Into Shadow
He was listening closely to the rushed words of the man on the other end of the line and his foot set to tapping in an irritated sort of way against the floor. It all sounded quite cliche in his mind, far to much like something out of a 'B-rated' horror movie for it to be a legitimate call. No doubt it was some sort of false alarm due to pranks pulled by a bunch of teenagers who had nothing better to do with their time aside from attempt tp send some poor old preacher to an early grave. Normally he wouldn't even bother to involve himself in such ridiculous assignments, he'd leave them to small time hunters but...
Shin's eyes turned to where the twins Tsukiko and Yoko sat, playing with some toys that he'd gotten them not to long ago since he was tired of them getting into his stuff. He really wasn't the fatherly type and why he'd decided to take them in was still beyond him but... now that they were here he wasn't about to neglect them. He supposed that after so long of watching monsters kill humans, humans hunt monsters, and the gallons of blood that ensued he was rather... pleased to find a set of monsters that not only wanted to be human but shed their monster skin so that they could better fit in. He was impressed by the two pups no matter how young they were.
And thusly he couldn't really skip by jobs anymore. He had three mouths to feed, bodies to cloth, and all that. He needed money so really his 'Semi-Retired' status was started to fade away. No more just picking up jobs when he felt it nessasary it was more like 'Oh s**t I'm about out of such and such gotta get a job' and here he was listening to some preacher crying about creepy stuff in a graveyard, "Fine, fine. I will be over as soon as I can." He told the guy, took down the address and then hung up.
"Tsu, Yoko. I am gonna have to go out for a while do you think that you can take care of the house while I am away?" He supposed if nothing else it was nice that the sun was down and thusly he need only to deal with the nicer of the two in conversation.
"Ahh. Yes, yes we can take care of things." Tsukiko said, rising up to his feet, brushing off some before he walked over to Shin, looking up at him wide eyed and curious, "Where you going?"
"Just on a quick job. You know how it goes." He said, he'd taken a couple here or there since he'd taken them in so they knew how things worked around here. He would leave, they would lock the doors and they would wait for him to come back home. It was simple as that. Tsukiko nodded his head, understanding and chose it seemed to ignore the look that was on his brother's face. He was very displeased, very angry that once again they were stuck home playing house sitter while their father got to go off hunting down dangerous creatures in the night. He wanted to go to damn it! But he was lacking the voice to argue said point with, night had father, the moon was up, and Tsukiko had access to their shared voice.
What a pain...
"So things are all set then. I doubt that this will be much more then a routine inspection, I think its just some highschoolers getting their kicks by tormenting the preacher man." He said assuringly to Yoko who he could tell was just twitchy at the idea of being stuck home again, "No reason to drag you around at night when its still cold for no reason right?"
"Alright, we will await your return." Tsukiko said, his little tail wagging furiously behind him in a way that seemed to get Yoko that much more in a dark mood. Tsukiko was a damn Hellhound! Around this one he acted far to much like a damn dog trained to his masters heel, obeying commands, doing tricks, and all for what? Attention? Love? Who knew when this one would abandon them like their last set of parents?
"You two be good, stay safe, and take care of each other." He said after getting a few things out of his 'office' and headed out the front door, the three locks on it sliding into place via his keys.
"So! Wanna play now Yoko...?" Tsukiko blinked a couple times as his brother stalked off over to flop down on the couch, "Wha? What is it?" He asked following after him, plopping down on the couch, "Tell me? Tell meeeee!"
Yoko gave him a look that clearly said, 'Tell you how?' and he laid his ears back, he wanted to do something exciting! Not stay home... staying home was so... dull.

Into Shadow 2
"I thought that he said it was supposed to be a routine sort of thing." Yoko complained as he glarred out of the window, he had the voice which meant that it was getting close to morning. He wasn't worried, no why should he worry over a human so foolish as to go out and get himself eaten? He was only concerned because losing Shin would hurt Tsu... yes, that was it. He looked over at Tsu who didn't seem at all worried ove rhte fact that their new father was missing, instead he was in the kitchen preparing breakfast because he was sure that the man was going to appear at any time now. After a long night of hunting he would want a good meal that he didn't have to prepare himself was the blonde's thoughts, Yoko didn't even have to ask him to know that much. Tsu was to easily readable. Yoko pushed away from the window to walk over to his twin, leaning against him and laid his head on the other boy's shoulder, "We really should see about turning in soon. If we are up to long you get to the point where everything will make you cry and I get grumpy."
Tsu looked up at him, smiled then turned back to stirring the eggs in the pan. Yoko sniffed at them before giving a little smile, he would admit that since having come here Tsu had started to pick up some of the oddest talents. Shin let him into the kitchen one day and it went almost overnight from Tsu burning everything he tried to prepare to him making the most wonderful meals. Simple due to lack of any flashy ingredients but they were still good, better then one obtained through the scraps that came with begging and stealing that was for sure, "Ok, you can finish that and we can eat but then we need to go to bed. I am sure that when we wake up again that idiot will be home and complaining about how the job was a worthless one."
They'd heard that more then once. Him saying that the job was nothing, a false alarm, teenagers goofing off or whatever other sort of excuse so that they wouldn't worry. Of course then when he thought that he was out of sight he would wince over a bump or bruise, would have to wrap a wound or sew some sticthes on himself that showed exactly what his work truely entailed. He didn't want to think about it though. In his mind if he would allow them to go along that would be two more sets of eyes to keep look out, two more sets of hands to help with the work, but maybe... maybe it wasn't Yoko? Maybe it was Tsu's fault they had to stay behind. For a Hell Hound he was lacking in the instincts such as hunting and killing, he was more like a dog then a demon not that he wanted to hurt his twin's feelings. Its just how it was. Not everyone have the capability to be dangerous or be a hunter. It was something that was inside of you when you were born. Tsu had never had it.
Tsu lifted his wooden spoon to poke his twin in the arm then used it to point at the cabinet then to the table.
"You want me to set the table?" He asked then gave a grummbling sound as he did what he was asked to do, he supposed since Tsukiko had gone to all of the trouble of preparing the food he could do the easy job that was putting out plates, flatware, and glasses. He hesitated a moment before he got three of each thing that he would need and set them out, "I will wait to pour a drink of Shin so it won't get warm."
Tsukiko gave him a smile before walking over to the table dishing up some eggs onto each plate, went over to get the toast and set it out as well before taking his seat. Yoko poured the two of them a glass of milk before he got in his seat as well. The meal was eaten in silence both occasionally finding their gaze drifting over to Shin's empty chair and untouched food or over to the door as if expecting that he would be walking through it at any time. They would find themselves sadly disapointed to and soon enough they were both done with their meal, "Come on then Tsu. The dishes can wait in the sink for us to wake to be washed." He said as he gathered his and brought them over and put them in the sink with his twin following suit.
The blonde demon lifted a hand up to catch hold of Yoko's arm and tugged on it, a worried look deep in his eyes.
"I know, I know but there isn't much we can do but wait." He said, sighing. It wasn't as if they even knew where he was so it wasn't as if... they could follow? No... wait... maybe? He shook his head again, "When we wake up. If hes not here ok? We will look into following after him. Until then though we are going to sleep." He took hold of Tsu's hand lacing their fingers together and led him to their room. They crawled into their shared bed, curled up, and with only a bit of difficulty would find themselves soon to sleep.

The house was small, set away from civilized life it seemed, a out of the way house that was meant not to be found unless someone was looking for the place, unless Shin allowed somewhere to know where this place was. They were walking along down a long, long path that was bringing them to the little house. Halfway there though Keiji started to get a creepy-crawly sort of feeling, he found himself looking from side to side as if he were expecting for something dark and dangerous to dive out of the shadows at them. He moved closer to the hunter, he was a killer yes but he was the lesser of two evil in the instance of comparing him to a demon, "W-We have to stop." He finally said, reaching out to catch hold of the Hunter's arm and tugged at it. He gave a little whimpering sound, eyes gazing up at him in fear, "I-I can feel it, that same sensation as before but..."
