thankfully she had loaded her explosive rounds into the pistol and it wouldn't take her too long to be rid of the second grat. She stepped up with her pistol drawn but the monster decided to take first swing at her.
One of the long tenticles swept at her and crashed into her right shoulder, knocking her slightly off guard. Luckily she kept hold of her weapon. It stung a fair bit but it wasn't enough to do a lot of damage. She raised the Beretta and took aim.
Two shots fired, each hitting and letting off a small explosive burst on the creature. It surprised her how easily it went down witht the explosive rounds loaded. Not only that, the burst went out further than expected and took down the third as well.
Then the pain of the whipped tenticle set in.
"Ow!" her hand came up to where she had been hit to find that her canvas jacket had been ripped and she was bleeding slightly. "Damn..."

She approaches her and casts a Curaga spell, healing her wounds.
"Lets move on! You ok Adara?" she asks.
