haha .. it just funny to see this topic today .. I learned only as late as yesterday! the expression that "the world will go under in 2012"
I started to read Dan Brown's latest book The Lost Symbol. and he writes specifically about this topic.
it said that in 2012 the apocalyptic events happen! and we see apocalypse as meaning that the world will go under.
but in Greek it means actually 'to reveal or disclose'
apocalypse is not end of the world, but rather the end of the world as we know it.. is a start to a new world.. smile
(wow i love dan brown xp )

That would be impossible, even if there was a large mass of material headed for earth chances are that it will be caught in the gravitational pull of another planet in our solar system
And you also have to take into account the Kuiper belt which would tear up any large mass headed for our solar system like crazy

earthquakes are natural and are mostly strike in areas were two tectonic plates meet.
The level of destruction and the magnitude are determined by the building types near by and the amount of pressure that has built up between the two plates not buy some dooms day apocalypse
even the last Empress denounced the 2012 theory and proclaimed it a hoax and like ive said before the Empress is the divine daughter and no god or goddess who resides in the divine city would ever think about not warning their mortal children of certain impending doom

Empress? Devine daughter? Devine city? What? I have absolutly no idea what u are talking about. But I will agree with u about earth quakes. No need for any over reaction as far as they are conserned. They are natural occurances and could never reach the levels of destruction shown in 2012.

The empress’s are the spiritual leaders of the Nevarien religion (named so because of the most holy site on the entire planet to us, Aknavarie)
They are the descendants of the first Empress who was the very daughter of the Mother, hence divine daughter
The divine city is our version of heaven i guess you could say.

moon_the_angel_of_hell Yes, there has to be a debate topic about it....For those of you that do not know the world is set to end Dec. 12, 2012. Do you think this is true? Will we all die on this one day or is it nothing, but a lie? Is this what the Bible predicted or is it something else? There are so many doomsday prophecies out there, there have been throughout recorded history and maybe even suggestions of it in prehistory. I wouldn't put any stock into it happening in 2012 unless you're buying into bibles and bomb shelters. There's nothing wrong with capitalizing on the stupidy and or naivety of others is there? pirate pirate pirate Just Kidding heart