He didn't a chance to speak though before that demonic presence was suddenly moving, rushing forward towards them at a considerable speed, Keiji stagger back, hands lifting up as if to defend himself from another attack... and small blond haired child, hard to tell if it were a he or a she, leapt into Shin's arms almost knocking him over onto his backside and clung, tightly. The blonde child had a wagging puppy dog tail and ears that were turned forward making him as a very happy critter. That would all be well and good in Keiji's mind if he didn't know instantly that the demonic power, or at least half of it, belonged to this one.
"N-No... No that is a demon! Look out before it bites you." He said, staggering back away from it and into another form. He let out a shriek of surprise as he turned and found another demon, this puppy clearly a boy and a displeased one at that. It had silver hair instead of gold and blue eyes instead of orange. The other half of the demonic energy he'd felt, twins then he realized. He moved away from him a step before the silver one lunged, instantly Keiji who was caught flat footed and unawares fell backwards, pinned under the assault. Yoko had his knees on fragile wings and his hands went for Keiji's throat.
"Ah! Yoko!" The blonde cried, a sound echoed by Shin. He'd not brought Keiji here to subject him to more abuse... he set Tsukiko down quickly and lunged, grabbing hold of Yoko around his waist and drug him up off of the angel, the demon wasn't done though, he flail, grabbed at, and caught hold of the angel's shirt. There was a tearing sound of cloth then both demons seemed to freeze in place, their eyes narrowing on the mark... and Yoko realeased the bits of shirt that he'd had hold of. Angels were bad, they were something that needed destroyed at all costs, their wings were to be broken every feather removed, their hair yanked out strand by strand, eyes removed, limbs cut away, but this... this was not an angel. This one wasn't to be feared, no not at all. It was to be pitied, laughed at, it was useless to its kind, it was banished away from its home. Branded, useless, ugly...
"Ahh... poor angely." Tsukiko murmured, kneeling down to pat his head as Keiji sat up. The angel clung to the scraps of his shirt and cast a glare at Yoko, not noticing that Tsukiko's eyes were on his back, a small, gentle hand rubbing over it and the scars that marked him there, "You poor, poor thing..."
Yoko felt that anger returning, now it wasn't because this thing was an angel, no now it was because it was trying to take his brother away. Jealousy, white hot ran through his veins and Yoko lowered his head to bite at Shin's arm. He wasn't about to let his brother be stolen away from him by some once angel. No... he would kill it first! He kicked out at Keiji, struggling in vein to get his feet to connect but the winged boy had been smart enough to move away from him, eyes narrowed and breathing a bit quick as he pushed himself to his feet.
"W-What is the meaning of this! I thought you were a hunter! I thought you killed these things. They are demons! You should destroy them now before they killed you in yours sleep!' Keiji raged at Shin, everything seeming to fall back into that grey area that he didn't understand. The three of them, Tsu and Yoko on one side and Keiji on the other had been trained about what they should think of their opposing enemy, what they should do to them, Demons were Evil in the mind of an Angel and vise versa!
"N-No... please. No fighting... he just got home..." Tsukiko said, hands clasping in front of him, eyes looking rather teary. The nice man had just returned, he was safe and now his brother was getting into a fight with Shin's company... "Please... lets not fight..."
Keiji rounded on him, "Your disgusting twin started this! He is the one that attacked first, isn't that so like one of your kind though."
Yoko's eyes widened and his teeth barred in a silent snarl before he started to struggle again, hands curling into claws, reaching for the angel's pale throat...
Shin gave a growl and Yoko was suddenly tossed aside, to land in a heap next to his twin. The look on his face was one of surprise and Tsukiko wrapped his arms around him to keep him from trying to attack again, Keiji opened his mouth to comment but before he could there was a loud, 'crack' that rung out and Shin lowered his hand to his side a red handprint left behind on the angel's cheek, "This is my home. All three of you are guests here, taken in because I deemed you worthy, decided that it would be ok for you to come here. Don't make me regret it." He hissed at them, before stalking ahead of them. Let the three of them work it out of rip each other apart, currently it seemed he did not care.
Tsukiko blinked a couple times, backing away from Yoko and Keiji his ears laid back and his tail between his legs, "You made him mad." He murmured before he turned to bolt after the man that was their current 'father' figure.
Keiji sat down heavily, hand lifting to the red mark and looked wounded... less from the slap and more because the man had left him here. He looked after Shin but didn't pursue. Not yet, not until he cooled off. Yoko pushed to his feet, shook off and spat at the angel before he moved away from him but also didn't seem to be heading for the house. Not ready to face Shin either it seemed.

"Shin! Hey! Human!" A voice yelled through the bedroom door in an attempt to stir him from his deep, long sleep, "Hey! I waaaaanna have dinner tell Keiji to cook for me!" Yoko was glarring at the door. He was going to lose his voice soon and before that happened he meant to get the two that were sleeping to wake up so that he could get some food. Tsukiko was far to quiet, far to kind he would just wait patiently at the door to the room like a trained puppy for Shin and Keiji to emerge and make dinner. He didn't want to wait as long as that, "Come on! I am starving to death out here!"
Shin gave a grunt, eyes opening up to look over at the door and gave it a dark glare, what in the world was that pup going on about now? He pushed to sitting up, "What is it that you want Yoko?"
"Food!" He whined, hands beating against the door, "Come on!"
The hunter gave a grunt of response before reaching over to shake the angel awake that was curled up in a ball, wings wrapped around him to keep out the light, "Come on Keiji, its time to get up. We have a lot to do, a lot to get ready for now though we need to get the food ready before the two puppies starve." The last part said in an amused voice. He knew full well that both Yoko and Tsukiko could cook though only the simplest of dishes, they wanted for Shin and Keiji to be awake so that they could get more complex meals. The angel's stripped wings gave a flutter as he got up to his feet, "I don't wanna be up." He murmured even as he stretched out from head to toe, wing tip to wing tip.
"We all have to do things that we don't want to do." He said, tapping a finger against the Relic around his neck. This time he didn't seem quite as serious, teasing the angel a bit to get him moving, "After we have dinner we will go out. We have some shopping to do. Get the case from where you stashed it and I will get out what will need for this trip then we will hide it again."
Keiji nodded and moved to do as he was told.
"Ahh... ahh...? Shin?" Came anothe voice from outside the door, it caught the hunter's attention as that was Tsu's voice which meant that the time must be getting late for the voice to move from being in Yoko's command to Tsu's command, "S-Sorry about my brother, we can wait on dinner." He called.
"Its fine Tsukiko, you go on and wait for us on the couch and we will get your food shortly." He said as he opened up the door, looking down at the golden hair puppy.
Tsukiko nodded, smiling then took his brother's hand to drag the now silent but glarring boy off away from the door and to the couch to sit down like good dogs. Or at least that was the way that Yoko saw it but as he could no longer say anything for the next twelve hours he was going to have to agree with his brother and follow after him. What a pain! He was at least when shortly after the angel and the hunter were in the 'kitchen' which was another section of the main room of the house.
"After dinner the four of us are going out so you will need to dress nicely." Shin told the twins who had moved from the couch to watch the preparing of the food, they weren't allowed to use sharp knives, the oven, or a few other things. They could use the stove top and a few other things that weren't dangerous to them and didn't run a risk of burning down the house. So their food choices were rather limited. To get to see the hunter preparing them meat and the angel working on noodles for a side made the two of them dance back and forth, their tails wagging wildly.
"Please don't drool on the food." Keiji said, turning to give the two pups a look.
Tsukiko growled at the angel and while Yoko just silently barred his teeth at him.
"Be nice to the angel." Shin said not even looking up at them, instead tossing the slices of meat into a pan to sizzle up. Instantly the scent of cooking meat had the two pups' tails a wagging again. It smelled so good...
"How about the two of you set the table?" Keiji suggested.
Tsukiko looked him over before nodded, "Can do." He said, hurrying over to small cabinet in the corner to get out what was needed, handing it to Yoko who brought it over to the table. When they had all the needed plates, flatwear, and glasses the two of them set the table up to be ready for when the food was ready for them. The two then climbed up into their seats.
"Foods up." Shin said, carrying the pan over and put a slab of meat onto each of the four plates before putting it in the sink, Keiji served the noodles then poured milk for everyone. They all sat down and set to eating, wolfing down the food that was before them. That was at least one good thing Shin thought to himself, the Godling that was coming to live in their family was male so the kid wouldn't be put off by their lack of manners.
When they were done Shin set the three of his charges to get ready, dressed nicely and cleaned up so that they could go out and at least pretend to look respectable.

(( cross posted in Keiji, the Twins, and Vishal's Journals )) Journal Oh for the love of... well if you ask me I am rather surprised that we were only kicked out of the one of the many stores that the four of us went to. I suppose that while I could dress them up it wasn't that I could take them out. Well I can't complain hugely about Keiji as normal it would seem the angel was playing the part of the Mom and trying to keep the other two in line. It never does work when I am around though as there can only be one power of authority at a time with the twins. If I am around they don't listen to Keiji, Yoko worst of all. The three of them are good kids but honestly there are days I want to toss them out of a moving vehicle, pains right in the a** I mean it. Passed the normal fighting between demons and the angel that seems as old as time itself shopping went rather well. I found a pen that I think is worthy of a monster god. Its big enough too that the kid won't be able to easily escape even after he learns how to stand up. Its great! Instead of having the mesh siding which I found to be a huge waste of money instead its wooden bars. So basically its a cage without a top. Along with it there are a good half dozen toys that are the kind that can take a beating and make it through alright, a couple of them even having a sort of guarentee on them that if they somehow break that I can take them back and get a replacement. I will take them up on that off if it happens believe me. Got the pull out couch for the twins, they seemed to like it as it was the only time on the whole trip that they were smiling and having no conflict with Keiji, they were instead checking out all of the pull outs and jumping on them, sitting on them, laying on them until they found the perfect one. While its comfortable and while it was their choice I have to say the one that they picked out is the most god awful pattern ever. Looks like someone ate a box of crayons then threw up. I am not gonna complain as I am not going to be sitting on the monstrousity. After the furniture store and that was when we went to get the toys, half of them for the Monster God, almost half for Yoko and Tsu as I figure they need something to occupy their time that doesn't involve bugging the hell out of Keiji, and then a few things for Keiji mostly things I found him starring at in interest even if he hadn't asked for them I tossed them in the cart. Hes a teenager and I really think he probably should have some video games of his own so despite his protests I got him one of those hand held things and a handful of various types of games. After that was the clothing store which went the worst possible, the twins it would seem would rather run around half naked then have to try on clothing. It ended up I picked them out several things, what do I know about chosing clothing for little kids, and tossed them into the cart along with stuff that Keiji got for himself and then there was the problem of clothing for the Monster God, having no idea what its going to look like I have no idea what I was supposed to get for it. So instead of getting any clothing this time around I just got the diapers and figured once the brat arrives I can figure out what it will need. Food shopping, shoe shopping, and then to a store that the kids weren't allowed in as its were I get my jobs from and where I get things that I will need for them and we were headed for home. I don't think I was ever so happy as to see the place. The men showed up not long later with a truck to drop off the twins' new couch and haul off the old one. Place is far to small for more then one of them to be in the room without horribly cluttering up the place, that and I was pretty sure the two would bounce back and forth between the two and break something. All in all while I survive the experiance its not one that I am looking forward to doing again any time soon, next time I will give the brats some money and send them along on their own. It will give me a headache free chance to hang out at home without them, would be the first time in almost a year that it would happen. ~Shin

(( cross posted in Keiji, the Twins, and Vishal's Journals )) The second day had gone without any huge incident, breakfast had gone about as smoothly as any meal in his family did. It would seem that the twins had no real interest though in any sort of fruit thusly the bananas that were on there plate were shoved off onto the table and ignored while the bacon and eggs were wolfed down like tomorrow there would be no meat left in the world. He then left Keiji in charge while he went out telling them that he had a small job not far from home so he would no doubt be home before dark. After all he didn't know exactly how the Godling was supposed to appear before him, he hoped that it wasn't anything like how he had been given the relic that hung around his neck. Either way he didn't think that he wanted for it to happen when he was out and that it would be the best to wait at home for it to happen. The job though seemed simple enough, an older woman said that there was something terrible infesting her barn. Whatever it was it made the most God awful shreik before it attacked!
Already it had claimed the lives of some of her precious, prize winning birds and she wanted for something to be done about it.
When he arrived and set to looking around it took him about five minutes to discover both the problem and the 'monster' that was within the barn. He had ended up helping her with repairs to the coops that the birds were kept in as the 'enemy' was little more then a screech owl and he wasn't about to kill a random animal since it wasn't doing anything harm it was just feeding chicks. He couldn't feel any sympathy for someone that left the cages her birds were in without tops on them. It was the same as saying: 'Here you go Miss Owl, time for dinner'. Of course the bird of prey would make its nest near to the barn given such an opportunity. Odd that he was able to see animals in a good light and monsters in such a bad one. There were other factors though that he wasn't about to share with the world though.
A wasted afternoon if you asked him but he did get paid a little bit for being such a 'helpful young man'.
He arrived back at home as the sun was starting to set once more, he found himself looking down at his relic for a moment as if he was wearing. It was still hanging around his neck in the form of the necklace, no sign of any change like there had been in his dream. He gave a yawn, was odd that he was feeling rather sleepy even though he hadn't really done anything today that should be making him sleepy at least not if you asked him. He walked into the house finding the twins playing around in the kitchen, dancing around the angel somewhere in a cross between trying to drive him crazy or speed him up with the cooking. Hard to tell. Shin gave a yawn before walking by them and to his room plopping down on the bed.
"Bad day?" Came a voice a moment later.
Shin looked over at the door seeing Tsu standing there, watching him.
"Naw, I was chasing owls all day." He said, shaking a hand then rolled onto his side, "I'm going to take a nap. Wake me up when dinner is ready?"
Tsukiko nodded his head, "I will!" He yipped, tail wagging before he turned to hurry out of the room, closing the door behind him.
The hunter gave a yawn before letting his eyes close and a moment later he slipped in sleep...
It was rare for the baby to be ready to change back to its form in the daytime. But Shin had a rather quickly developing kid. As he slept his soul seemed to leave his body, floating above it, the soul of the relic around his neck. The godling's spirit must have taken the form of the relic so it would be used to being in a body again. However, Shin had other things to worry about.
After all it's not usually that you go to sleep, leave your body, and see a crazy ghostly door on the other end of your room. Wait-Ghostly door?! Where the heck had that come from? And what was with the funky doorknob? It was an old black door and had a gold knob that was in the shape of one of those oriental dogs-or dragons. Whichever. Anyway it seemed to be beckoning him to enter it. What was that about? Probably the god-kid's doing.
At first the man was rather confused at where he was, well both where he was and why it felt as if he were floating instead of laying down like he remembered being. Shin starred at the door blankly for a moment before he stepped forward towards it, finding his hand reaching out to take hold of decorative knob to turn it and turned it. He had seen the animal depicted on it before though never a live one, only the statues of the ones that were sold in certain shops in the mall. He pushed the door open and looked inside, he didn't see anything aside from darkness from this time so he forced himself to step forward through the door.
There was something on the other side of this door so he was going to have to face whatever it was, "Hellos?!" He called, voice seeming to echo into the darkness.
Behind him the door closed and vanished. But what was more interesting was what was laying on the ground before him. A young man with fang-like teeth and a rather odd hairstyle seemed to be dead on the floor. He had the tail of a large scorpian and batlike wings. His lower body was somewhat spider like. While there seemed to be a headdress that had been hiding his face it was ripped to shreds. His skin was dark, possibly obsidian. Upon it there were strangely colored markings. He looked rather exotic but what was most interesting was his hair. He had two rather large bangs that jutted from his forhead and fell forward near his eyes. His hair went back in a strange spikey version of a mohawk and on the sides he seemed to have cornrows. But they all joined at the back to form one long braid at the top of his head. This braid had feathers and claws hanging from it, just as they hung around his neck. Oooooookay then.
What showed that he was dead was a giant gaping hole in his chest. And there was a mark around his neck. As if he'd been decapitated and his head had somehow been returned in this ghostly state. Shin, having had his job for the time he had, knew the mark of a monster hunter who'd taken his prize.
And lucky him. The strange beckoning was seeming to ask him to touch the body. Oh joy.
Shin was frozen place for a moment as he looked the body in front of him over, moving forward studying it intently. It was like no creature that he had ever see before and for a moment he felt the desire to try to figure it out, what was it exactly? He had pieces to several of the monsters that he had before separately seen. A giant scorpion, a giant spider, the wings of a large bat... he wondered if the wings could carry his large form with what it was like... maybe? The hair style was quite interesting too, flashy.
He had to applaud whatever hunter took this beast down, that had to be one hell of a fight against something like this.
He took another step closer to it, why was it that he felt the urge to reach out to the body? Was this... was this it? This was the Monster God? Couldn't be... well it would make sense for God to have pieces of several different monsters. He tried to draw his hand back but he couldn't seem to do it, couldn't seem to draw it back, "No..." He murmured, giving a little jump as his hand came to rest on the creature's body.
And yet as he thought it couldn't have been it was. The Tison Monster God had been taken down-by a sub-par monster hunter even. While he'd been able to slay any foe before seen this one had been possessed by another Deity and therefore had power the young god did not. He'd quickly fallen at that.
When Shin's hand touched the body it began to glow as did the chain around his neck. The relic and the body were both covered in a strange light-making it impossible to see anymore. The necklace shot from it's position and into the form. And after the glowing ceased there lay a dark skinned baby on the floor where the god had been laying. His skin didn't have all of the markings and he looked a lot more human then that god had-what with no tail, no fangs, human legs, and no wings-but it was most noticible that he had nice hair. It was a shade of red with golden tips. No mohawk right now but that may return as he grew. Well at least he was cute. So this was a baby godling. But what to do with him? Could he leave the child? Probably not they were both stuck in here. And the baby was awake anyway. Little did Shin know that when he picked up the baby the door would reappear, but only when he took the child.
Shin starred down at the body as it started to shift and change, instead of the massive form created by several different monsters pieced together. He found himself instead looking down at the creature... child. It was now human shaped and for the most part rather normal looking aside from the skin and hair colors. He knelt down in front of the kid before reaching out to pick him up. The baby gave a yawn and a grummbling sound, then gazed up at Shin with big eyes... before he gave an excited sort of sound before he leaned over and started to gnaw upon Shin's hand. Luckily for him though the kid was lacking in teeth, rising to his feet he saw the door had appeared once again behind him. He shifted the baby so that it was resting in the arm of the hand he was chewing on and walked forward towards the door. He paused to look over his shoulder around the darkened room.
"Come on brat. Lets go home shall we." He said, giving the boy a look. As he stepped back through the door again something occurred to him, unlike the twins and the angel this one didn't come with a name. He supposed that would be the first thing that he would have to do was figure out something to call him aside from 'brat'. Until he picked he supposed that 'brat' would be a sufficient nickname.
When they walked through the door they were again in the room. There was a small baby boy in the bed beside him-sleeping as well. When the two went back to their bodies they'd be pulled in and be able to wake up. After that he could deal with dressing, well introducing him to his brothers. And naming him of course. That'd need to be done soon. Maybe he should call Rouge to let her know even.

Shin came away starring up at the ceiling once again, he was having the weirdest dreams and he was completely sure that they were all the fault of the relic around his neck. The little monster was giving them to him, no doubt in an attempt to drive him crazy. Shin lifted a hand to his chest to where the relic had been only to find it missing. He gave a gasp and jerked to sitting up to look around for it, only for a moment as instead he found laying there on the bed rather contently the dark skinned child that he'd seen in his dream, "Ahh... so that wasn't a dream." He breathed, reaching out a hand towards the child but found himself freezing when red eyes opened up and starred up at him in a lazy manner, he flicked out his tongue at his father in a snake like sort of way and grummbed, "Good evening to you to, Brat."
The boy's eyes narrowed for a moment and he gave a sound that was somewhat like a growl.
"I'm sorry kid. You can't be seen as intimidating until your able to sit up on your own." He informed him, "And especially when you have no teeth."
The boy started to flail his arms and legs in a very indignant sort of way before he finally gave up realizing that the man was right and that he couldn't seem to sit up or attack from his current position. What a pain... so he settled for growling and glaring since he could do that at least. Shin shook his head before he got up to his feet, "And being cute isn't going to allow you to worm your way into my heart either." He informed him as he went to dig around in one of the bags that was sitting on the floor. He took out the package of diapers, looked them over in a blank sort of way before looking to see if there were instructions on them, after a moment he figured out how they worked and had one on the monster before it could pee on his bed... or worse.
"There we go. Now... what do little monsters eat?" He asked, reaching over to pick the kid up, walking out of his room. The little Godling was hissing in indination, he didn't need to be carried! He could do it on his own! He thought to himself then realized that he couldn't even figure out the words to yell at the person that was carrying him so he doubted that he could quite figure out the walking. And then he found himself deposited in the pen... the ultimate insult!
"Ahhh... what's that?" Tsu asked, sliding down off of the couch to look down into the pen. His gaze met those of the little boy in the pen before he giggled, so cute! And tiny! Tsu had never seen a baby before. He reached a hand down to pick up a toy to shake it in front of the baby. The rattling noise caught the monster's attention and the baby found himself utterly facinated by the sound and colors, "Here, here. Hold it?"
Small hands lifted and grasp at the toy though didn't seem to have the easiest time doing so, motor skills a little lacking having just been 'born'.
Yoko walked over to looked down at the kid, trying to see what Tsukiko found so facinating. It was just a little kid... he gave it a look then snorted. He had no real interest in it and found himself jealous that his twin did. Tsukiko was only supposed to play with him not with other random kids that he found! He reached down to take the hand that the rattle to try to pull Tsu away from the baby. The baby gave a hiss not because the blond was being taken but with him the rattle! Hey! That rattle belonged to him. The rattle forgotten as he caught hold instead of Yoko's hand and bit him, rather hard for someone without teeth.
Yoko's eyes went huge and he growled silently as he tried to jerk his hand away from the kid, thats it! The little brat was going to get a beating! He lifted his other hand, planning on decking the Monster God when his hand was captured. His angry eyes turned to glare up at Keiji.
"You leave him along." Keiji snapped, "Hes just a baby, he doesn't know any better."
"Besides Yoko, you started it taking his toy away." Tsu said, lowering the rattle again to shake it drawing the boy's attention once more to it and he released the hand he had been gnawing at to instead to play with the rattle. Yoko drew his hand back, shaking it before he shoved passed his twin and Keiji to go and sit down on the couch again to sulk. At about that time Shin returned with a cup of milk for the Godling.
"I see you three have met the little monster." He said, looking down at him.
"He's cute!" Tsukiko said, tail wagging wildly, this was echoed by a snort from Yoko.
"I am glad you think so, the three of you will be helping to care for him when I am at work." Shin said, reaching down to scoop the kid up again. He sat himself on the couch to and set to helping him to drink the milk. Yoko scooted as far from the baby as he could, glaring, "Don't like him already?"
"Heh, the kid bit him." Keiji explained.
"Not suprising. He seems rather bitey." He said.
The baby was hissing and growling as he ate the milk, it had a slightly sweet flavor to it that he rather liked so he couldn't suck it down fast enough. The cup was soon empty and the boy's belly slightly swollen from eating so much in such a short time. He gave a little burp and slouched back against Shin, looking over the other three that were watching him. He blinked his red eyes a couple of times before he gave a growl, shaking his hands at Tsukiko demandingly. The boy tilted his head to the side as he reached down to scoop up the rattle and brought it over to hand it to the baby.
The young Godling shook it and then gnawed at the handle, pleased.
"Brat." Shin muttered, rolling his eyes. He could tell already that being cute would get him in good with Tsu and being a God would get him in good with Keiji, as for Yoko... he would hate the kid because he was taking Tsu's attention and because he was something that Keiji liked. Rather how Shin wouldn't trust the kid because he was a Monster.
"Does he have a name?" Keiji asked, wings wiggling as he looked the boy over.
"I've been calling him brat." Shin said, grinning.
"Shin! That's not a name." The angel said crossing his arms over his chest, "And most certainly not a name for a Godling."
"Well when I come up with something better I will let you know." He said, slumping in a lazy manner back against the couch his stomach grummbling, "Can someone fetch me some dinner?"
Keiji nodded before he went to do as he was he asked.

The nameless but currently dubbed as 'Brat' Godling was sitting in his pen, yowling in anger at the others that were outside of it. This was sooo unfair! He got this bottle with milk in it, while really good currently that wasn't the point, and outside of his pen the rest of the family was eating something else. It smelled so good, so tasty! He wanted some of it too, why was it that they weren't sharing the meat with him! It had to be better then this!
"Want for me to go and get him?" Tsu asked of his father, tilting his head to the side.
The white haired monster hunter shook his head, "Everyone is supposed to be eating, that means him too. Hes gonna get spoiled if everyone carries him around all the time." This was mostly for Tsu and Keiji who had been holding the boy since he had arrived, loving on him and generaly spoiling the brat making him into a Super Brat. He gave a glance over at the kid then shook his head.
Yoko was glarring over the table at the pen, what a loud baby. Its voice was starting to grate on him, making his ears hurt and even with that Tsu wanted to go and pick him up, play with him. So unfair and annoying! He wanted to toss him outside like one did with a yapping dog. He seemed tempted enough that when Shin looked over at him and then seeming to read his thoughts through his eyes he shook his head, "No." He ordered, "Everyone just eat then you can decide how to deal with the brat."
Keiji looked up from his food, "He needs a name. Brat isn't a name that is suitable enough for a God!" He said, shaking his head. He was worried that the kid would actually start to think that 'brat' was his name before they could get him a better one, one that suited him better. A REAL name.
Shin nodded, "Yes, I suppose that he does." He murmured, glancing over at the pen again, listening to the yelling, the yowling, and the anger. He gave a sort of a humming sound before a smirk spread over his lips, "Vishal."
Keiji, Tsukiko, and Yoko all looked over at the hunter, confused, "Huh? Whats a Vishal?" Tsu asked.
"Vishal is perfect, it describes well his mouth." Shin said, taking another bite of the dinner that was sitting before him.
The three boys looked at each other as if hoping that one of them might know what Shin was talking about, then all of their gazes were back on Shin waiting in an expectant manner.
Shin grinned, "It means 'large'." He said, simply.
Yoko lost it, laughing silently but histarically and even Tsukiko couldn't help but do the same thing. They both knew that the name was basically Shin saying that the damn kid had a big mouth and naming him for it.
"Shin!" Keiji cried, "That isn't what I meant when I said he needed a suitable name!"
"But you do agree that its suiting?" Shin asked.
Keiji stuttered, flushed, then went back to eating. A way of admitting that yes it was a fitting name even if he didn't say it outloud, the baby did have a big mouth but...
"How about we finish up with dinner then we can work on finding him something to wear for tonight." Shin said, getting Keiji's attention on something else, "Will worry about getting him his own clothing tomorrow. Sound good?"
"I have something he can wear." Tsu pipped up, wolfing down the rest of the food he had on his plate before scurrying off to fetch one of his shirts, it would be long on the baby yes but it would keep him warm that was for sure. He bounced over to the table and held it out, "Here!"
Shin was just finishing and he nodded, "Go get him for me?"
Tsu nodded and took a couple of steps before he got his wrist captured by Yoko, "Ahh? What?" He asked of the glarring pup, unsure of what he was stopping him for. Then his gaze met Yoko's and he gave a soft sort of smile as he could almost read the jealousy there in the others eyes. He reached up to wrap his arms around his twin and snuggled him before looking to Keiji for help. He would let Yoko have his way which meant that someone else had to get the baby from his pen.
The angel nodded, seeming to understand as he got up to his feet going over to fetch Vishal himself. He scooped him up and instantly the boy went quiet, pleased that he had been picked up. He snuggled against the angel, petting his blond hair happily, "Your to cute." He said, picking up the shirt and helped Vishal into it. The boy looked down at it, flapping his arms and then set to picking at the shirt in a confused sort of way. Why was he wearing this, "You want to stay warm right?"
He looked up at him, he supposed so. He drew his legs up under the edge of the of the shirt then drew his arms in looking for a moment much like a turtle ducking into its shell, then he gave a giggle deciding that he liked the shirt for hiding in.
"So cute!" Keiji said, wings a flutter as he snuggled on the baby.
Shin rolled his eyes, the baby definately had Keiji wrapped didn't he...

Part One: Crsh! Gulp!
Vishal was happily working the rattle that he was holding in his hands, gumming at the thing hadn't seemed to help when it came to getting into it, he couldn't get at the red beads that were inside of the thing. It seemed like a task doomed to failure, or at least that was how it seemed to be when he first started to try. There was something else though, something had been happening of late that Vishal couldn't describe but was very pleased with, he was teething. The teeth as they came in were much more useful then anything a person or Godling could have hoped for. He was able to use them to leave marks in the surface of his rattle, he was sure that if he bit at it enough he would be able to get through the plastic outside and to those red, yummy looking beads that were on the inside. He just had to work at the task at hand until he suceeded. His eyes lifted up to watch as his favorite person cooked, his red eyes were watching the blue stripped wings that were fluttering about. Such pretty looking wings, rather mesmerizing to watch as they moved. They even dropped a feather now and again, one of which he had tried to eat but wasn't allowed to. No fun at all honestly, they thought him so young and weak tha he couldn't even eat something as small and weak as a feather? Hmph.
Keiji turned to look over his head at Vishal, maybe to make sure that he was still within his pen instead of running off again. He felt bad having to lock him up but the rolling was a skill that he was starting to become to good at, it worried the angel. He didn't want for him to get hurt or get into things that weren't his to play with. The last thing that Keiji wanted was for the Godling to get into something of Shin's or even worse something of Yoko's. He gave the boy a smile when he saw that all Vishal was doing was attacking his rattle as usual. There was a look of curiousity in Keiji's eyes, he wondered what it was about that particular toy that held the boy's interest. What was it that made him want only to play with that toy in particular and nothing else for most of the time, "Is that a good rattle?" He asked, kneeling down in front of the pen.
Vishal looked up at him, rattle stuffed into his mouth, the stick of it hanging out of his mouth. He tilted his head to the side then gave a grummbling sound from around what was in his mouth. Keiji couldn't help but laugh, he looked rather amusing and sounded it to trying to talk like that, "Your an odd little thing aren't you Vishal?" The angel pushed up to his feet once more, "Food is almost done which of course means that they are gonna be showing up."
Almost as if summoned by his words the twins suddenly burst through the door, then slammed it closed giggling, "Ah! Hey? Angel. Is the food done yet?" Yoko demanded of the angel as he walked over to look in the pots that were sitting on the stove, lifting up the covers from them to look inside to see what was there to be had. He set it down then peeked into the over, "Huh, doesn't look half bad now does it?"
Tsukiko shook his head then walked over to the pen, looking inside and waved at the little boy inside of the pen. He gave him a grin then looked over to Keiji.
"Can you and Yoko set the table? Shin sent word that he isn't going to be home tonight so its just the four of us." He told them.
Yoko and Tsu looked at one another before they nodded and set to work on gathering the needed dishes and laid them out on the table. Places for the three of them were set out, a plate, a cup, and a fork each. Tsu looked over at the baby God before going over to Keiji, tugging on the angel's sleeve before he pointed over at the little one as if to ask what it was that he was to do. The angel looked over at Vishal then tilted his head in thought, "If you can get him a plastic up, a spoon, and a bowl and set it at my place he can sit on my lap while he eats." He said. He moved to start to dish up the food onto the plates and into the bowl after Tsukiko got the baby's dishes set out on the table.
"Does everything look good?" Keiji asked, looking the table over. He then turned around and went over to where the Godling was sitting. The little one gaze up at him then there was suddenly a crackling sound and then a loud CRUNCH. Keiji's eyes went huge as the Vishal leaned forward, spitting out the shards of plastic from the rattle and some spots of blood and starred down at the pieces in front of him. Keiji moved but not fast enough as suddenly the Godling picked up two handfuls of the red spheres and stuffed them in his mouth... and swallowed.
"VISHAL!" Keiji shreiked, scooping him up into his arms and instantly reached into the baby's mouth to see if he could fish anything out that he had put in his mouth, no such luck... he eaten those red spheres. Not only that but he had cut up his mouth when he bit through the rattle, how had he bitten through it he thought frantically. Vishal gave an angry sound when Keiji put his fingers in his mouth, warning him that he wasn't going to have this and to move them. He didn't though, kept fishing around trying to... do something? So Vishal did what came to mind first, he bit down.
A sound of pain escaped from the angel's lips as sharp Vishal teeth sank into his fingers, cutting into them, "Vishal! Let go!" He ordered, had it been anyone else he would have ignored them, maybe even bit down harder but since it was the angel... he found himself letting go. Keiji pulled his fingers free from the boy's mouth, red streaming from the wounds, "Ow..." He murmured, wincing in pain.
Tsukiko ran over, looking rather in show over all that had happened in such a short time.
"Tsu, here." He said, handing off Vishal while he went to the kitchen to fetch a towel, holding it out to Yoko, "Tie this around my fingers for me?"
The demon pup nodded and instantly complied, mostly because he wasn't sure what else to do at the moment. The moment it was done though he hurried over to grab hold of Vishal by his shirt, snarling at him, "You little b*****d! You stay away from my brother!" He said moving to drop him into his pen, "You stay there!" He didn't trust him, if he would bite open Keiji who babied him who was to say he wouldn't eat his brother?! He wouldn't allow it.
"Don't, its not his fault. Just need the first aid kit is all." He said, motioning to where it was kept in Shin's room." He said, sitting down in his seat, "I will wrap it and then I will take Vishal to the hospital." He was worried, less about his own wounds as he had many scars on his person though they were always hidden by his clothing, and more for the boy. He'd swallowed those beads! He needed to be looked at, to get them out! What if they made his sick? What if they hurt him? And his mouth! He'd bitten down on plastic and shattered it, what if he cut up his mouth real bad? Keiji's blue eyes got teary just from the thought that the baby could be hurt.
Tsukiko gave the angel a worried look before he nodded and ran ahead to get the first aid kit.

Part Two: Empty House
Aside from Shin there were now four other boys living in the small house. They were loud, they were messy, and they were an all around general nuisiance if you asked the hunter. They had disrupted his life since their arrival into his care and he was always complaining about how things were better when they weren't there. So you would think that when he was heading towards the house and from a distance it looked empty, all the lights out a lot earlier then the brats normally went to bed he woudl feel relief as if thinking: Finally, they are gone and I have my house and life back to myself. That wasn't it at all though, instead he froze in his tracks starring at the place. First thing of course to run through his mind were all of the things that could have happened. All of his kids came with dark passeds, things that they were in danger of, more so because the were living together. Demons, an angel, and a little Godling all living in a semi happy if at least not attacking one another constantly manner.
He broke free of the hold that seemed to be over him and ran forward towards the small house, all but throwing the door open. The heavy door hit against the wall behind it and bounced back to close but Shin was already inside so he gave it no heed, "Keiji? Tsu? Yoko?" He called, looking around the main room of the house. Dinner was sitting on the table, cold and untouched. They had been in the middle of dinner when whatever had happened had transpired. He took another step forward and nearly slipped, he looked down seeing something wet on the floor so he moved to turn a light on. Blood? His eyes went huge, blood? Who's blood was that? He set to searching around, the pen first but there was no sign of Vishal either though his rattle sat in the bottom of his pen, shattered.
He felt his heart racing so hard that it almost hurt as he tried to find something, anything that would point to where his charges had disapeared to, he pushed the door of his room open and he found the first aid kit sitting on the bed, open as if someone had been fishing through it to get things out of it that were needed. Wait, blood and a first aid kit... ok. Then someone had been hurt but it wasn't an attack on his house or his children, what then... what had happened...? He looked closed the first aid kit and turned to go out when something caught his eye, something out of place. He walked over to pick up a sheet of paper and read it over, the writing was messy and a few of the letters were backwards along with some rather odd spelling. This had to be Tsu's doing.
'We had to goed to the hopsitel. Vishy swalloed sum beeds and he bitted Kei's hand.' It was a simple and short note, he felt himself steaming. So the little Godling brat had been the one to break open his rattle? Then he swallowed what was inside of it? That all he could have dealt with better then the idea that he had bitten Keiji, why had he done that? Wait... His eyes went huge as something in his mind finally clicked putting two and two together. The blood on the floor was Keiji's blood...
He crummpled the note up, throwing it aside and moved to grab some money out of the stash that he had hidden knowing that there would be hospital bills that needed paid when he got there. After that, after he figured out exactly what had happened he would deal with Vishal. He wasn't going to have the little brat in his house if he thought that it was alright to go around mauling his housemates! He should have known that a Monster God would be nothing but trouble!
The lights were turned back off and he rushed out of the house, door slammed closed once again as Shin ran off through the night to the nearest hospital hoping that it was the one that he boys went too...

Part Three: Hospital Room Four
"...and thats about all that I can do for him. Really it will be best if you just wait for the beads that he ate to pass." The doctor was saying, they were looking over an x-ray and there were no sign of any plastic shards being in the boy's belly. All it would seem he had eaten were the red beads that had been inside of the rattle and nothing else much to the relief of the angel. He had known what he was doing when he ate them, as for his mouth it would seem that any cuts that were inside of them were already closed up and not bleeding anymore from what the doctor had said. The man had done the looking the smart way using a metal tool to open Vishal's mouth with so he could see inside. The baby had been snarling and yowling at them the entire time but not fighting all that much with them, "Now as for those teeth of his... I would see about taking him to a dentist." The man said. They were rather sharp and like nothing he'd seen in a baby before.
"Let them pass?" Keiji asked, tilting his head to the side.
Tsu and Yoko looked over at each other then started to giggle, apparently the angel was a little lost but the two of them knew exactly what the doctor had met, "It means going to the bathroom." Tsu whispered to the angel, though saying it only had him and his twin giggling that much more.
Keiji looked at them as if he didn't quite believe what they were saying, then upon looking at the doctor who nodded his cheeks pinked, "And... that won't hurt him?"
"I doubt it. The sphere aren't sharp or anything, they should pass just fine." He assured him.
Keiji looked over to where the boy was sitting on the bed, playing with the blankets on the bed seeming to be oblivious to the fact that anything was wrong or could have gone wrong. After all he'd gotten what he wanted which was to break open and eat what was inside. They didn't taste all that good though did they? Not at all like the candy that they looked like, just... tasteless. It was a disapointment. The other stuff was good, the red goo that the doctor had brought to him. He reached over to the bowl to pick up another cube of wobbling Jell-O and popped into his mouth.
He was chewing on it when he realized that eyes were on him, he lifted his gaze over to look at the twins. His eyes narrowed and he gave a growl, what in the world were they starring at? Yoko stuck his tongue out at the little Godling then made a face at him before laughing in amusement. Tsu lifted a hand to rub his forehead, shaking his head, "Yoko... Stop teasing Vishal." He said, there were days his twin could be so childish. Not that it would seem that Tsu was really paying attention to the fact that Yoko WAS a child as it wasn't important to the thought process.
"Now, I will need to call you parents so that I can get any insurance information." The doctor was saying.
"Huh? We don't have parents." Tsu pipped up.
The doctor turned around to look at him, "Excuse me?" He asked.
Tsu opened his mouth to say it again but got elbowed in the side by his twin, "Umph, what was that for?"
Keiji rolled his eyes, "We left a note for our guardian so when he gets home from work he would be here." He said, not wanting for the guy to get the wrong idea. Leave it to little kids to try to make things sound worse then they were, "I am sure he will be here at anytime now." He gave the twins a look that made both of them sit quietly not wanting to get in trouble. They listened well enough when Shin wasn't around to see it, they didn't want to weak around him maybe?
The doctor looked back and forth between the twins and the angel before he finally nodded his head, "Alright. I will keep an eye out for him. What does he look like?"
"Rather like him." Tsu said, then him and Yoko started to giggle. Only for a moment though as the Hunter came into the room looking rather pissed off. So both went utterly silent.
Keiji pushed up to his feet, "Ah! Shin... your here." He murmured.
"Yeah. I'm here." He said, sounding as angry as he looked.

Part Four: A Stir of EmotionsThe doctor was a smart man, a very smart man after all he'd gone through how many years of college to get to be where he was today? So upon seeing the very angry Shin he seemed to vanish from the room and out of sight. That left the four boys there in front of the hunter along, silence reigned over the place and nobody seemed to be daring enough to say a word because they knew that it would just cause the incoming flood to be coming in that much faster. Shin had his arms crossed over his chest, his eyes were narrowed upon Vishal and it was then that someone moved, Keiji. "It wasn't his fault!" He said, holding his hands in front of himself in a defensive sort of way. Not protecting himself but instead the one that he was now standing in front of. He gave Shin a look, "You can't blame him for it he is only a baby!" Shin took a step forward, reaching out to grab hold of the angel's wrist and lifted his hand up to look it over. The fingers that had been chomped down on were wrapped up in bandages so he couldn't really assess the damage very well. "I had them looked at by the doctor, they are going to be fine I just have to clean them out, use antibiotics, and keep them wrapped for a while until they are healed up enough to go without the bandages." He said quickly, "Its my fault I didn't know... well I knew he had teeth but I didn't know that he could break open his rattle, I didn't think that he would eat the spheres inside of it!" His voice was rushed, his wings were shaking as if he were on trial and trying to defend himself. A situation that he had gone through before once and had lost, hence his now being a fallen angel. "I don't like this in the least bit, he could have hurt you and your so ready to jump in between him and I." Shin said, eyes narrowing and looking over the angel's shoulder to look at Vishal. "K-Keiji was trying to f-fish plastic shards out of his mouth." Tsu said, reaching up to catch hold of Shin's coat and tugged to get his attention, "V-Vishy bitted down on it and it shattered in his mouth." Yoko gave a silent growl, hopping up to grab hold of Tsukiko's arm and pulled him back away from the hunter. It would seem as the silver haired pup wasn't to pleased with his brother going off and defending the little brat as he was. It was bad enough that Keiji was but then again angels were stupid like that in their defending of things. That his brother would be as bad had him rather twitchy. For the first time though in... well ever Tsu jerked away from Yoko not giving into his demands. He instead turned back to Shin, "Keiji is a good Mommy! Can't be mad at him!" Keiji gave a groan and his face turned a rather bright pink which he tried to hide with his wings, Yoko nearly choked lifting a hand up to smack it against his forehead in exasperation, and Shin paused his anger seeming to diminish somewhat as he heard the boys words and he lifted a hand to his mouth to try to smother a laugh. Between the words and the look upon the angel's face he was having a hard time hold onto to anger at the Monster Godling, "I suppose he is just that, to good maybe. He needs to learn that some things can hurt him." "Vishal won't hurt me, didn't mean to hurt me! He's just a baby!" Keiji said, moving his wings so that he could go back to defending the little one again. Vishal was silent as everything was going on in front of him, watching on and listening to what was being said in a confused sort of way. He didn't understand, why was everyone fighting? He tilted his head to the side, lifting his hands up to scrub at his eyes a moment then looked confused down at the hands... he had dealt with indignation before at some things people had put him through. He had done anger when things didn't go his way, yowled even when he was stuck in his pen but he didn't understand what he was currently feeling. Didn't understand why... why were his eyes leaking...? He gave a soft, whimpering sound reaching out and making grabby motions at Keiji, Keiji would make it better he always did when something didn't go the way that Vishal wanted it too. Keiji looked over his shoulder before turning around, sighing as he moved over to pick the boy up and snuggled him close, "You made him cry Shin!" Shin gave a studdering, shocked sort of sound, "W-What!?" "If you didn't come in here all angry and complaining, you have a scary face when your in a bad mood." He said, giving him a look before he wrapped his wings around the baby in his arms to sooth him. Shin looked over at the twins for help... then gave a groan, "I see, you all team up against me." He muttered, trying to sound angry but couldn't pull it off, "Damn bunch of brats the lot of you." "So... your not gonna toss him out in the snow?" Tsu asked cautiously. "Bah, when have I ever done that yet?" He asked. "True." He often threatened each and everyone of them with getting tossed out the door for various things but he'd yet to do anything about anything, he was all threats and didn't carry out anything that he threatened. "Brats. I am surrounded by a housefull of brats." He shook his head, "You get ready to go. I will go talk everything out with the doctor and get the bill." He gave a wave of his hand and headed out. Keiji gave a sigh of relief and plopped back on the bed, he'd not thought that would go as well as it had... Growth

Late Night Shift
It had been a quiet night after getting home, Keiji was curled up on the sofa with Vishal laying on his chest. The little one seemed to have no idea of the trouble that he had been in or about the trouble he had gotten out of with the help of Keiji and Tsukiko. The twins had been in charge of cleaning up the uneaten food as instead they had ended up eating out for dinner after leaving the hospital. Pizza and Vishal had been grouchy until he had gotten what he wanted, some of the delicious food tha teveryone else was having. Shin decided that since he had teeth and could bite through a rattle he could surely eat solid food. And eat he had.
It wasn't long before the pair had been sleeping deeply on the couch and moved them, laying Vishal in his pen after it was all cleaned up and laid a blanket over him, Keiji was then put in the bed in the bedroom to get some sleep. Shin had then found himself watching the sleeping Godling for a while, it was odd that he got such loyalty from Keiji and Tsu, he wondered if it were true emotions from them or if somehow the Godling had bewitched them, he would of course keep his eye on the boy. While a small part of him wanted to trust him and believe that he would grow up better then the things he was the God to he still wasn't all that sure despite what Keiji thought. He supposed that was why he was the one that was the 'father' and Keiji was the 'mother'. The mother got to see only the good in the kids while the father had to deal with their bratty sides, have to hand out punishment and the like. It was just part of life.
Shin had gone to crash on the floor in the bedroom on a pile of sleeping bags, finding it as rather easy to do being used to sleeping outside while on various jobs.
*****
Vishal woke up before the sun did the next morning, he was instantly in a bad mood upon his waking to as he found himself not only along in his pen without his Keiji but he was also sore all over, he shifted a bit but his muscles protested. It was the feeling as if he had been doing a lot of strenuous exercise which as he was just a baby wasn't possible. At the same time there were three points in his body that hurt more, sharper pains as if his skin were beings stretched out from the inside out. He didn't understand it, why he was hurting so much or how to stop it. So he did what he could, rolling over onto his stomach to get off on the painful points. Two of them were located on his back near to his shoulder blades while the third was near to his tailbone. He gave a growling, whining sound reaching out to the bars of his pen and started to squirm forward out from under his blankets to look around. It was dark still so he couldn't call for Keiji, he would be in the bedroom which was to far away and the door was closed too... where then...
He shifted more, rolling despite not wanting to do so and gave a loud, angry sound as he had to press the aching points on his back and backside down but he got to the otherside to look over at the twins. They were curled up on the bed that came out of their sofa, he looked them over then started to yell at them, calling for their help to come and get him out of the pen. Or better yet one of them could go and get Keiji!
Tsukiko shifted in his sleep hearing the sounds and he opened up his eyes, "Huh...?" He murmured. He blinked a couple times and then sat up, he still had the voice so it couldn't be that late... or early. He looked around then over to where Vishal was laying on his belly, yelling at him. He turned his ears forward then crawled out of the bed, towards him, "Vishy? What is it?" He asked, kneeling down in front of the pen to look him over. He then lifted his hands up to rub at his eyes, "Hrm? You look bigger Vishy." He told him.
Vishal didn't much care, instead he made grabby hands at Tsukiko demanding that he be picked up and out of the pen he was in so that he could be brought to Keiji.
"Supposed to be sleep Vishy, its still dark out." He told him, reaching down into the pen to lift him up. Vishal gave a howl of pain hands lifting up to catch hold of Tsu's shoulders and pulled himself up and into a more comfortable position where the boy's hands were touching those points on his back. He then leaned into him and pointed at Keiji's door. He wanted the one with the wings!
"No, no Vishy. Keiji and Shin are sleeping. We can go and see them in the morning though. Come sleep with me and Yoko." He said walking over to the couch and crawled up onto it laying the baby between himself and his twin. Tsu curled up with the boy and while he wanted nothing more then to yell until he got what he wanted he supposed that laying with the twins wasn't as bad as sleeping alone... he gave a grummbling sound and looked at Tsu, scooting so that he was closer to him then to Yoko. He let his eyes close and after getting comfortable on his belly he was sleeping again though a bit restlessly.

Odd Lumps
A set of blue eyes met a set of silver eyes in a prolonged glarring contest, it was force of will that made it so that neither of the two blinked when they really wanted too. Instead they just... starred. Then growled at each other, "What in the name of Hell are you doing here!" Yoko snapped, sitting up instantly and jerked back away from the darkskinned monster that was laying next to him. His ears lay back and his tail was flicking back and forth in an angry manner, "You anwer me! And what are you doing near him!" He pointed at Tsu who had been sleeping still until Yoko started his barking.
Vishal glared up at Yoko giving a grunting sound at him, then squirmed back as if he were going to cuddle up to Tsukiko just to spite him... a bad idea though as just as he did that his three sore spots were pressed against Tsukiko's front causing the Monster Godling to let out a howl of pain and jerked away from Tsu. Yoko mistook it as an attacked and jerked back away from the toddler as he didn't want to get bitten by those teeth that had ripped open Keiji's fingers. There was a 'THUD' as the puppy fell off the couch bed in his escape landing on his back followed by an angry growling sound, "Hurt you..." He muttered, sitting up to glare over the side of the bed, then blinked. Vishal's attention was no longer on him, instead he was seeming to be trying to reach around his back to claw at the odd lumps that were protruding from his back, "I didn't do it!" Instantly wanting to make sure that it was well known that he had nothing to do with the deformed lumps the brat had.
Tsukiko pushed to sitting up and caught hold of Vishal's hands before he could do any damage to himself and leaned close so that he could look the lumps over. How... odd. It looked like... well he wasn't sure what. Lumps of some sort, he didn't dare to touch them. If they were hurting Vishal then touching them would only lead to him getting bitten he was sure. He looked over to his brother a look of worry in his eyes. He wasn't sure what was going on or what was wrong with Vishal but they had to help the poor baby!
"What... no! No! I don't wanna!" Yoko said, shaking his head rapidly. He didn't wany anything to do with him! He wanted the brat to be back in his pen where he belonged and far out of the range he would need to bite on either himself or his twin! He met Tsu's gaze, attempted his best to hold onto his anger before he growled, ears laying back, "I don't want to help him, don't even like him..." He said again, hoping that he would get it if he repeated it again. Not that his dislike of Vishal wasn't something he voiced often enough when he could do so. It seemed though that Yoko was going to lose this arguement as Tsu was still starring at him, waiting expectantly.
"Ugh! Fine! What is it that I am supposed to do with the brat?" He asked, watching Tsu as the boy pointed over at the freezer, "Ahh! Ice?" He supposed that was the best way to deal with pain, slap some ice on it. It was simple to which meant that he really wasn't helping Vishal out all that much. He hopped up and hurried over to the freezer and looked inside, ears turning forward. Huh, no ice... well... there was one time when he and Tsu were messing around outside and he'd ended up falling out of a tree that Keiji had used a bag of peas instead of ice... Yoko dug around in the freezer for a moment before grabbing what he needed out. He then returned to hop up on the bed, sit down next to his brother. He crunched up the bag some to break apart the frozen peas and slapped them on the Godling's back.
Vishal gave an angry, snarling sound and attempted for a moment to snap at Yoko's fingers... then gave up with a grunt as he realized that first off he wasn't going to get ahold of them, secondly it would no doubt be a bad idea to bite someone again so soon, and the third and most important thing was that the peas on those points of his back were actually helping. He gave a sound sort of like a purr to show his contentment before letting his eyes close. This would work, it made the ache go away and he felt for a moment well as if the pain would pass. Good, that wasn't a pleasent feeling and he didn't much want for it to continue.
"So... what do you think we should do next?" Yoko asked of Tsu, he would be happy if they could just dump the kid and his lumps off on Keiji or Shin, they were older so that was their job to deal with the little brat's problem.
Tsu tilted his head to the side, chewing on his lip before pointing at Vishal. He had a third lump? Yoko blinked then gave a grummbling, returning back to the freezer this time fetching a bag of corn to toss on the lump on the boy's tail bone, "He's rather weird isn't he? Where do you think he got those?" Maybe he got bit by a really big bug? That would serve him right for biting others! Ah... NOT tha the was defending Keiji or anything, the only one he hated more then Vishal was Keiji! Stupid, annoying, know it all angel drove him up the wall.
"Ok, is that all of the brat's lumps?" He asked.
Tsu nodded then laid back down next to the Godling, eyes closing.
Yoko gave a grummble, so they were done that was it? Nothing more then a couple bags of vegetables and then they went back to sleep? Yoko flopped back down on the bed, that sounded like a damn good idea to him. He wasn't much up for taking anymore care of Vishal then that, it would start to make people think he cared about the brat or something... Which he DIDN'T!
